Long story but to cut things short......DON'T LISTEN TO OR TRUST WHAT AN AA AGENT ADVISES YOU WHEN TAKING OUT HOME INSURANCE!!!!
Now i've never had home insurance and personally i don't understand all the bit words and technical terms along with "part a" refers to "part b" rubbish purely coz im not that way minded and i do place my trust in the agent who advises me on a service i take out. Same as my Virgin, Sky and Car Insurance and i have never had a problem until now.
I took out Home Insurance with the AA back in April 09 and i was informed by the agent of all the cover i was entitled to and one of them was accidental cover as i questioned my TV, Laptop, PS3 etc.. being covered for accidental damage and i was assures that YES they are all covered. So being happy with everything else i took out the policy. However early August i've accidently broke my Laptop screen when it was shut and i have contacted the AA and i have been told that im not covered for Accidental Damage. Now you can guess my reaction i was not happy and was not accepting that as an answer..After speaking to a manager and explaining that the agent told me that on the phone and that all calls are recorded that i wanted the tape pulled to be listened to and they advised they would do that and get back to me in a couple of days. 3 days later and no call so i contacted them and was told upto 2 weeks, requested a manager and told a week. In all of this i was getting very annoyed until 1 chap was helpful and got something done. So this carried on until around the 25th August when they told me they could not find the tape due to having new recording systems fitted and the same time of my call, coinsidence or was it that they heard the tape and new that i was right but did not want to admit it! Besides that after being told they could not find it, they told me that the accidental cover has now been added to my policy (at no extra charge) for the rest of the contract and that he would pass my claim through to the claims department to process. All seem to be well. Unfortunately Thursday 10th September this guy phoned me and advised that the claims department refused to carry out the claim due to the cover not being on it when i claimed originally. I was not happy and argued the fact that why give me the cover and pass my claim through if it was my fault. Surely if the AA was not in the wrong they would never have give me the cover if it was my fault??? So now im stuck with a broken laptop, home insurance that IS NO USE!!! so what am i to do now, i really don;t know!! But word to the wise if you trust the people and are not the sort of person who understands all the big words and contract stuff, then DO NOT USE AA HOME INSURANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TORWARDS THE END OF MY PHONE CONTRACT WITH 3G WHICH I WAS USING FOR BUSINESS I ADVISED THEM THAT I WAS LEAVING THEM TO JOIN TMOBILE AS I HAD SERIOUS PROBLEMS WITH THEM REGARDING BILLS IN THE PAST( AND I HAD ALSO LOST MY VALUAEBLE PHONE THAT I HAD SEND TO THE FOR RECLYCLING AND WAS NEVER REPLACED LEAVING ME WITHOUT A HANDSET AND) TMOBILE HAD ASO GIVEN ME A BETTER CONTRACT.
THEY OVERWHELMED ME WITH CALLS PROMISING TO MATCH WHAT TMOBIE WAS OFFERING ME . RELUCTANTLY I STAY WITH THREE . MY FIRST TWO BILLS WERE OVERCHARDED AND I THOUGHT IT WAS A MISTAKE I COMPLAINED AND THEY REFUSED TO CHARGE ME AS THEY HAD EARLIER STIPULATED WHEN I WAS LEAVING THEM . I WAS ADVISED BY OTELO (OFFICE OF THE TELECOMS OMBUDSMAN) TO COMPLAIN VIA THIER 3 EXECUTIVE OFFICE .THE MANAGER I SPOKE TO PULLED THE NOTES AS EVIDENCE OF MY CONTRACT AND HE WAS SUPRISED WHY I WAS BEING OVERCHARGED . HE APOLOGISED AND I ASKED FOR A WRITTEN CONTRACT AS THE OMBUDMEN HAD ADVISED .
ARMED WITH MY WRITTEN CONTRACT I WAS GLAD BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WOULD PUT AN END TO THE OVERCHARGES BUT IT EVEN GOT WORSE.THEY CONTINUED TO OVERCHARGE ME AND STARTING RESTRICTING MY SERVICES WHICH MEANT I WAS CUT OFF FROM MY VITAL BUSINESS LINKS.I WROTE THEM SEVERAL LETTERS EXPLAIN HOW RESTRCTIONS OF SERVICES ON MY PHONE EVEN FOR ONE HOUR WOULD ADVERSLY AFFECT ME . THEY REFUSED TO HEP ME DESPITE MY FAXING AND POSTING MY COPY OF CONTRACT TO BILLING , COLLECTIONS ,CUSTOMER SERVICE OR EVEN 3G EXECUTIVE OFFICE.
THEY STARTED HARRASSING ME BY ENGANGING ALMOST 6 DEBT COLLECTORS WHO WERE THREATENING ME WITH LEGAL ACTION , BALLIFFS AND BLACK LISTING ME TOGETHER WITH HITTING MY CREDIT HISTORY. I WAS VERY DEPREESSED AND SICK WITH WORRY BECAUSE MY PHONE WAS CUT OFF AND I HAD LOOMING THREATS OF BALLIFS KNOCKING AT MY DOOR YET AS A BONAFIDE CUSTOMER IWAS PAYING THREE G AS PER WHAT MY CONTRACT STIPULATED.
I GOT INTO A ROUTINE OF BEING PERSUED BY AGGRESSIVE DEBT COLLECTORS WHO WOULD EITHER BACK OFF WHEN I PROVIDED THEM WITH MY ENFORCEABLE CONTRACT OR THEY WOULD THREATEN TO DRAG MY NAME IN THE MUD BY BOOKING ME FOR REFUSAL OF PAYMENT. THE HARRASSMENT CONTINUED AGGRESSIVELY FOR TWO YEARS WITH AN OCCASSIONAL BREAK FOR A FEW WEEKS BUT AS FAR AS I CAN REMEMBER THOSE WERE THE MOST DEPRESSING TWO YERA OF MY INTIRE LIFE ,
I WAS BEING PERSUED LIKE A CRIMINAL YET ALL I HAD DONE WAS TO STAY WITH THREE PAY WHAT MY CONTRACT STIPULATED HAD MY CONTRACT BUT THEY REFUSED TO ACKNOWEDGE IT FOR REASONS I UP UNTIL NOW HAVENT GOT THE FAINTEST IDEA.
AFTER TWO YEARS OF SUFFERING FROM THE HARRASSMENT I GOT ADVICE FROM TRADING STANDARDS . I COMMUNICATED WITH 3G EXECUTIVE OFFICE AND THE ASK FOR PROOF OF MY ORIGNAL CONTRACT . THEY APOLOGISED IN WRITING AND EXPRESSED REGRET OPF WHAT I HAD BEEN PUT THROUGH THOUGH I HAD AN ENFORCEABE CONTRACT.
I SUFFERED A LOT WITH STRESS AS A RESULT OF THE TWO YEAR CAMPAIGN OF HARRASSMENT WHICH I BELIEVED COULD HAVE BEEN STOPPED IF SOMEONE HAD RESPONSIBLY LOOK AT MY CONTRACT VERIFY IT AND ESTABLISH THAT THE OVERCHRAGES WERE 3GS MISTAKE .I LOST OUT IN MY BUSINESS EVEY TIME MY SERVICES WERE RESTRICTED AND I WAS MADE TO PAY FOR SERVICES THAT I NEVER USED TO BECAUSE MY PHONE WAS ALWAYS RESTRICTED.
I FEEL THAT NO CUSTOMER SHOULD BE PUT TO GO THROUGH WHAT I WENT THROUGH ESPECIALLY WHEN AS A CUSTOMER YOU ARE MEETING YOUY CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS .BECAUSE I COULD NOT AFFORD TO PAY LAWYERS TO STOP THE HARRASSMENT I WAS BULLIED AND HARRASSED BY AGGREAAIVE DEBT COLLECTORS WHO LEFT ME DEPRESSED AND AFRAID TO OPEN MY OWN DOOR IN FEAR OF BALIFFS.
AFTER 3 GS APOLOGIES ON TWO INSTANCES I STIL FEEL RIPPED OFF AS I GOT VERY STRESSED WITH THE BULYING AND HARRASSMENT AND ALSO BECAUSE I LOST MY VAUABLE PHONE. IN THE TIME I HAD THEIR SERVICES MY PHONE WAS AWAYS RESTRICTED .WHAT STRESSED ME THE MOST IS THAT I HAD CONVINCED MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND A FEW BUSINESS COLLEGUES TO JOIN THREE AS WELL .IN THEIR ADVERTS THEY COME ACCROSS AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE DRIVEN COMPANY CHANGING MOBILE FOREVER BUT THOSE TWO YEARS THEY CHANGED MY LIFE FOREVER WITH THEIR BREACH OF CONTRACT AND SUBSEQUENT HARRASSMENT ,THREATS AND UNJUSTIFIED BULYING

I stupidly gave my credit card details for a FREE TRIAL ! of Acai Berry Detox and Life Cleanse from Viv3Labs. They have charged a substantial amount of money to my card without my permission.! By the time you receive the product you don't even get a chance to send it back before the 15 days "trial" is up...and their terms and conditions are not stated clearly and is extremely misleading! they automatically set up a subscription and keep on sending you products.
My bank contacted me as they thought the charges looked suspicious and are now dealing with getting the money back from them! this is not the last they have heard from me! I have sent the products back by registered post and have emailed them and phoned them and cancelled everything!

Ordered 2 items of wooden sculpture, told a 20 week delivery, no goods arrived. Promised a full refund but as of this date, ( 14/09/09 ) there has been no contact to my daily on the hour telephone messages or my numerous daily Emails. It has been over a year now and I dont hold out much hope of getting my money back, but if I can stop anyone else falling into the trap with this company, it would help.

The instructor decided by himself that he wants to give me more lessons and booked them without consulting me. I didn't and he claimed that form the money I paid for the above. Now I am being forced by the BSM customer service to book more driving lessons and pay for another mock test and for another hired car for the DVLA test.

I got some of these pills via internet which was a complete scam. Next month I was sent some more and charged on my credit accout. I rang and cancelled the order and my money was refunded. But I see from my statement they are charging me everymonth without my knowledge when i had informed the co. by phone that I did not want any more goods or anything else - they still keep charging me and my credit card co, says they can't cancel the order because I have given my details on the internet.
This is disgusting and how can i stop them taking this money every month from my credit card?

This company advertised free Acaiburn, I receive the product and have since received 2 charges to my credit card 1 for AU$73.77 and the other for AU$71.36.I want my money back damn scammers.

I saw TV report on-line about Resveratrol-Ultra and then a pop-up ocurred and it was the products that I just learned how great one can be by taking this antioxidant. On 7/25/09 then I ordered for $.99 cents and put on my CC that amount, bingo #1 that was so easy. It was two days later I recieved a call from a polite woman saying is everthing ok with your order and I said "YES" is ther anything I can do for you on this order and I replied "NO" and said thank you good buy, that was bingo #2. Five days later I recieve not one box but two boxes very interesting, it must be all for $.99 cents. A week later looked at my CC statement and bingo #2 charged $49.95 for a wrinkle release product I never ordered. Called and they said just mail back the box using your money and we will refund you the $49.95 ok did that and the charge was removed on about 8/12/09. A week after that I looked at my statement and it said bingo #1 was auto-withdrawn for $87.13 "WOW". I called again and it got down to I want you lawyers name and phone number she said did you read the terms & conditions and I said I do not have too. I did not allow auto-withdraw from my account and did not sign or state any permission of such an action. She finally gave me the stupidvisor and he said to return whats left of the resveratrol and we will refund your money. I am know doing that procedure and will see what the turn out will be. I say how can I stop them from auto-withdraw without ditching the CC number. Do as I say don't ever play "bingo" again.

i bought a pair of nike 90 football boots for my son from the GRANTHAM STORE, arrived home to find a stud was missing, i looked on the receipt for shop telephone number- wasnt there, so took them back two days later. staff member stated she had looked around in the stockroom and not found a stud so had spoken to manager who said as we had taken them home , she then just began to push them towards us, i asked to see the manager who i told ,under the sale of goods act an item/s are to be sold in a condition fit for their purpose and i objected to the inference that he had made with the 'as we had taken them from the shop'. he was extremely rude and said he wasnt prepared to do anything about them, i replied i would take this to trading standards, and was told to' do as i like' by the manager.
