| I had the misfortune to buy a car from Sentry Auto Sales in Leicester. The car has since been classed as un- roadworthy wit ha bent chassis. The idiot's that sold me this worthless piece of scrap could see I had a family with me and yet still let me drive it away. I had it checked at an independant garage who told me it was dangerous to drive. On emailing the idiot who ownns the garage he tried to taunt me by saying he has ceased trading and I would't get any money back. Lucky I paid by credit card heh... | |||||||||

A complaint over £79 that money essentials have taken out of my bank account which I did not authorise. When I had spoken to one of the staff who I believe is called Victoria. I had expressed my concerns of giving my card details and that it would be used to take money out of my bank account before I was given the loan. She had reassured me and made it quite clear that no money would be taken from my bank account before the loan was in my bank account. She knew quite well of my concerns of any money been taken out of my account, saying to me that no money would be taken from my account before the loan was in my bank account, she had to reassure me a few times before I eventually and reluctantly gave her my card details. Only about 7 days had gone by they took £79 out of my account. As no loan has yet been given to me I therefore demanded an immediate refund of my money. Which they refused. They obviously lied to me. I am still trying to get my money back. I have contacted CAB and the financial ombudsman. After a few days of contacted the financial Ombudsman they had successfully got my money back from this thieving company, money essentials also known as AKM UK essentials. Apparently they claim they do not have to give refunds for 6 months later. Fortunately I will be getting a refund in a few days. I do not see how they can justify keeping clients waiting 6 months for a refund and from what I can tell from all the complaints about them they do not even keep to their promise because even after 6 months people have not got their money back. | |||||||||

| Guy from this company rang goin through loan details was happy said there were no payments to be taken from this company themselves and that another company would be in touch within the hour to speak about a loan had no joy they didn't ring back cancelled all the loan details with sge via email few hours later. The next morning come went to go to use my card declined so went online to my account no money and no transactions to be noted so ring Barclays to be told it was these informed them it an unauthorised transaction to be told there is nothing I can do apart from bombard this company for my money as Barclays won't refund as I have given my details to them but it was done under false pretence as an identity check which is what he said needed my card details for so I've bombarded them to be told its gone to there payment and refund department so I asked for a number email anything tellin me they have no way to contact the payment processor I have 3 children an I a single mum and can't afford to be down in money for a company that obtains money from people fraudulently its a con | |||||||||

| I was buying a citroen c4 from the former 5star cars and while going ahead with the sale they pretended they couldnt find the paperwork for the car (mots, hpi, logbook). They said to come back again when they find it and i opted to put down a deposit so that i wouldnt lose out on the deal. I left £250 on the car on rhe condition that i would go ahead with the sale as long as the hpi is clear, mots and logbook were present and that there was no more than two owners. I was told to come back on the thursday. They were actually closed on the Thursday and told me to come on Saturday when i was ready to come down.after i gave them a bollocking they said to come on the friday. I arrived on the friday morning and they were cleared out completely gone, no trace of them. I am now going through the police to try and get my money back. An aggrieved employee that i met outside 5 star cars has now informed me that 5 star cars is now known as HEATHROW CAR SALES in bath street,hounslow. They have put the car they were supposed to sell me on their new website, which says it a really... | |||||||||

| We had an outbreak of bedbugs in one of our four bedrooms. We asked the council to send out a pest control officer. The officer applied far too much liquid to the floor area of the 4 bedrooms. The officer stated it would all be dry within 2 hours (still pools lying around 5 hours later, we had to mop it up). A supervisor was called out 4 hours after the application and admitted �I haven�t seen anything like this in 14 years�. By this time the laminate floors had started lifting and there was peeling to a bed, wardrobe, drawer chests and bedside cabinets in various rooms. We spent hours getting flooring quotes and costs to replace the affected furniture and these were duly sent to the councils insurers Gallagher Bassett and received by their claims handler Hanis Rehman. At no time was a loss adjuster sent out to survey the damage or a claim form sent out during this whole process. During this process it has been suggested that we were advised there might be potential damage (we were not), that the floors were not level so causing the pools (this house is 12 years old, laminate was laid on levelling foam which in turn sits on flat boarding) and a number of other trumped up excuses. Finally about 3 weeks ago we were offered the paltry sum of £700 which was flatly refused, this was increased to £1100 after we made threats of legal action. On 21st September (Nearly 3 months after the floors were flooded) a council official, Ms Dawn Lewis, finally attended our property, stayed for 15 minutes, took no photos and left. A few days later we received another offer of £2189.00, still £600 short of the replacement costs. No apologies, no consideration for the mess we have lived in and no offer to reimburse the cost of £65 we paid for the council officer to flood our home! | |||||||||

| Nuneaton & Bedworth council were requested to send a pest control expert after an outbreak of bedbugs in one of our bedrooms. The pest control officer saturated evry one of the four bedrooms causing extensive lifting to the laminate flooring and water damage to a bed, wardrobe and a number of cabinets. We found the cheapest replacement options for the floors and furniture and supplied all proof to the value of £2800. The council insurers took weeks and weeks to offer us £700 but never came out to even check the damage or ask us to complete a claim form.Weeks later we are offered £1100 which again we declined. The council finally sent out a representative and we have now been offered £2189 (The floor alone for the rooms is £2000 which is very very cheap).No apology has ever been forthcoming or consideration made for the 4 months we have lived with the mess. We were not looking to profit from this or even expect an apology. | |||||||||

| The above company debited an amount of £49.99 from my account on 17th September which they say is a fee for finding a loan. I have not received any offer of a loan and have been scammed by this amount to which I cannot afford to loose. I want the company called Greenleaf Finance Limited to refund the amount of £49.99 back to me asap to my account number 00399393 sort code 827015 or I shall contact the papers regarding them. | This company said that I had ppi owing to me. I did not, but on Vanquis credit card I had late payment charges, which I was entitled to a refund for. They said when I got the cheque from Vanquis I was to send them �£36.00 for their charges. They kept pestering me for this money, but I never received the cheque, as promised. Vanquis have decided to take the refund from money owed on the credit card, although I was promised a cheque. In 2010, I got a Debit Relief Order and my debts, including Vanquis, were listed in this order, so I assumed I didn't owe them anything. Belmont Thornton have now passed this matter onto a Debt Recovery Team and I am getting all sorts of threats. I am on benefits and cannot afford to pay. I told this Company that I would be contacting The Finacial Ombudsman, but they said that belmont Thornton were not governed by the Ombudsman. | I have recently received my bank statement i went on holiday and took all the money i had from the account so when i came home i received a letter stating my direct debit from creditxtra has been declined i done a bit of investigation. Once i googled it to see who they are i realised i have never signed up for this and certainly not given permission to take money out my account i will have to attend at my bank now to see how much has been actually taken from my account as i will certainly be looking to claim it back | |||||||||
