Candy Geiser: Back on 07/27/11 I wrote my claim Steal your money about an make money at home add I saw on Facebook. The company was nethostfee. After informing them by e-mail that I had written about my claim on your site, & that I was going to be getting a new card issued to make sure they could not take any more money. I got an e-mail back that I would be refunded. It took a little over a week, but I got my full $29.95 back. I still had a new card & number issued to be on the safe side. Thank you so much.
Bob Charters: I have had satisfaction from Jeep my vehicle has now been reapired under warranty. I have no further claim against Jeep USA Jeep UK and Jeap Ashford Orbital Kent

Dee: Not sure whether it was down to you but thank you anyway - I wrote to the people behind ACTLOANS demanding money back and telling them I had posted a complaint on this website. the money was put back into my account yesterday.
Susan Fort: Co-incidence? I don't think so - on the same day I contacted this website to post my complaint, SofabedsWorld kindly confirmed that they have refunded as requested. Prior to this they were insisting this would take 10 working days.

The White Horse, Great Baddow, Chelmsford.: (Ember Inns)The White Horse Horse at Great Baddow, Chelmsford, have very kindly resolved my complaint of "poor food & cold surroundings" as of my complaint on 20 Dec 2010 as posted on your website, thank you. Within days of my website complaint, I received a phone call from the Manageress "Liz" sincerly apologising for our "bad experience" & she invited us back for a free meal to resolve our complaint. We have only just returned to take up her offer (Fri 24 June 2011) & she helped personally to serve us herself & was very, very, helpful & polite. There was no charge at all to us for the food, which was 4 main courses & 4 deserts, & all cooked & served to a very good standard. Thank you Liz for your very kind gesture.
Penny: After giving Trimdown a good tongue-lashing by phone and email, and saying I would take it further if they did not refund they money they scammed from me, the £121 appeared in my account within a week (they had said it could take up to 30 days). So, I'm not sure if Can You Trust Them helped resolve the claim BUT it certainly gave me the confidence to pursue it when I saw how many people had fallen for the same "scam" I did with the Acai Berries. I encourage everyone tricked by them to do what I did.
So, thank you to CYTT for giving me a push to do it!
Geoff Bowen: Money finally refunded into my bank on 21st June 2011.
Not sure whether that was due to CanYouTrustThem or not, but coincidentally, after a month or so of inactivity, on the same day that BatteryTrader(Silverburn) advised me by e-mail that they were going to refund my money, I later received an e-mail from CanYouTrustThem asking if the claim had been settled !!!!
If it was down to CanYouTrustThem then a big thank you and well done.
Anne: My bank Lloyds TSB issued a refund for the monies charged with the teeth whitening company after doing a charge back and they cancelled my card and issued a new one. However a subsiduary of the teeth whitening company did take a further payment but again my bank dealt with it and through a further charge back refunded all deductions with no more incidents.The experience has been a huge learning curve and thanks to this site I had the confidence and knowledge to challenge the practices of the teeth whitening company.Thanks.
Jonathan R. Tuck: After many months of communication with the company itself and with the Internet advertising company that they were using, I finally received a cheque from King Spares for the £90.40 that they owed me. Case closed but a lot of hassle, and I would not have received my refund if I had not been so persistent. I expect that the time and effort that I expended was far more valuable than the cost recovered, but I am belligerent, and in that respect it paid off ;)

nollie: The teeth whitening products did not arrive. Further money was taken from the account. We continued to try to contact the company without success. Our credit company has returned all monies taken. They investigated with the companies bank who do not seem to have argued a case. I am happy that the money has been returned to me so there is no further action I can take but I am still cross that the company itself has not been sanctioned and will continue to behave as it does. I cannot know if the company was aware that I had issued against them online with you but if they were then it is all thanks to you for providing this site. What better way is there to issue proceedings and inform people of your intent other than online. One of the problems we came up against with our bank was in proving that we had tried to cancel with the company. This is impossible when a company has set itself up in a way that it cannot be contacted. The document online is in itself proof that we did try to solve the problem. We are now waiting to see if they will attempt to take any more money. Thankyou.
Liz Hobbs: The teeth whitening scam have coughed up and give me a full refund after my letter of complaint and claim and shame notice. So thank you.
Pearl Gorman: My claim has been resolved with the teeth whiting companies.
Nicholas Levi: Never heard anything more from Ugg-UK. However the money was refunded in full by my credit card. So I have a pair of free, crap boots which are unfit for purpose.

Freddie Wilson: Travis Homes Ltd did not repair/replace all of the issues I raised. They were reported to NHBC who investigated my complaint resolving all the sub-standard work and materials to the value of more than fifty per cent of the original cost of the property.
Fay Belfrage: Well I did get a settlement, and was repaid all moneys. I also put it into the hands of my bank and they were also going to fight for the return of the money. Thankyou very much for your concern and checking to see if I had my settlement.
Thanking you Fay Belfrage I am at the moment fighting to get a bird cage changed as the one I was sent was not what I ordered and is faulty and will not hold the parrots I want to place in it as the welding is not done properly so if I do not get any results will be in touch. Once again thanks
MelWynyard: Both my claims have been refunded by my bank but they have reserved the right to charge me back again if proof can be provided that I agreed to the charges in the first place. Since I don't know what I signed up to this seems to be very one sided as far as I am concerned. I've had no response from either of the two sites with regard to apologies etc - I just wsh there was a way to block them permanently without having to change my card details.
mary: Claim was settled. Using this site, I hooked up with another person who had pursued settlement on their own and that kind of boosted my energies and got me taking action on my own behalf. Of course, we reported to the credit card company. BUT...I also searched the rules/regs for fair trade in Europe and a few other things...this gave me real, legitimate outcomes to let the folks at Health Science know I knew about. Finally...and this was a stroke of luck...I actually unearthed a post sent to me confirming the arrangement for free samples...and was able to blow them away with it because it mentioned NO automatic charges to my card etc.
Happy ending came in a couple of weeks after discovering the problem. This website definitely helped.
