| My name is Ian Griffin. I have just read on Miles Grady's Bio on socialsellouts he say's he was the founder of my company Harrington Brooks. Just have a look at companies house and Harrington Brooks previous name. You will see it was Griffin Finance. I set up and founded Harrington Brooks and employed Miles Grady as the sales director. I am speechless he is selling himself as a total fraud. I am currently suing Mr Grady for corporate fraud as he stole money from my business. The consequences are not just civil, they are criminal. I will make sure Miles goes to prison for this theft. Just google companies house then Harrington Brooks to see the proof. What a awful scumbag, steeling from the man who gave him a break when he worked at the co-op in manchester on 30k per year, Now he spends that on prostitutes. More to come. | i made a complaint to santander because i was due money to go into bank from my benifits, it wasnt in so i phoned up the benifits and they said that it was nothing to do with them i had to contact bank which i did and they first told me i had to go into branch so i had to jump on bus and go into branch then to be told by them they couldnt help i hasve to phone them, bascially i got messed about and it cost alot of money for me to get no where, i made complaint and was told i would be refunded i didnt hear from them for while so i phoned up to find out that my complaint had been closed with no reason why and no refund, am so angry how i been traet | |||||||||

| I noticed that I had 2 payments taken out of my account from MY LOAN from when I looked on my internet banking. Phoned them up knowing that I hadn't had any loans with them to find out that they had NO DETAILS of myself neither had any details of my bank account number or sort code. I then phoned my bank to say there had been some fraudulent activity and luckily enough for me they are refunding the money. But be careful, if you even look at some kind of loan or phone any loan company up just to enquire, somehow they will take money out of your account. So to name and shame MYLOAN.COM STAY AWAY AND NEVER USE, THEY ARE A NASTY PIECE OF WORK | |||||||||

| looked for a short term loan filled in application on merrywood loans. i never found a loan but merrywood loans took £69.95 frommy debit card without me knowing telephoned the company told me to a refund request in writing or by email which i did. I then telephone them again they said they would refund the money but it would take up to 30 days to credit my account. It is know the 4th of april and still know refund but merrywood loans say they tried to refund the money on the 22rd of march but merrywood loans are sayind that my bank refused the refund which i find hard to believe | |||||||||

| Today I received a letter stating that I owe £494.00 to paypal who have past it onto iQor recovery services . I do not owe this as my paypal account was hacked when my identity was stolen. Paypal is aware of this and bevause of this debt wasn't to do with me I should not be liable for it . Also the letter which I have got from iQor is in poor condition and isn't a professional letter also due the fact that they are demanding the debt to paid in full and is ignoring Section 40 of the Administration of Justice Act and Under the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008, it is an offence to engage in aggressive commercial practices, including the harassment of debtors by making demands for payment in a manner that causes unreasonable distress, fear or embarrassment. As I do not owe this money I demand they stop contacting me un less they show me a copy of an agreement that I have signed showing that I owe this debt of which I don't owe anything. I will be taking this matter further until it is fully resolved as I do not owe anything. | |||||||||

| We were phoning a few visa companies a few weeks ago (around the 10th January 2011) in order to find out the cost and details of obtaining Indefinite Leave to Remain. My sister happened to contact Global Visas and she (apparently) gave them my mobile phone number. I had never heard of your company when I received a phone call from Mr Afghan Khan. He launched into his sales pitch and started asking me a couple of questions to find out if I was eligible to obtain Indefinite Leave to Remain. He then asked for my bank details. When I asked him why he wanted my bank details he said (these were his EXACT words): "we just need to authorise your account". I have given my details to one or two online internet companies (like PayPal, eBay and others) and when THEY "authorise my account" it means that they are VERIFYING my account, in other words checking that I have a valid bank account that they can do business with. What I did NOT realise was that Mr Afghan Khan was taking a �£300 deposit without my knowledge and without my consent. I take this to be a misunderstanding. While I was on the phone with Mr Afghan Khan (and later his colleague Mr Marcin Stylski) I CLEARLY told them NOT to proceed with this contract. The reason for this is that I first wanted to speak to my dependant (my partner) and I also needed to check that I would be able to obtain the necessary paperwork. Unfortunately even if I WERE to use your company to obtain Indefinite Leave to Remain I wouldn't be able to complete the process as I have recently found out that my grandparents birth certificates are currently missing in Zimbabwe, we are unlikely to find them before our visas expire and there are no copies available - I have looked into this extensively. As I have said, what I did NOT realise was that Mr Afghan Khan had taken �£300 from my bank account without my knowledge while I was on the phone with him. I have attempted to contact him on numerous occasions since this phone call merely to discuss whether or not this misunderstanding can be rectified (and the deposit hopefully being refunded). Unfortunately each time I called Global Visas: - I get transferred from department to department to people who cannot assist me - I get put through to an answering service where I leave a message and get no reply - I get put indefinitely on hold - I get disconnected I EVENTUALLY got through to Mr Afghan Khan and he told me to phone on the following monday or tuesday when the company director would be in. I phoned on both those days and got no response from him. I was told on wednesday that I should phone on thursday. I phoned on thursday and I was told Mr Afghan Khan wasn't in the office and I should call later in the day. I called later in the day and I was told that the director wasn't in the office and I should phone later still. I phoned AGAIN when the director was supposed to be there and when I EVENTUALLY got through to Mr Afghan Khan I managed to speak one sentence before he told me to "please hold", after which he hung up the phone and (according to one of his colleagues) he left the building!!! Since then I have once managed to contact Mr Marcin Stylski. He told me that the ONLY way to sort this out is to contact Global Visas by logging in to their website and using the contact section. He then emailed me a login name and password. Unfortunately, before I can access this part of the website, there is a section where I HAVE TO agree to the websites terms and conditions. I read these terms and conditions and it appears to me that by agreeing to the terms and conditions I agree to officially become a customer of your business and I will then be held liable for the remainder of the full fees (approximately another �£900 which I can NOT afford) with the threat of debt collection agencies if I don't pay in full. I suspect some sort of subterfuge on Mr Marcin Stylski's part in trying to get me to agree to these terms and conditions in this manner. As I have said: - I ineligible for Indefinite Leave to Remain due to missing documents - I am therefore unable to be your client - I was completely unaware that I was being charged the deposit - I have been completely reasonable in obeying their requests as to when I should call. | |||||||||

I'm wondering what I believe many people must wonder, why are most insurance groups only interested in taking money off of you but when it comes to helping you they are a complete waste of time?! Basically i'm complaining about DIRECT LINE car insurance. The car in question is my fathers car and I am a named driver on his policy. The car was bought 5 years ago now and there has been no claims made on this policy. On the 17th of January this year the road conditions in Aberdeen where I work had around 1 inch of snow on them topped off with a layer of ice on them. On the day in question I had my fathers car to my work and around 12pm I went out to pick up something for my lunch from a nearby shop and proceeded to take what I bought back to my work to eat it. On my way back to my work place a women driver came down the road I was on far too quickly for the road conditions resulting in causing an accident between myself and the car she was "driving". In the area where I work there are parked cars on both sides of the street, not illegally parked I might add. I was driving through the middle of the parked cars at both sides of me nearing the end of them and and out of nowhere a car appeared. What should have been done here is the other driver should have gave way to me behind one of the parked cars until I had passed through except she did not. She did not see me nor did she even slow down to make sure there was no on coming traffic from the opposite direction. She just drove straight towards me then in the split second that this happened, she swerved to the opposite side of the road behind a parked car. This resulted in the left hand side of her car (the back left hand passenger door) damaging the front left hand side of my fathers car. Now, getting to the point in hand: this incident happened on 17/01/13 and today's date is 17/03/13 and this matter between my insurance Direct Line and the 3rd party insurance Swinton in still not resolved. Direct line took 5 weeks to finally have my car asset and booked into a garage for repairs. When I first made contact with Direct Line on 17/01/13 to report this they told me that my fathers policy did not cover me for the use of a curtsy car but as it sounds like it is the 3rd party's fault that my father would be able to get a curtsy from the other drivers insurance....this did not happen! Myself and my father both work in Aberdeen but stay in Peterhead so drive to work each day which is a 76 mile drive both ways. Luckily for us the car was able to drive for the 5 weeks but the head light was caved in and the left indicator did not work. There was also body damage to the bonnet, left wing and bumper. In the 9 days the car was getting repaired we had to pay for bus tickets into Aberdeen from Peterhead then taxi fares from the bus station to my work and my fathers work which is in the opposite direction. We were led to believe we would be able to claim this back as well. My father then had to pay £250 excess to get the car out of the garage after the repairs as Direct Line had still not been able to get Swinton to except liability regardless of the numerous phone calls he had made to Direct Line. I made a call to Direct Line also as my patents was running dry and the guy on the other end of the phone asked me if there were any double lines where the accident happened? YELLOW LINES!!! 6 weeks later, numerous phone calls, diagrams drawn out and posted to them, emails sent (that got no response) and they are asking about YELLOW LINES!. No there were no cars illegally parked. the other driver was in a hurry to get somewhere and was driving to fast for the road conditions and was not paying attention, pain and simple. 2 months have now gone by and each time my father makes a call to Direct Line they just fob him off. He told a Direct Line employee on the phone that he will not be renewing his policy but the guy seemed as if he was sitting there shrugging his shoulders not caring. If we asked them for their name they would refuse to give it. We have lost out on hundreds of pounds and our so called insurers have given us no help whatsoever. Our hands are tied and don't know what to do. The last time I spoke with Direct Line was about 3 weeks ago and they gave me some spiel about waiting for a report and it would take a couple of weeks. We still haven't heard back from them. One of the problems in dealing with Direct line is they won't give you an individual person to deal with your case so every time you phone them up you are starting from square 1 again and again so this results in getting nowhere with them. They are such a big company and I am appalled at the way they treat their customers. I have spoken with other people that have Direct Line as their insurers and I have not heard a good report about them. I WROTE THE ABOVE 6 WEEKS AGO. Swinton are still disputing this today (05/04/2013)when it was clearly the 3rd party at fault for driving to fast in the snow and not paying attention to on coming traffic (ME. Direct Line are as bad. Still today when they are phoned they still pass the book so to speak and say the same thing that they are still waiting to hear back from the other insurance as they are still not excepting liability. this is 2 weeks short of 3 month and i am still at square 1! I've took photos of the scene, drew diagrams of the incident, wrote about the incident in words and sent all this to Direct Line and they are still acting like a waste of time. When you speak to them on the phone it is like speaking with someone that has only been on the job for a week because they act like the don't know what they are doing. | The following email below was sent to AK Management (a-ksolutions.co.uk & money essentials) in reference to me browsing the web for a £100 payday loan and got passed by a 3rd party to AK Management whom I believe are personal loan finders. My point being was why would I pay £79 for a one off £100 payday loan. All I wanted was for them to return my £79 that they withdrew from my bank account on my payday. Below is the email I sent to them but got nowhere with them. I also sent a letter to cancel this but that was a waste of time. My advise is stay away from 3rd party loan companies and loan finders, especially those that constantly phone your house phone then mobile phone because they want to charge you a fee for finding you a loan. Even if they don;t find you a loan look out because there is a huge chance they will withdraw money from you once you have you pay in your bank account. eg AK Managment Dear Sir/Madam, At the beginning of September 2012, I received a telephone call from yourselves AK Management UK Ltd, asking if i was interested in a £500 loan. I told your representative that I had been online and it was only a pay day loan I was interested in, and not a long term loan from the likes of money essentials etc. I, in no way made any agreement with AK Management UK Ltd to become a member. The representative of whom I spoke with on the phone, acknowledged this and understood. I therefore expected no further action to come of this, however I had a payment of £79.00 taken from my account on Wednesday 19th September 2012. No agreement was ever made for me to join money essentials or for this monies to come out of my account. I therefore requested a full refund of this monies and cancellation of any subscription in which my name is part of, whether from yourselves or any third parties that you may deal with. As I did not give authorisation for this money to come out of my account, I therefore believe that fraudulent activity is happening within my bank account. Therefore I wish for any information to be cancelled and for funds to be debited back into my account quickly and efficiently. | |||||||||
