Colin: Whilst I did not have to resort to posting my complaint the list of people that had succeeded and the methods used gave me the confidence to persue the motor engineers for the ordered and paid for replacement part - value £475.00 which should have arrived within 3 days. My suggestion is that if you have made payment via credit card, your read their small print and wait the statutory 30 days then write to the company that has failed to deliver advising them that you are requesting a claw-back of the payment via the credit card company. This action has an adverse affect on the relationship between that business and bank/credit providers. I sent that warning by recorded delivery and received an email the following day-my purchase arrived 2 days later. Final tip - DO NOT WASTE TIME PHONING OR TEXTING - GET A TOP-NAME-DIRECTOR/EMPLOYEE USE IT ON THIS SITE / SEND EMAIL or SNAIL MAIL RECORDED and keep copies of everything.

Colin Miller: After getting in touch with Building Societies, Fraud Dept, who knew about this company,from which the monies were taken, Bldg Soc reimbursed my monies, and when I did contact this company and explained that the Fraud Dept was after them they then reimbursed my Bldg Soc account. Penny : I have today received a full refund from TRIMDOWN / SHARKILAGE on the Acai Berry free trial "scam" after telling them I would take legal action if they did not refund the £120 they took from my account when I only agreed the £2.99 postage & packing. The refund came through in less than a week.


Liz: I got a full refund from the toothpaste scam, apparently it was in their small print that the free offer of a sample actually was signing you up to a contract. the website was not clear about this. However I am grateful I have received a full refund. thank you .


ami jordan: I got my money back!

the loan centre.net took £67.70 from my bank account without my permission on 31st march 2011.
After seeing the numerous complaints about them on this website and seeing that some people had got their money back I was encouraged to continue complaining and ignore their claims in response to my email complaints that i had agreed to give them this money as a 'membership fee'.
After being infuriated and reduced to tears by Natwest's refusal to admit that the loan centre.net stole my money, I reported them to the financial ombudsman in a quick phone call (0800 023 4567 if you're calling from a landline or 0300 123 9 123 from a mobile) and a few weeks later, after no further contact with theloancentre (they stopped responding after i mentioned the financial ombudsman...) I found the refunded money in my bank! hurrah!

I hope this encourages others to persevere. We can't let them get away with targeting vulnerable people and stealing their money.

the loan centre.net is a morally bankrupt company and hopefully one day will be financially bankrupt too!!


Sue C: I don't know how but after trying different avenues and giving up, I have just this morning found when I checked my bank account that I have been refunded all the money owed to me.

So don't give up it can be done.

MELINDA ROLES: I HAVE NOW HAD A REFUND FROM THE LOAN CENTRE COMPANY YOU DIDNT HET THIS BACK I DID AFTER NUMEROUS EMAILS AND WRITTEN CANCELLATION BY RECORDED DELIVERY.
I WENT THROUGH SOMEONE CALLED TOM@LOANCENTRE.CO.UK IT TOOK 3 WEEKS AND VARIOUS THREATS BE CAREFUL IF YOU GO ON THIS SITE DO NOT PUT YOUR CARD DETAILS IN AT ALL.

Lesley: After printing all correspondence i went into my bank and they refunded my money closed my account and photocopied all my correspondence to send to the fraud squad.
I wasnt the only one who this had happened to in my bank that week as i found out

albion123: even thou you didnt settle my claim i did it myself with creditsaver.org. i just ponded them and pounded them i then made up a crime no from my ocal police and sent them an email with it stating they was involved funnily enough i received full refund the very next day x

Ghada Chalhoub: 24 hrs after i placed my complaint on UGGbruxelles I received the item, it says from China. When i emailed the company asking them why they didn't reply to any of my emails and why they didn't confirm my purchase, they just replied that they were sorry ("Désolé").
