Claim title: Rip off

[13/09/2009] Les: My sister lives at Bradley Stoke so I asked her to check this address out. Its just a domestic house . I've had a friend who has been scammed so been doing a bit of investigation. They may be innocent victims themselves at this address as someone may just be using it. But I doubt it.

[09/10/2009] sharon: I HAVE JUST RECEIVED A SECOND BATCH THAT I DID NOT ORDER.
IT HAS BEEN CHARGED TO THE SAME CREDIT CARD, WHICH I DIDNT AUTHORIZE.
WHAT DID YOU DO?

[20/10/2009] jane brandon: My complaints are the same as many others.I requested a trial size which I recieved. The cost was $6.95 Canadian....The following month there were 2 charges of $134.19.I called my credit card company the charges were reversed. Now my next statement 2 charges of $133.97 Canadian. So I called the company I got up at 3am my time. The woman I spoke to said the computers were very slow.....could I call back in 20 mins.I called back spoke to some one in customer service who was rude I asked to have my money refunded ,and to close the account of course she could not do that.I would recieve something by E-mail.I asked if I could speak to her supervisor and she hung up on me.

[04/01/2010] Derrick Phillips: I can tell you even more about this address, beause I live there! Yes, it is a residential address, but we run a small business that has been seriously harmed by this scam. We don't have anything to do with selling tablets, we don't take the money, and we didn't give permission for our address to be used. We have been scammed as well - but in an even more insidious way. We have done some investigation and I can tell you where the pills are sent out from. It is PO Box 13579, Linlithgow, EH49 9AH. That's the packaging company that sends out the goods, but they do seem to forward complaints to the originators. Better still, see how other victims have got their money back by looking at the advice one victim put together on www.tlcinvestigations.co.uk.

[19/01/2010] Angela Parmely: Hello,

If there was some confusion about your subscription, we honestly didn't mean to inconvenience you in any way.  Our goal is not to inconvenience our customers .The terms and conditions of our offer are very visible on the order page, they are stated on the order page where you confirm your order, located directly to the top of where your credit card information was entered. There is also a link at the top of the home page that opens up the terms and conditions in a separate window. Customer service is our number one priority and we do everything we can to be open with all of our customers. Of course, mistakes can be made; and if you were not aware of our terms and conditions in our site.

[02/10/2009] Duncan Heather: http://www.acai-cleanse-combo.info

[02/10/2009] Duncan Heather: They are using multiple web sites

http://www.healthspark.co.uk/
http://www.acai-cleanse-combo.info/index.php?keyword=gs_Life-cleanse
http://www.acaiberryexclusive.com/frontend/join/terms/site/4313

[03/10/2009] Patricia Barnes: I am having the same problem with them.
I wouldn't mind as much if the stuff actually worked.

[03/10/2009] Paul Gibbs: I also have been in receipt of pills and invoice as severla other complainants on this web site / service. I shall be requesting refunds and send the pills back, unopened.

[05/10/2009] Denise: Advert on MSN
So far they've taken over £230

[07/10/2009] Rick Faulkner: My wife ordered from HealthScience? in August as well, and now we are in the process of trying to cancel our account. TD Visa gave us the phone number to call, 1:30 am Canadian time, to cancel. Hope it works. You have to get the employee's name and contact number to start the process. If they bill you after the cancellation date, then the Visa people will step in. You have to mail the products back tracked, so you know they received it, then there is no excuse for a refund.

[22/10/2009] Sara Scott: Same thing. Have just received two bottles of detox pills that I have not ordered. I tried them out as a sample a few months back and now they have sent them to me again - this time at full price and unrequested! What do I do?
Date received them: 21/10/09

[03/11/2009] julie : Hi,
I'm from France.
I'm abused by them too.
Actually 6 payments unauthorized on my account have been made by them.
I changed my credit card 3 weeks ago, opposing payment on it, but I discovered 3 others today!
Has someone of you found the solution to stop this claim ?

[17/11/2009] Kerryn Tolhurst: As with all the people noted above, I am having the same problem with this company - I have 2 - 3 unauthorised payments from my account. Changed my credit card, opposing payment to these - bank (Mastecard) not being very helpful in stopping this fraudulent company. I need to stop them - I cannot afford these pills which do not work. Received another 2 bottles of pills - I do not want them - they don't seem to take refunds or want detox pills returned. I cannot afford to pay continually for something I did not authorise. I need this sorted. Please help get my payments refunded and stop the fraud.

[17/11/2009] Fiona Heaton: I have looked for a website for this company as I did not keep a note of it at the time. If it is any help at all I picked up the advertisement via my hotmail account, maybe they can help with the web address?

[11/12/2009] derrick: Health Science is not based at 31 Arden Close Bristol. This address has been used without the homeowners permission. The address has been hijacked. I live at 31 Arden Close and we are NOT involved in the sale of diet pills. We are victims too. We have been visited by the relevant authorities, interviewed and cleared of involvement in this scam. The company sending out the pills and accepting letters and returns is at PO Box 13579, Unit 5 mill Road Industrial Estate, Linlithgow EH49 9AH Scotland. They are NOT taking the money. Any letters or packets sent to the Bristol address are being redirected to Linlithgow, and would be better sent direct to Linlithgow. I believe there is a call centre, which can effect a cancellation of the orders, which operates during UK office hours.
Try looking at www.tlcinvestigations.co.uk. This is a site set up by a victim in an attempt to help others.

[30/01/2011] Margaret Arnott: I was also scammed for Acai/Hoodia £75 I have cancelled my card and the bank told me Its in their terms and conditions and I can do nothing. It seems to be a company called csu8.com working under different names.
support@acai.com Phone 0800520 0449. good luck.

Claim title: Health Science? Acai Berry Detox Pills Scam

[05/10/2009] Isabella: I had the exact same problem. I ordered a free trial, nothing more. I received the trial and I didn't order anything else, I had to pay £4.99 shipping. Now on the 5th October I received more Acai Berry Detox pills that I did not order and they charged me for £82.95... I am under 18 and my mother is furious because it's such a lot of money for something that I really did not order. I really want my money back.

[09/10/2009] sharon: the same thing happened to me. what did or have you guys done to stop them charging it to your account? are the pills even authorised?

[12/10/2009] annabelle: the same thing happened to me. will they keep sending things and charging us? is there a way to get our money back?

[12/10/2009] Hayley: The same thing happened to me. I saw the add on a reputable australian women's health magazine website and thought I would just get the free trial bottle not realising they would send me another bottle a couple of months later and charge me $136 aus. My husband is so angry with me. I have sent all bottles back to the company now and demanded my money back. I also spoke to my bank and told them about the transaction I did not authorise on my credit card and the have put in a dispute for me and said I do not have to pay the $136 off of my card until the dispute has been sorted. On top of all of that, the stupid pills don't even work. I wreckon it is mind over matter, plus keep yourself really busy so that you don't have time to eat too much. Another thing that works for me is to look at myself in the morror in just my underwear, I get so discusted that I don't feel like eating.

[19/10/2009] AJ: Scammed by these people as well......they did not cancel my order when requested.
My bank gave me 2 phone numbers to call and cancel 1 416 900 1137 and 1 888 338 9943. I'll try them and see if I have any better luck. Meantime I'm out $500.00 for nothing!!!

[22/10/2009] gill smith: I have also been invoiced for/sent products that I did not ask for. In fact the order date was when I was on holiday, out of the country

[28/10/2009] Migdalia: I had the exact same problem I ordered a free trial nothing more now I old $436.00 to my credit card for nothing and I want my money back I send the pills back I will like some one to help my get my money back

[28/10/2009] Migdalia: I had the exact same problem I ordered a free trial nothing more now I old $436.00 to my credit card for nothing and I want my money back I send the pills back I will like some one to help my get my money back and I dont want this company to send my nothing else.

[02/11/2009] Phil: LIFE CLEANSE, HEATH SCIENCE, HEALTH TIME, FACE FACTOR, FEELWELL, AND CTT SINGAPORE ARE ALL SCAMS! THEY USED MY CREDIT CARD INFO FRAUDULENTLY. I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS PRODUCT OR GIVE ANY AUTHORIZATION FOR 6 CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS OF $130. SCAM ALERT!!! DO NOT EVEN SIGN UP FOR THE FREE SAMPLE!!! 5 DIFFERENT COMPANIES HAVE MY INFORMATION SOME HOW! AND THE BILLING CAME IN A NAME THAT IS NOT MINE NOR A PERSON THAT HAS AUTHORIZATION TO USE MY CREDIT CARD!!! ...AND I CAN'T GET THEM TO REFUND MY MONEY!!! SCAM, FRAUD! BE WARNED!

Claim title: RIP OFF

[09/10/2009] Bev Andrews: On 12th Aug I too ordered free trails of Acai Berry Detox & Life Cleanse, paying just the shipping fee (by debit card). On 30th Sept I noticed 4 x £77.19 had been taken from my account without my authorisation. I contacted my bank (good old Barclays), who sent me a form to complete & duly cancelled my card. I filled in form, faxed it back same day with evidence of amounts out of my account. I then rang so called Trading Planet to complain, cancelled my orders (which I hadn't even placed). On 5th Sept I then received 2 more packages from Healthscience? (both I sent back recorded delivery, unopened), and another pack arrived yesterday from Trading Planet. Anyway I checked my bank statement last night and all my £308 odd has been credit to my account again. THREE CHEERS FOR BARCLAYS. Hopefully my story will help others. Contact your bank straight away, if get form to complete do not tell them you paid via internet for shipping for items, (this will then be treated as fraud), and cancel your card and request a new one. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE these thieving gits need to be found and strung up!!!!

[15/10/2009] Rick Faulkner: Bev, you are lucky to get your money back. By filling in the web form and sending it in, you made a contract with them and did not cancel within the 15 days of your order date.If you had read the terms, you would have known that not cancelling in those 15 days puts you on their monthly subscription list. The sad part is I just found out from the site wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk that Trading Planet Ltd aka: HealthScience has a proposal to "strike off", and that under Trading Planet Ltd, it has "Expired Contract". The application for "striking off ", was September 10/2009. You are lucky again being with Barclays, we are with TD Visa, and no such luck.....yet. Too bad these scammers can't be delt with by the law.
The scam is selling a bottle of pills for 6 times the price, and making sure you don't get the chance to cancel within their time limit.
