Claim title: ACIA BERRYS AND LIFE CLEANSE
[13/08/2009] James Carr : I too was caught out by this and am looking to try and get contact details so I can send them a mail to cancel my orders and I can also print out and send to my bank so as to inform them that I have sent a mail to cancel.

[27/08/2009] Diane: Can you please share their e-mail address?
[02/09/2009] Lynn: I received free sample and don't vaguely remember being on a website. Anyway searched the package for an invoice and found it stuck to the inside of package. It said Trading Planet Ltd. It gave 4 phone numbers. None of them would work. One was for Canadian and U.S. residents. They spoke in French and when asked for an English speaking person, they just hang up. (3 times.) I phoned my credit card company and they were familiar with this company. They gave me the number to phone wich is a Canadian Toronto number 416 900 1137. I'm pretty sure it was the same guy who answered another number and didn't help me. This time he helped me. He gave me my cancellation number so the credit card company can use that if there is any more withdrawals from my card. Hopefully this has solved the problem. I was within the 15 days cancellation time and only have the $6.65 shipping cost to pay for.
[24/10/2009] janice: i to have been caught up in this scam please if anyone is out there that knows what to do to cancel this shit please help me they have so far taken $567.00 nz out of my accounts anyone having phones numbers to ring from new zealand please please help thank you all
[26/10/2009] janice: have recivied an email from these people which is support@tradingplanetltd.com phone number 00442031399027 which i have rung to cancel all orders and have recivied a cancelation number now i wait to see if they take anymore out next good luck to all
[08/11/2009] Mary: I signed up for the trial offer for the Acai Berry and Clense I did not order anything further. My credit card was charged for Can $525.16. I have emailed the company and hopefully the charges will be reversed. I post this as a warning to others.

[14/08/2009] Linda: I don't need to write anything for mine - just exactly ditto what you just said- I am really angry about this, as i'm sure everybody else is.
[14/08/2009] fiona bennett: I too ordered a free trail (stupidly) and am now getting billed on my credit card. I phoned a UK customer service number and ended up speaking to someone in France who did not speak particularly good English. She claims that they do not have an email address but gave me a reference number over the phone to confirm that it had all been cancelled. Is this likely to work?? does anyone have an email address for them?
[15/08/2009] Andy: I just cannot believe that so many people thought that they were getting something for free! Since when does a company send out it's product for free? Let's face it you had no intention at all of sending it back you just wanted something for nothing and were to dumb to read the terms.
[27/08/2009] Diane: If you find an e-mail address, please let us all know
[29/08/2009] Richard.: I hope this will be helpful to all. Apart from the Royal Mail Fraud Dep't (Ref: the Edinburgh Royal Mail Licence No. 10693... on Trading Planet Jiffy Bags...and a complaint/notification to Trading Standards...there is always the perfectly legal (no Data Protection issues on public domain information)... 'Companies House' search for company details and director
information. My information was from...www.snoop4directors.co.uk / www.snoop4companies.co.uk - and cost a few pounds for a pdf or html of their file. Good luck.
Trading Planet's Director is:
Derrick John Phillips, The Coach House, Union Street, CHEDDAR, Somerset - BS27 3NA. D.o.B: 08/02/1943. The 'Bradley Stoke, Bristol address' printed on their delivery address label is in fact the company's Registered Office: 'Ordman House', 31 Arden Close, Bradley Stoke, Bristol - BS32 8AX.
Letters by 'Recorded Delivery', (keep copies), should be posted to these addresses a.s.a.p. so as to comply with this company's requirement for cancellation.
I have been one of the lucky ones. I sent the letters as detailed above, but also phoned their given number. It was answered immediately and a very pleasant young lady (Kelly - American accent)confirmed my 'pleasantly' made request for a cancellation of any further delivery and charges. She took a moment to apply my cancellation after confirming it was within their 15-day stipulated period. She confirmed the cancellation.
As a safeguard... I had reported this company and its associates to my bank's Fraud Department. They arranged for their 'Lost and Stolen' department colleagues' to cancel my credit card and its account number, before issuing a fresh card and a new account number. They also confirmed that they would 'watch' my account and see that no transactons to the above company would be allowed.
Take the trouble and effort....hopefully you will all be OK. I think it's the 15 day problem that needs to be beaten by speedy action. GL. Richard.
[19/09/2009] Lorelei: For all those who want to break all ties with this huge SCAM company which goes by different aliases which include Vitality Clean, Trading Planet LTD., Viv3 labs to cancel all acai berry orders and such CALL 1-888-325-8623
[01/10/2009] Julie: I have also paid for a free trial and had 4 lots of £77 charges from my credit card, all under different trading names. My credit card company have said they cant get me any of the money back. Has anyone been successfull in getting a refund from the company? I rung the main number and a very rude lady told me "whatever" and put the phone down on me. Not sure what to do next?
Julie
[12/10/2009] Marie: I have also been cheated by this pirate company Trading Planet Ltd. After having ordered for free their 2 products Acai Berry Detox and Life Cleanse, for which they only charged my VISA card for the shipping fees (more or less 4€), then a month later I was shocked to find two debits on my VISA card from some unknown companies (one called skincare today and the other CTT +442033938389) of about 84€ each. Both were corresponding to the same amount of 119 US$. At first I did not understand at all what they were and blocked my card, filed a claim both to the local police and to my bank. It's only when I found this website and all the other complaints that I realized who was the theft. Never order anything from this company. They cheat. They are robbers. They use false names as identifiers on your bank statements, so that it makes it difficult to trace them, and charge you a huge amount for things you never asked.
[26/10/2009] tracy : i also sent off for a free trial in august today another bottle of pills arrived with an £82.95 invoice had huge row with taija on phone who said i am not entitled to money back however about a month ago someone took £77 out of my bank claiming to be computer supplies in singapore i disputed it and got refund from bank and cancelled my card anyway have just checked bank and they haven't taken any money from me yet need to ring them to make sure but they are experiencing technical difficulties they do not have new card number so fingers crossed they can not take a penny from me
[26/10/2009] Richard Grant: Their last sending point in the UK is:
Ordman House
31, Arden Close
Bradley Stoke
Bristol
BS32 8AX
This is probably a convenience address as this is working class housing estate
[26/10/2009] Simon: I found this Email adress: support@tradingplanetltd.com
Try to email them.
I have the same problem.
[11/11/2009] Nikki : I've had the same thing happen i want 2 stop all transaction coming from this company
[12/11/2009] Jean: No email address listed for this company, you are better of ringing their UK landline ASAP and cancelling the "subscription" you didnt know you had.
number is 08082389830
[24/11/2009] Derrick Phillips: There's an awful lot of misleading information on this site. But I guess that shows the weakness of database searches. I am the Derrick Phillips that keeps getting mentioned and I do not, and never have, lived at the Coach House address that someone has "discovered". I do live at the "Arden Close" address that has been used by the scammers. And I am the registered director of Trading Planet Ltd, one of the company names that the scammers have used. But I don't run the scam and nor does Trading Planet Ltd (a recently formed company that has never traded). It is all part of the smoke screen - and it has given me and my family an awful lot of trouble and expense. There is an address that genuinely deals with the AcaiBerry product. They are not taking the payments, but they do send out the product and accept the returns. The address is PO Box 13579, Unit 5 Mill Road Industrial Estate, Linlithgow, EH49 9AH. We have reported this to Avon and Somerset Police and the crime number is AS2009 0908/0271. Please report it to the police in your area. We need them to hear from as many victims as possible.
[04/12/2009] gemma burchill: i like many of you saw the free trial and thought id give it ago this morning i have now received another lot of acai berry detox capsules that i did not order and have been charged £82.95 to my credit card when i never asked for it im really angry that this company is being able to use your details to send you stuff without asking there address on the top of the invoice is po box 13579 linlithgow eh49 9ah united kingdom
[14/12/2009] Dude: Yo Peeps read with great intrest the comments on here and I Understand where Derrick Phillips is comeing from.......... I got this infomation from well... I dont know if it's accrute but I trust the source!!!!!!! maby Mr. Phillips could conferm if this address exist's.

[07/01/2010] Sarah Birch: Hello to everyone experiencing this promlem.I am going to share with you all my situation and some extra information on what is happening to yourselves.
I too signed up for a free trial only of the colon cleanse pill (the company deals with other pills) and payed for the shipment and then have also been debited £76.76 which i too was frustrated at. The most annoying thing is that i could find anything anywhere to contatc the company untill on this site i found an address of which i wrote a strongly worded letter to of which i have pasted below, this may help you as it jhas helped me. My current situation is that i have cancelled the subscribtions through phoning the comany and speaking very nicely, i have not managed to get a refund on the trial as the first large amount yo uwill have been chargedfor will have been because within 15 i did not contatc themto cancell so the "free" trial was then upted to a standered subscription hence the amount. I was more interested at stopping urther charges at this point so now that i believe I have done that I will now seek to try and geta refund. Here is the email response i got to the letter sent.
Dear Ms Birch
We just received your letter and, although we have nothing to do with the sale or supply of SUP*CLEANSECOLON or any other goods we do know what you are talking about and I will try to help you. Most importantly, I notice that you are up to the date for cancelling your order, so I am reacting to the urgency emailing this reply.
I am sorry to hear that you have been caught by this scam. We are victims of the same scam but on the other side of the problem. We formed the company, Trading Planet Ltd, and I am the sole director; but it was not formed for the purpose that the name is now being used. Trading Planet Ltd was only registered in August 2009 and, when I realised that the name was being used in this way, I reported the matter to the police. We are also in touch with Trading Standards, the Companies Investigation Branch (a government agency) and are doing what we can to help in the hope that they can stop this deceitful trade.
We have not taken your money; we are not involved in the business in any way at all. The scammers have used our address without our authority and put us in a very difficult position that is costing us a great deal of time and money and has damaged our reputation.
Before continuing my explanation I must give you some relevant contact points:
We have reported this to Avon & Somerset Police, and their contact number is 0845 456 7000. The Crime Number for this case is AS2009 0908/0271. I suggest that you actually report it to your local police and tell them this Crime Number, because the more police forces that get involved the more likely they are to give the matter priority.
The goods are sent out from a packaging company in Scotland and, whilst they are not the scammers, they are paid to package and deliver the goods and to receive any returns. The address to use is PO Box 13579, Linlithgow, EH49 9AH.
The people who are behind this scam run a website at <http://www.tradingplanetltd.com/> http://www.tradingplanetltd.com/ which claims to offer “customer service” and even lists a contact telephone number. A month ago, people were telling us they did not get much help there, but more recent reports suggest that it is worth phoning (in UK office hours) and they have obtained refunds. But we can also recommend the following information source...
We have discovered a website that lists the steps a previous victim used effectively to get her money back. Since the site started it has accumulated a lot of additional information. It is <http://www.tlcinvestigations.co.uk> http://www.tlcinvestigations.co.uk
This is an international fraud and the police tell me it is likely to take a long time to achieve a prosecution – if at all. They know the name of the people who seem to be behind it (you will find their details on the www.tlcinvestigations website) but they need to get them extradited before they can be prosecuted.
Some credit card companies have declined to help card holders on the basis that they accepted the Terms and Conditions on the scammers’ website. If those “Terms and Conditions” claimed to be in the name of Trading Planet Ltd they could not be valid, because they were never approved by the director of Trading Planet Ltd (me). However, the scam may have moved on now and be using different names.
We have heard that, when people cancel debiting instructions for a particular company name used by the scammers they simply bill it in another name. Some banks are being helpful, but others seem to be shrugging their shoulders at the problem. The most effective way to stop the transactions is to cancel your Credit Card and get a new one with an entirely new number.
We have heard that the scammers are now using other company names. They may have moved on from abusing us, but the problem continues.
PLEASE REPORT THIS TO THE POLICE AND TO ANY OTHER RELEVANT AUTHORITIES. We don’t think the authorities are taking this seriously enough and we hope that more complaints will cause them to take more action.
I wish you well.
Regards
Derrick Phillips
So as yo ucan see, the company we are all beeing scammed by are even trading from someone elses company. I am off to my local police station today to report this and give them the crime number of AS20090908/0271
I also believe that due to there being a huge amount of people trying to get refunds that they rescently changed there terms and conditions as on the TLC investigatiuons site there is a ladysstory on there who was able to get a refund within the 30 days but now unfortunatly it is 15 days.
I hope that someor any of this helps yo ugetyour own back at them.
Sarah

[24/08/2009] Maria: I have also got caught in this Trading Planet Ltd issue for Acai Berry Detox & Life Cleanse Tables. I have been lucky so far, and only charged for the trial, but have I have been trying to ring for days after I saw the 15 day time limit, then did google search for email or fax number (conveniently none) and saw this site.
I have just spoken to my bank, and they have cancelled the card as lost or stolen and so they cannot further charge anything.
I would suggest even if you get onto them, I would cancel the card to be on the safe side.

[16/08/2009] Lee: I also received my free order through the post last friday 14th Aug 2009,("brilliant" I said) and tried to research through google to read more about the company after that mavelously free stuff only to read the scam. I tried calling them but it was off office hours. I called my bank and they told me that a company called VITALITY based in Cyprus has debited £3.95 from my account. I know this being the shipping cost for the free consignment. I told my banker that I do not know anything abt that transaction so they just cancelled my card and have put a new card through the post to me and I was told that NO ONE or COMPANY including Trading Planet or VITLITY would be able to deduct any money from my account.
However I will try to call them on monday to effect the cancellation and if I am not successful in contacting them I would not mind much since I have been protected by my bank. You can do so as well.

These are run by scum and just want your money. I have done the same as you all but i'm hoping i had a lucky escape. I did the free trial, then read comments to read the terms and conditions and the next day i managed to get through and cancel my trial. I was'nt happy with that especially after reading more comments on these companies. So i played it safe and canceled my card, my bank informed me that any derect debits would just bounce so no money should leave my account. I hope you all manage to get your money back as this type of scam is just low and not fair on people who can't really afford it.

[21/08/2009] Rita: free phone no for Trading Planet and viv3lab ltd trading in Scotland
0808 238 9891 I@m sorry cant help out with E-mail address. I doubt they would answer anyway
[24/08/2009] Vivienne: Thanks, Andy, for your positive input! (I presume you mean "were dumb NOT to read..."??)
Anyway, ditto to all the above - caveat emptor, eh? I had to call the 'outside UK' number +442031399027,since I live outside the UK, and was given a cancellation number.(The phone numbers are on the top of your invoice, if you have one.) When I asked if she could send me an email to confirm the cancellation, I was told that she couldn't "send emails from here". Interesting. she suggested I call back another day and verify the cancellation.
I told her that I was concerned because there are many claims on the web regarding fraudulent transactions by this company and she said "well, it's not a fraudulent company and the account has been cancelled". Fingers crossed. BTW be aware that there appear to be several different companies, apparently, all making the same offer.
And a confirmation that there is no email address - like the respondent above, I emailed support@viv3 and got an automated response saying, you have to call us, basically.
Good luck everyone!

[24/08/2009] Steve: Hi
My wife has also been scammed and I would like to inform you of what appears to be the latest process to get a refund
In the same way that Sandra has been scammed, no 2nd samples have arrived, thank goodness and I have cancelled the order on her behalf and received a cancellation number and a refund request has been sent off by the girl I spoke to in the scottish call centre. The process now appears to be
1) The email address is automated but sends the automated response saying that "support is not offered by email and you must ring the number 0808 238 9891"
2) When I rang they asked for the account number, which we no longer have, don't be put off by this, I said they must have a record as they had shipped the free samples, the girl then asked for my wife's name and found our details.
3) I empathised a lot with the girl on the phone, whose name I have taken as well as logging the time of the call, as Sandra suggests it is not her fault and they are not part of the same company, so I suggested how awful it was that she was having to answer the phone to a lot of dis-satisfied customers, she agreed.
4) She then told me the order had been cancelled, gave me a cancellation number and advised she has requested a refund and that dept would be in touch within 72 hours by email. I look forward to that and will update when I hear more.
By the way, I was first alerted to this by a call from our credit card company's fraud department, with a call at 08.45am this morning, so they know something dodgy is going on. This was in reference to the transaction taking place at 21.00 last night (Sunday) - 16 days after the initial free sample being ordered
I am going to notify Citizens advice, trading standards, Office of Fair trading and the Police. The really sad part about this, apart from the poor people who have lost or will lose money (and that may be us yet!) is that many people will not want to trade with legitimate traders on the internet - Once bitten, Twice shy
Kind Regards
Steve
[26/08/2009] Julie: Hi Steve
I am sorry your wife has also been a victime of this scam. I hope you get your money back too. My bank didn't bother to contact me even though I thought it was suspicious two amounts going out with an exchange rate for £73.99. my statement didnt appear as trading planet as on the invoice. it appeared as vitality clean. although e-mails I have received have been from viv3.figure that out!!!
I received an e-mail this morning from viv3 who said this on Wednesday, 26 August, 2009 8:11 AM
Thank you very much for contacting our customer service at Viv3 Labs.
We would like to inform you that on 2009-07-31 you were charged for the shipping and handling cost on your free trial. The 15 days free trial starts from the day of the shipment of the order and implies that you have 15 days to test your order for free.
As stated in the terms and conditions of the purchase that you accepted during the purchase process, if you do not cancel your account during the 15 days trial period, you will be charged for the product separately and thus the free trial converts into a regular subscription. We confirm that on 2009-08-17 you were charged for the product for the amount of US$118.63 for each product.
We have now cancelled your account. This cancellation implies that our company will make no more charges and no more products will be shipped to you.

I rang them this afternoon to say although I had received an e-mail from them, There as no mention of the refund I had requested on monday. She said it had been passed through to the refund department and I should receive an e-mail about within 2-3 days. i stated that I had already waited that length of time and could I be put through to the refund department. She said this was not possible. Ok I said Do you have a number I can ring?. Again She said they have no number. I asked where they were based. She said in a differet building. I asked if they had the address to this building. She replied they did not. I said this was very strange, a refund department in a different building with no address and no phone number, how do you contact them. She said it was all done internally. I stated that I was in my rights to claim a refund being in the 30 days and not satisfied with the product. She said I would be contacted within 2-3 days and to check my spam e-mail as well. I then drafted this letter and e-mailed it to them
Dear sir/madam

from that e-mail I guess they don't want to refund me. I contacted my bank again and asked them to refund the money on my behalf as the company is refusing a refund. My bank are contacting me by post in 7-10 days. I will phone viv3 again tommorrow to let them know I have contacted my bank. I will not rest until I get this money back as I am a sessional worker and currently earning no money. I have 4 kids to support (along with my husband!) and school uniforms to buy. I will keep you posted. if anyone has nay advice what I should do next, let me know.
[26/08/2009] Julie: steve have you thought of contacting watchdog? i know I am
[30/08/2009] Susan: I ordered the acai berry and colon cleanser i have paid £3.62 each for them both only 2 just receive the acai berry i am still waiting 2 have my colon cleanser delivered and i ordered and paid for them both the same time!! I have send email 2 these people but have not had a reply!! I think i have been lucky out of reading everybody else's comments as i have a pre-paid master card and put money on it as i want something so no money will be taken out of mine thank god but its annoying because i am waiting for the colon cleanser for me 2 take with the acai berry .
[01/09/2009] Monica: I refer you to http://whichacaiberry.com which advises you avoid this product at all costs - SUSAN don't take it is my advice - I took it once and it gave me awful stomach ache - even Oprah is fighting against it . . . I am also one of the ones fighting to get my money back - act in haste - repent at leisure they say - it is definately the case for me this time around . . .
[05/09/2009] sue: CUSTOMER SERVICES UK TOLL FREE NUMBER FOR TRADING PLANET LTD - 08082389891. This line should be open 8am to 8pm mon to fri and 8am to 5pm on sat.
I phoned this number to cancel at 8.30am on a sat, got through straight away, was given a cancellation reference number and was asuured that I would not be charged for the free trial tablets that I had recieved even though i was outside of the 15 day trial. I will wait and see what happens, but at the moment, it all seems very easy! Worth giving this number a try if you need to contact them AS THEY DO ANSWER!
[08/09/2009] Steve Davis: I rang the following number on Sept 8th (0203 139 9027) - i think it's only a call centre - i gave my order number and was immediately given cancellation numbers for both products without even asking! I was assured that no further payments would be taken, but i will check with my bank to make sure! I suffered quite a bac reaction to one of these tablets, so i wouldnt recommend them!
[12/09/2009] K Dodd: I ordered a free trial of reservatrol from this company calling themselves viv3labs (but also seem to be trading as vitality clean amongst other names. I was only to pay 3.65 pounds for postage to a UK address (which was then forwarded by a family mamber to me living overseas). I am usually VERY careful with credit car details and in fact hardly ever use my card. I received my sample but then on 6th Aug and 21st Aug they took 11865 US dollars and 119.02 US Dollars with NO PERMISSION or agreement from me. Does anyone know their website as I have forgotten where I ordered the original free sample from. This company is MI-using my card and after talking to my bank to dispute the matter, I may have to cancel my credit card and get a new one. I am very angry about this. I did send them an email but it triggered an auto response saying they don't deal through emails. Now I have to wait until 8am GMT to phone them.
[13/09/2009] Julie: I persisted with this and at first they agreed to give me a refund. one refund of 11.63USD. I e-mailed them back and said as I had purchased 2 items, I was entitled to 2 refunds of 118.63USD. I then received an e-mail saying the money would be back in my account in 5 working days but could take as long as 15 working days. I received my refunds in less than 5 working days. I have lost about £8 due to the exchange rate being different on that day but hey £8 is better than losing £148. my advice to those still waiting DO NOT GIVE UP. be persistent and know your rights.
[13/09/2009] Julie: K dodd check your internet history and spam e-mail in case there is something there. I also had no idea which website I ordered from but after doing those things I found them luckily. i will be more careful in the future.
[21/09/2009] zoe : maybe if people actually read there t&c's then all this would not happen, you can contact these people as my friend called several times to check she would not be charged extra and was assured by an english person that this was all fine and given cancellation number which did correspond. this is mass hysteria caused by idiots who do not read the small print. ALWAYS READ THE SMALL PRINT.
[22/09/2009] ems: I ordered free trial yesterday for only acai berry dettox and did read T&C`s i then decided to look into them i called them 3 times and got all my queries dealt with i think the key is knowing what the deal is within the hour and i was luckly i got answered and questioned them about how silly i thought the 15 day free trial seemed when it takes ages to recieve and like anything you need time for your body to adjust to see if product is right i was making them look silly i said cancel it was not interested and did this witin 2 hrs of hitting the submit, i also researched found these sites re the scam and relised this is clever they get all people on the terms by law its not illegal its just poor service but with all this goin on im sure they will be under some pressure it should say FREE TRIAL SUBJECT TO TERMS AND CONS maybe then all yhese poor suckers inc me would hear alarm bells on my nxt call i QUESTIONED A FELLA about the poor publicity and scam review i told him bluntly that i have cancelled and ws ringing again to express my concerns and confirm cancellation number OCD behaviour has it benefits well i cancelled my debit card as lost anyways just in case promtly after my first call and reading blogs like this, even called today i spoke to different people each time got them to confirm my canelation number they knew i knew my rights no issues only paying 3.95 P&P
[22/09/2009] ems: called again today (OCD behaviour again)spoke to a women made her confirm the cancelation number due to my scam worries it matches eveytime, she assured as i did this within such a short time no charges and i probley wont recieve free trial as i was pending order due to such a early tipping them bollocks........ my advice to all you berrie lovers is OCD behaviour scares them they wnt mess with you they will just want you off their baks dont give up dont be to pleasent know your rights and nxt time READ THE GOD DAME TERMS AND CONS IF THEY DONT ANSWER REPORT CARDS AS LOST OR STOLEN TELL THE BANK OR CARD CO NOTHING OF YOUR IDIOT MISTAKE AND WITH ALL THE MONEY LOST THINK OF THAT TRIP TO BRAZIL TO EAT THW GOD DAME ACAI BERIES ORGANIC STYLIE XXXXXXXXXX LAUGH OR CRY YOUR ALIVE
[22/09/2009] ems: SORRY NUMBER TO CALL THAT ANSWERS 08082389891
[28/09/2009] Pip: I have phoned the company this morning and spoke to a lady who kept trying to put me on hold which I instructed her not to do as all I wanted was to cancel my trial. I got sucked into this yesterday but now have a cancellation number. I feel incredible foolish though. Please also be aware that the company sets up a rolling debit on your account and even if you cancel the card they can still credit the account as you 'agreed' to it when you took on the trial. I have now got to send a letter to my bank with all the details I can get my hands on so the company aren't able to take any further amounts. This is all very stressful and I am so annoyed with myself for getting sucked in.
[02/10/2009] Kylie: I got sucked in by the free trial today too. Then I had a question about the exchange rate and the monthly cost and thought I'd send an email to ask. I was horrified when I realised there was no e-mail address. I spent the rest of the day trying to find out how to contact them and getting stressed out on discovering all their shonky dealings. I had to wait until 4.30pm our time to ring 8am UK time and in the meantime I went to cancel my credit card. They said that all payments would take 45 days until the card was fully stopped, so Trading Planet Ltd could still get another payment from me. I pleaded my case and they listed the card as stolen due to the rip off company involved, so hopefully no charges will appear. I will be out of pocket for a new card, but hopefully that's all. When I rang the UK phone number 0011442031399027 (you need the overseas code when phoning from Australia) the call was put on hold for about 30 seconds. An Indian call guy took my request to cancel my two orders and I requested both cancellation numbers which I recorded on my original order confirmations. He assured me I was cancelled and said that I wouldn't get the product, to which I was thankful. I will have to wait and see what happens on my credit card statement, but if charged, the credit card company looks at the effort I have put in to cancel the request and should be ok. A very stressful way to spend a day off!! Hope others have success with their cancellations.
[03/10/2009] Gwen: I ordered Acai Berries on a free trial in August, giving my card number to pay for the postage and packing of £3.95. The product came with a bill for this from Trading Planet Ltd. Then a few days ago a second package came from a company called "HealthScience?". The bottle of Acai Berries was even different. Both the Bristol address and the Edinburgh address can be seen on the papers etc. I called to cancel and the lady said she was cancelling the order and would arrange a refund. I wait to see if anything will happen. In the meantime I have cancelled my credit card as I don't trust these people not to keep on charging me. I plan also to complain to various places, but it sounds as if the whole thing is based overseas.
By the way, I found the Acai Berries to be of no use to me, making no difference at all. I lost weight when I stopped using them...so not only are they ripping us off, they are also sending dodgy products. Very doubtful whether or not it is at all genuine.
[03/10/2009] Gwen: Following my last comment I found the website again for these people and realise that they are doing exactly what they say in the terms and conditions, which the customer ticks to agree to when making an order. The scam however is making you think there is something free (and risk free). Look at them at http://www.acai-cleanse-detox.com/
[22/10/2009] iz: After all the advertising and 'hype' about the 2 products, its honestly not worth the hassle of trying to connect, communicate or contact this company so that you can cancel your order from them. Its easy for them to connect to our credit and charge but not for us to get them. I am soooooooooooooooo hating this... and then there is no guarantee that they will delete my details from their database. I am still waiting for confirmation from this company of the cancellation of my order.
[26/10/2009] Kay: I have just also been ripped and am so annoyed. I have been trying to contact this worthless company but their line is dead. I am in the process of writing two letters to cancel my order.
[28/10/2009] Sue: Ditto the experience of all the others. I have returned the unwanted goods by recorded delivery and demanded money back but don't hold out much hope. I have taken the e.mail, address and phone number people have found on this site and I will be bombarding them with complaints.
Main thing is we must all complain long and loud the Trading Standards
I have been charged twice in quick succession by the time I got my statement so am really angry now.
[03/11/2009] Ellie: It happened to me too. Im gutted in the process of cancelling everything now. Hope to get all monies returned.
[05/11/2009] Ali D: Yeah, I've been had by these scammers and their 'free trial' too. Getting nowhere fast trying to sort it out!
[05/11/2009] Sasha: Hello all I hope this helps. I like you ordered them sunday then read the terms and conditions, they arrived today and you have to cancel within 14 days.
I got through on this number which is uk toll free 0808 238 9830

[11/11/2009] Sandra Friel: I requested 2 trial size packs of colon cleanse and acaiberry detox online at beginning of Oct and was charged £3.95 on my invoice from trading planet ltd when the products arrived although my account was charged £4.25 plus £1.50 surcharge for each. To my surprise I was billed 2 transactions of £74.49 from my debit card on 26th Oct last plus again 2 surcharge of £1.50. I have never received any products for this order. I never made an order. I called the company in bristol. The phone was put down on me 4 times. I went to police and reported it. My bank refuse to make a fraudulent claim as this company claims they made an agreement I never heard of. I was never made aware of any agreements with trading planet ltd. It is obvious this is a complete scam as they are not using the title trading planet on their transactions with the banks

[25/08/2009] A Sams: Update
Cancel your cards with the bank and advise that your card is lost otherwise they will not be able to cancel your cards as you did give the company authority to take funds from your account. if you have cancelled the order and then the funds are again taken from your card/account the only thing they will do is raise a merchant discrepency form for the company nad you will still not get your money back. if your card is lost/stolen no further transcations will be taken on the card and therefore you do not loose your money. Again report it to the trading standards website.

[02/09/2009] Leeze: I have read all your comments today as I received my 'Free Offer' I phoned the number on the invoice;- for UK 08082389830 For France 0800919459.
No email address available.
I spoke to a french man called Julian who canceled my future order and gave me a reference number.
Thanks to all who have taken the time to expose this nightmare.
[07/09/2009] Kim: The number you need is 0808 238 9830, I managed to get through this morning twice. I managed to cancel my order, but called again to check with another operator and asked them to confirm the account was closed and asked to tell me the cancellation reference number again to see if it matched the first one given. Good luck.
[01/10/2009] terri: I have just received more tablets myself and was horrified to see my bank account being deducted nearly £400 altogether. I am sick to the stomach and did not realise it had to be cancelled within 15 days as there were no visible t&cs when i ordered. I have called them on the number above and they assure me that i will receive an email within 3 working days to get areturn address for a refund, but they cannot say how much if any will be refunded to me. I feel totally robbed, and all they had to say was lesson learnt!!!!!!!!!

[04/11/2009] Anne: The phone number I contacted is their Bristol office on: 08082389830
I look forward to hearing how you got on. I managed to cancel my subscription (I think) but have not managed to have my money refunded.
[12/11/2009] jean stirling: UK Landline number for Trading Planet Ltd, 08082389830, good luck, I was conned by these rip of merchants as well, my credit card company will not refund my money as I did not read the terms and conditions.
[16/11/2009] Lisa: Hi, I also have just been conned by these people. Everything on the net looked real and I believed the 'FREE TRIAL'. i HAVE HAD OVER £300 TAKEN FROM ME AND ON MY STATEMENT THEY ARE ALL UNDER DIFF NAMES. i FEEL STUPID THAT I DON'T EVEN KNOW THE WEBSITE I ORDERD FROM, ONLY THAT THE PACKAGE THEY CAME IN SAID TRADING PLANET. i rang and cancelled but never got a cancellation num. I have closed down my bank account and set up an new one and my bank said I could get identity theft now. I am so upset. I have just had a baby and got sucked into the weight loss idea. This has come at such a bad time near Christmas and on maternity, i feel really stupid.
I want to contact watchdog to AND TRADING STANDARDS. i THINK WE SHOULD ALL PULL TOGETHER TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE STOPPED. Surely they cannot get away with this. I recieved no recipt of all this money and never was told this was the amount the tablets would cost. Infact I have looked up the tablets and they don't cost £77 which is the amount I have had taken from me 4 times.
[14/12/2009] gwen bowman: I too have been conned out of over £400 the same as you, I was away on holiday when they took the money and I sent the tablets back and they said on phone when I finally managed to get through that this does not mean I get my money back, if you go to he website www.tlcinvestigaions.co.uk they have all the information you need.
let me know how you get on.

[15/09/2009] Sandra: Hi there,
I also have a problem with the company as I recklessly ordered their free trial without reading the terms and conditions first. Luckily, I have read a lot negative comments on the net regarding the company. I tried to contact them but it was useless. My last resort was to cancel my debit card to avoid any further charges. I am still unsure whether this would get me out of their ways. Please keep us up to date with the results. Thanks!!
[09/10/2009] rick Faulkner: Hi,
You have to get a cancellation number via e-mail from them using the phone number they gave when they charged your card. In Canada, it is 416-900-1137. Then you phone, taking in consideration the office hours in UK, get the cancellation number, and the id of the person you are talking to. You should get a cancellation e-mail sent to you in a couple of days, but that is time for them to charge you again. Cancelling your card does not help as these charges are a contract obligation. Your card dispute department should be able to guide you. We have done all this, and are now waiting to see what happens.
[14/10/2009] J Carter: I am also caught in this scam also in Australia if you find out how to cancel (contact them) please publish!!!!! Thanks .

[04/09/2009] Donna Picano: Further to my claim/shame entry I have telephoned Trading Planet Ltd who have now given me two cancellation numbers over the telephone. The operator advised that there was an entry on there website advising that this was a 15 day free trial and any cancellation requests had to be made within this time. At know time did I see this entry on their website and it is hardly a free trial if you then get charged way over the odds for these pills.

The link above is for the Terms and Conditions which everyone should read before purchasing these products. They clearly state that you will continue to recieve this product after the 15 day trial unless you cancel before the trial period has ended. It also explains Refunds. I hope this helps.
[11/09/2009] Vicky: As per my previous comment, I have just contacted them on the following no. (0808 2389891) and was told that I could cancel my order straight away.

[27/10/2009] merle: I have also been ripped off by the acai berry detox, thinking that I was getting the free trial offer and only paying postage, on top of this massive financial loss the product does not work. when I phoned to cancel the rest of the order they put the phone down on me in the middle of the conversation and I have not been able to get them on the line since.
[10/11/2009] Stephen Bubb: I understand from Companies House and various other searches on the internet that Mr Phillips is or was a Director of this company.

Thanks,
[30/01/2010] Gerry Irvine: My 15 year old son has suffered the same-3 products, charge P & P then charged full price some 15days later-he only had sufficent funds to pay one! Mr Phillips I have spoke to his wife this morning (i genuinely believe she is legimate)is the sole director he set up the company, apparently the people requesting it refused to hand over their identification and commenced trading, everything leads a trail back to his home address, think he's been dupe along with the rest of us, police and trading standards are currently investigating-there are somewhere in the region of 83 internet sites where you can buy these type products all trading in the same manner (fraudulanty) Cancelling your card might not be suffice, i was advise by lloyds TSB, debit car query department that they can still take funds after the cards are cancelled-they dont know how they do it but they do-I would strongly advise anyone experiencing similar to cancel there ACCOUNT not the card IMMEDIATELY-this will continue

[30/09/2009] veronique: hi, i got the samething has you did, i got a charge of 133,79$ on my credit card from CTT +442033938389 SINGAPORE and i didn't order anything exept for the samples. Did you got any answers about what to do about that....
[30/09/2009] Marcel Voges: I checked my bank account this afternoon and noticed that I was charged two payments of £77.19 by CTT +442033938389 REF 268 2966242000 BCC (total of £154.38), for something I did not order or buy, although I did try the samples of their products but stated clearly that I only wanted to try it and not buy the product afterwards. How do I go about claiming this money back that has clearly been taken without my authorisation? I'm not very happy about this and if I do not hear anything from them very, VERY soon I will be taking this forward as fraud - unfortunately for them I work in the financial services industry and am quite proficient with recording fraudulent activities with the FCU.
I appreciate any help anyone can offer me.
Thank you.
[30/09/2009] Daniel: Just got stung by this as well, same company in singapore, felt foolish ordering the sample to begin with as I never even received it. Have now been hit by this charge, and am somewhat furious as I just cancelled my card fearing fraud, only to find out on this website that I fell victim to this dishonest company in singapore.
[09/10/2009] Kaya: Guys, i got the samething too, i checked my account few days ago and CTT +442033938389 Singapore SGP. I called my visa on the day i received the bill and cancelled my visa and have to get a new one all over again.

[30/09/2009] Andrea Shaw: If you are refering to a free trial for acai berry detox you are not alone, you need to contact them to cancel the order or they will continue to charge your account upto 3 times per month. I have to had the same problem today. have a look at viv3.com problem boards you can get all your information from their.
[30/09/2009] Bev: Ordered the so called "free trial" of acai berry detox & the life clense, paying just the shipping; did not sign up for anything else or authorise further payments. Took the product for approx 2.5 weeks but they did nothing! Today I looked at my bank statement online and note they have taken 4 x £77.19 (£308!!!!!!) from my bank account! ANGRY TO SAY THE LEAST as am single parent. Went straight to the bank; rang the card services up who have now stopped any further payments from being taken out of my account. They're going to send me a form to complete, have cancelled my card and looking into it as fraud (said it should take 6-10 days). Monies were paid to Singapore but the actual free products came from an Edinburgh postmark.
I have been reading so many cases of the same/similar and it looks as if many of us have fallen victim to this scam and can do nothing to get out money back. I am seriously contemplating reporting this to Watch Dog!
[30/09/2009] Bev: Having been caught by the Acai Berry & Life Clense scam, I have just come across a website offering help/advice, as they too got caught and they have got their money back! Well worth a try. Website is: http://www.tlcinvestigations.co.uk/viv3labs.html
[08/10/2009] Anette: Im from italy. I found the same number to my card. Fortunately it is a prepayed card. It s a fraud. Could enything be done?
[09/10/2009] lisa: i had the same problem have had 2 payments of 77.19 gone out of my bank account reference ctt it seems to have been converted from singapore us dollars, i have e-mailed trading planet as i think itmay be connected to them and have also told them i will contact a solicitor and get trading standards involved, can`t believe they have ripped off so many people.
[16/11/2009] Lisa: We should all report this to watch dog.Lets name and shame them on the tv. I have had £306 taken from me and I thought i was just getting the free trial. How can they get away with this? I keep being told that I signed up to this and agreed to their terms and conditions which foolishly I did not read. I have just been reading terms and conditions on all these other 'free' sights and yes it says we agree to have money taken but it does not say how much, surely they can get into trouble for misleading us. I never recieved a contract or a recipt of the money they took. Is this allowed? Please someone answer my questions and lets do something about this together properly. MYe- mail is lisahorrocks1@hotmail.co.uk I have been writing on these forums for the past few days and not recieved feedback, im not sure if I get an e-mail to alert me of feedback. Lisa

Claim title: Unauthorised amount taken
[14/10/2009] Amanda: Having now found out that a) I am not alone in falling for this scam and b) that there IS in fact some "small print" spelling out that they charge after 15 days if not cancelled I am still mightily fed up.
I've just tracked down the site I originally ordered through (acaiberryexclusive.com) and the small print is hidden in the "30 Day Money Back Guarantee", not in any T&Cs. If you try to open the T&Cs on the home page it takes you to the Privacy Policy - so there is actually no way you can see any T&Cs unles you go through the ordering process.
When you get to the ordering page where your card details are requested, the box for accepting the T&Cs is already ticked so can easily be missed. If you click the T&C link there it also takes you to the Privacy policy and not to any T&Cs.
The only place I can find any reference to the "cancel or else" clause is in the 30 day guarantee.
Incidentally, I entered made up details on the order page so that I could get to the payment page. The first time I did this the page was headed "AcaiBerry Exclusive". The second time I got "LifeCleanse and AcaiBerry Detox". The formatting of the page was different each time and the Company details at the bottom were different each time too (LB Watt Media Ltd and LB Cassiopeia Media Ltd).
So far from reading other people's complaints on this site I've seen reference to the following company names in this scam :
VIV3 (the name on my bottle)
FocusCleanse
Trading Planet (seems to be the "parent")
Face Factor (the name on my bank statement)
LB Watt Media
Health Science
Photocleanse
Wellappeal
CTT Singapore
Vivera
and now today LB Cassiopeia
So, Trading Planet is actively trading under a number of differnt names.
I emailed West Lothian Trading Standards (being the area coveing the Trading Planet/VIV3 address) and was told that the Linlithgow address is a postal address only and that the company is actually based in Barcelona. They suggest writing to the Linlithgow address as the letters get formwarded on.
The address is Unit 5 Mill Road Industrial Estate, Linlithgow, West Lothian, EH49 7QY.
Annoyingly I cannot find the Invoice/depatch note so I have no order number or customer number but I shall be writing and I will also continue trying to get through on the phone. I suspect my initial £76 will never be refunded but I'm determined they won't get another penny out of me.
Hope some of this helps - I'll post agin if I have any fresh news/info.
[23/10/2009] O Ward: Exactly the same happened to me on 19/10. Extremely hacked off with this as never recevied goods and certainly wouldnt have ordered at this price anyway.
[02/11/2009] rodstuart@xtra.co.nz: Me too. It does'nt make me feel any better to know I'm not alone in being
ripped off by these thieves. I'm still smarting and feeling stupid and poorer
by US$480. Trying to get Visa to reverse the payment but not holding my breath.
I wonder how long they have been operating and how many of us they have suckered in altogether. Anybody have an idea? Rod.
[07/11/2009] sherlockholmesmicrobiology: Great job indeed Amanda.
Let me join the club of people who have lost money due to this scam.
Is thre anyway to stop further payements made to Face Factor or whatever they are called?
Please help!
[25/11/2009] jean: not sure about Face Factor but LB Envision Net Worldwide Ltd, Trading Planet and Help Your Health all have the same phone numbers, try ringing and telling them you want to cancel ASAP. [03/03/2010] Sandra: Yep, I ordered my free trial in January, and then cancelled any further orders even before I had received the trial. Today my Bank Statement arrived and on 10th February money was taken from my bank. 20 days later no pills have arrived.
When I cancelled it I received an email from the Company acknowledging my email. I tried phoning the phone number given but with no success.
Now what do I do? I thought that I had covered everything because I had read where this had happened to others.
I sent another email as soon as I received my Bank Statement saying that I would go to Consumer Affairs as I had saved the emails.

If any one has delat with this company advise your bank ASAP they will keep taking money, cancel cards (this might not stop it) bank advised me that they dont know how they do it but cancelling card isnt necessarily enough of a deterant.
