A month after giving "clean smoke" my credit card info, I got charged $119.02 USD on Jan23/2010 for "PRO-BODY 866-407-5590 SINGAPORE"

Your Name:
The Last four digits of Visa Card:
Date of charge:
Product info (as appears on Visa statement): "PRO-BODY 866-407-5590 SINGAPORE"
The Cost:

Tell them you are canceling the subscription under your name, and that you did not request this subscription. State that you want a full refund, and tell them you will do what ever it takes to get that refund.

Keep your copy and send it to you financial institute if you still have problems. Pass this information on.

[02/02/2010] kristen: Just so you all know that this company is in relation to a free sample you might have purchased online, apparently there is something in the terms and conditions that states if you do not cancel the order within 15 days you will be charged for it. That is for people who continually are getting charged because you have yet to cancel it. I never saw these terms and my guess is there are quite undetectable because that is why they need to use another company so people cannot trace it back to the company in which you ordered the product. That is why you will never get this money back from the bank because technically they have a contract in which we all have agreed to. Here is there customer help line the real ones:

the same things happen also to me. In my VISA info, I got charged € 84,23 on Jan27/2010 for "PRO-BODY 866-407-5590 SINGAPORE"
I've just sent an e-mail like you, and I've just called the call center, so I've just had the confirm of my unsubscribe, but nothing about refund! The call center operator has just created a request of refund and give me a code of unsubscribe. They should call me again in the next days for the refund! I hope well...!!

[13/02/2010] Bev: I, too, have been scammed on this product and was charged $130. Thanks to all of you for the information on the process to cancel. I was assured there would be no refund as I had, supposedly, agreeded to the terms and conditions. Thanks again for taking the time to add this information to the Internet.

[19/02/2010] Carl: This is one major scam! I got done for $119 when I had no idea I was going to be paying for it (no terms and conditions disclosed in the payment process). Clean Smoke say on their website that refunds are possible 30 days after order is confirmed but I received the product 32 days after the order was made. Isn't that convenient! I have followed all the above measures, the first thing is cancelling the subscription, that's an absolute must as they will charge you based upon a monthly basis. I've also e-mailed clean smoke life themselves and made them aware of the problem. Some guy made a blog about the whole clean life product and t's and c's etc. not sure why but here's the link http://victorcaballero.com/free-trial-e-cigs/ as there may be some useful stuff on there. I've also sent a cheeky e-mail to watchdog!

[22/02/2010] Alison Thomas: I've never even subsribed to Smilekit but have been charged USD 119.02 then a further 2 chages of the same amount for Acaiberry and Colon Clense, what pisses me off is the fact I paid for the P&P of £3.99 for a free trial of this stuff and have never received any product and there are no conditions on the site I looked at and now I'm out of pocket to a scamming, fraudulent company in Singapore for £226.77. Its outrageous and disgusting and I will do whatever it takes to get my money returned.

With so many complaints you would think someone could get on to them.

I expect all to fall on deaf ears of course. Even though these pricks claim a 15 day free trail, I only received my package 12 days ago. Absolute scam & bastards have to be stopped. $10 purchase has cost me $400. Whose the dumb arse!
Company in question is LB CyberNet Entertainment in the Uk (ha whatever!). Pimping products such as Acai Berry Detox, Life Cleanse & Resvmax - buyer beware.

Last week I received the confirmation of my account unsubscribe, this morning I've received the box whit clean whiteproducts, but I prefer don't open it, because I've just received 2 e-mail from Customer Support (support2@globalcustomersupport.net),<<Your order has been refunded: Order ID...>> so maybe they refund me , but they don't know when the money will arrive on my credit card. I've to wait for 30 days. If they will refund me, I will resend them their products.

We too were ripped off by this scheme. My husband responded to a pop-up ad for Free trial of Acai Berry Detox and Colon cleanse - to be charged $2.50 for P&H only. If you read further into the terms and conditions (fineprint) it tells you that f you do not cancel within 15 days of order you will enter into a subscription and your credit card automatically charged. We were charged 119.02USD by 2 Singapore companies - PROBODY and SMILEKIT. Other prople have ordered clean-smoke or smile white.

To cancel your subscription - these are the correct numbers:

To Get a refund may be more difficult - I am still trying - but I just saw on the cleansmoke website (If you click on terms and conditions) that they offer a full refund (except P&H) If applied for within 30 days of original purchase.

[11/02/2010] Mr D.Deeley: I have today noticed that a company called....(PRO-BODY).... have taken £4.20 from my account. I went to see my bank and they told me that I must have ordered something like Acia on line and should have read the small print.
They said they will cancel this for me and I can carry on useing my card, but they will not repay this money to me...... The Acia was a free trial pay post only which came to £3.95 and was with a company called (L.B.CyberNet Entertainment Ltd)
Luckily for me I caught it before they could take more from my bank. Look up either of these names on line and you will see the complaints about them. I cant see why the police cant get involved and do something about this when everyone knows its a con.
Just to add...I tried to call the telephone number that was on my print-out for the Acia free trial only to find there is no such number.....(Surprise)!

Don't know if this will help, but it's worth a try.

I have my bank looking into this for me I will not stop until i get a refund. I did get a confirmation email from this company that they cancelled. Cancelled what I say? I didn't order anything.

[24/02/2010] karen: I too have just been ripped off by this company after paying for postage for free trial. I am taking it up with bank and need to change all my bank details. I phoned this company up and cancelled any further products as they are rubbish and dont do what the advertisement says. They need to be dealt with asap before more people get ripped off. The bank said I entered an agreement with them so they can not be done for fraud. But the bank are going to investigate.

[10/02/2010] june george: I was shocked to read on my latest bank statement (17.1.2010)that an amount for £73.00 plus £2.73(currency charges) had been taken from my account by an American company named Pro-Body. I had sent for a 'trial' of Colon Cleanse at a cost of £3.70, but within a day or two, this company had help themselves to over £75 for 60 capsules that do not do what they claim.
I intend to expose this scam to the appropriate authorities.

[13/02/2010] Steven Harrison United Kingdom: I ordered tooth whitener on the proviso that I only paid for carriage. The goods arrived 4 weeks later. Today (13th February 2010) I checked my online bank statement and to my horror 2 payments of £78:45P had been taken.I visited my local branch of Barclays Bank and spoke to the fraud department who informed me the company, Pro Body, were under investigation for fraud. I Stopped my debit card forthwith and will not renew it for the forseeable future. In this instance my bank (Barclays) have neen most helpful.

When I called the number listed on the bill I was told this was not one of their accounts & was advised to contact my financial instiution imediately. The banks fraud department then told me to destroy the card and they have sent me a new one with a different number. They are dealing with it now.

[15/03/2010] Noray: I was also taken in by this company Consumer "Advice UK / 7 Marketing" and I also parted with £300 for them to make a claim on my behalf. This has been going on since last Septhember. I have been trying to contact them without any success. I have just read the article about them and I went onto the Ministry of Justice web site and 7 Marketing is listed on there as being suspended!! I spoke to the solicitor who they were dealing with (Chatwins Solicitor) Allison Daniel on 01792224060 unfortunately she said I was not on her books but she was extremely helpful and said she was going to look into my claim for me. I did write a complaint letter to their complaint department but needless to say I had no response from them!!
