Claim title: Brokerage Fee
[03/08/2012] Angela Ferguson: I too have had this problem. I have also contacted my bank to try and retrieve my money back and they say that as I authorised the payment, there is nothing I can do. City Financial are also working with other compnaies, ie, Wentworth Finance and they too are defrauding people of their money. It's a sick trick that they are playing and I hope that they get caught.
[06/12/2010] leslie baker : hi i had the same done to me by the same company also trading as north financial on the same ind estatebut anyway if you look on face book you will find PETER BRICKLES THE SO CALLED OWNER AND HE IS ADVERTISING HIS BUISNESS ON THERE AS WELL I HAVE GOT THE SOUTH WALES POLICE PUTTING THERE COMPANY UNDER INVESTIGATION SO LETS HOPE THEY CLOSE THE MUPPETS DOWN
[24/06/2011] Jamie : I am also a victim of this scam which is very annoying and frustrating, what i hate the most is the fact that some silly little tramp on the other end of the phone think they are tough and speak to you anyway they want, Im past caring about the money Ive lost or time Ive wasted trying to sort this. Ive tried trading standards, my local trading standards, the FSA and my bank to have this matter resolved but no action is ever taken, so Im going to take matters in to my own hands and on Monday 4TH July Im going to drive down to their office and see how tough they are, quick enough to con us fellow brits out our hard earned cash and know that they are scamming us. Anybody wants to join me just leave me a comment.
[20/07/2011] Edward 8800: Received a text to say my loan had been accepted, trouble is I had not applied to them or ask anyone to broker for me? When I rang the and spoke to an advisor she said that when you put your details online anyone can use them so don’t use the internet, when I advised her that I was not stupid she said buy and put the phone down, rude, liars and need to be reported!

Claim title: Refund my money
[19/03/2011] Kirky: I recieved a text from City Finanial offering me a loan. I rang 0161 406 5911 and was offered £500 within about 5 minutes. It all seemed very proffessional at first and the advisor seemed pleasant and knowledgable. I paid the £65 fee as I was assured that my loan had been accepted and the funds would be in my account within 3-5 working days. The following day I was contacted by "Loan Organisers who were apparently my lenders. They said that as my credit was so bad no British company could offer me a loan (fair enough, I thought, my credit is shocking!) so to prove I could make the monthly repayments I would have to pay the first installment of £56 upfront by Money Gram to Mo Khalid in New Dheli. Alarm bells should have rung by now but I was so desperate for cash I borrowed the £56 and paid it. I was contacted an hour later by an Indian getleman (in the loosest possible sense of the word) who said my loan account wouldn't accept £500, only £650 and for that I would need to pay an extra £140. I told him exactly what I thought of his scam with a fair few expletives and he had the cheek to tell me the call was being recorded and I should watch my language. Ha! Both City Financial and Loan Organisers are fraudulant criminals and need shutting down and a good kick in the face to all their employees. I've contacted Trading Standards and am in the process of trying to claim my money back all though I don't hold out much hope. If you're looking for a loan don't go near them!!! Rant over.

Claim title: broker fee
[14/07/2011] Scott: After dealing with City Financial, who come across as a very genuine company I was bombarded with dodgy finance offers by the likes of 'Loans 4 you of London', 'Lenders UK' and several more. All involved the now infamous 'U-Kash' voucher and a very low apr typically about 6%. I was quoted repayments of £280 over 8 years for a £25000 loan. this would mean a profit by them of about £2000 over that time. No reputable company would quote figures like these. So be warned, if it looks to good to be true, it probably is and you should walk away.
[14/07/2011] Scott: Just thought that I would add this bit, I check my bank account every day online and since dealing with these people I have had various attempts to set up direct debits on my account including one for PPI for a loan that I do not have. As a result I have cancelled all cards relating to this account and have closed it. A lot of hassle I know, but it has taught me not to trust anything financial on the internet and certainly not to respond to random phone calls from either withheld/private or foreign numbers. To all of you out there, be suspicious and check out everybody before you part with any personal information. A genuine company won't mind if you do this.
