[14/07/2010] Tony Morrison: I signed up with loan centre. I sent an email to the email address on their website asking for a refund of the fee. The guy that dealt with it ended up finding me a loan from one of the companies they deal with.
I ended up taking the loan instead of going for the refund as I really needed the money. If you needed a loan in the first place it might be worth asking them to find you a product first as they helped me.
Hope this helps
[23/11/2010] jennifer gill: I also had £47 taken out of my account!I aim to get the bugger back

[05/07/2010] orwachick@gmail.com: Hi the same happened to me last week they took £47.50 out of my account i had to cancel my card and everything for my bank. I sent them numerous emails complaing and a few quite angry ones to say the least eventually 2 days later i had a phone call from them saying that if i put my complaints in a letter requesting i wanted to cancel my membership they would refund me in full. i have done this so now lets just wait and see if they stick to there word. My advice to you would be pput the pressure on them, i threatened solicitors, trading standards and watch dog and eventually got the reply.
Good luck regards LAura

[27/10/2010] Andy: I too have just been scammed. I have not taken a loan out with these people but did enquire about one. I have just had £66.95 taken out of my account.
I called a number which I found after searching the internet for advice who gave me what they claimed was loan centre numbert 0345 2579899 but it is not recognisable.
Please help.
[16/02/2011] Nicola: My partner has had the same problem with this company today. They have taken £74.95 out of his account today and he is still trying to get the money back.
He did not give his permission for them to take any money at all and when we emailed them all we got was an email saying, your request has been recieved and is being reviewed.
We have however found a phone number for this company which is 0844 567 9500.
This is a complete scam and a disgrace. They offer people help then totally rip them off. Please anyone looking for a loan DO NOT visit LOAN-CENTRE.NET.
[04/03/2011] Glen: Such a scam when people are struggling I too got 74.95 taken for apparently giving me the names of companies that were lenders but were actually another bunch of brokers misleading its a con and then credit saver took another 60 odd quid I don't even know who they are. Because of them my payday loan couldn't be paid and I am getting deeper and deeper into trouble. My friend also had exact same problem. Then Tom is mentioning service you didn't give any service just took all these peoples money.

Claim title: FUNDS TAKEN WITHOUT MY CONSENT
[05/12/2010] helpful info: same thing happened to me more or less, i was stung for £47.50. others have been stung for more! to get your money back you need to act fast. 1st of all cancel your card, im starting to read stories where people have had a refund and then a few weeks later they have been charged again. 2nd, send a cancellation letter, don’t bother with cancellation forms, send it in writing and recorded delivery (cost me about £1.15), signed, dated with a self addressed stamped envelope. send it to: Customer Service Department, Loan Centre, 46 Alexandra Street, Southend On Sea, Essex, SS1 1BJ. stating you want a full refund and termination of any 'membership' you may have. if you are within your 14 day cooling off period then you should have no problem, the money should take no longer than 10 days to reach you in accordance with trading standards. i have email addresses for them but all you get is automated responses so try not to read in to them. the address is tom@loan-centre.net. i did however receive an email confirming i was to receive my cheque within 5-7 working days through this email though and it didnt seem to be automated so someone must be reading them. hope this helps.
update: good news is I have received my money, so it is possible to get a refund. bad news is from start to finish it took me about 4 weeks to get the money into my account. i don’t see a way around this though.
update: best way to get a call back is to bombard them with emails. about 30 an hour should do it although im not recommending this action and hold no legal responsibility for such an action to be used.
