[05/04/2011] michelle: this has happened to me as well they have took 67 pound fr my bank i want it back

[06/04/2011] LAUREN HARTLEY: THIS HAPPEND TO ME I AM A YOUNG MUM AND NOW MY BANKS OVERDRAWN AND THEIR CHARGING ME I DONT NO WHAT TO DO I DONT NO HOW THEY GOT MY BANK DETAILS!!X

[11/04/2011] elizabeth elsey: they have done the same to me making me overdrawn i want the money refunding and theres no contact details

[13/04/2011] Michael Phillips: This happened to me also through a site called ezeloans.net , but payment was shown on my account to the company mentioned above , and it was for 74.75
I tried in vain to contact easyloans-cs but their website is totally shoddy and the contact form never worked. However, i emailed help@ezeloans.net explaining they had taken a so called membership fee ( which in case you didnt know , can have a recurring fee too ) and i wanted a refund.
Initially they replied saying all the details of the membership fee are shown clearly on the application page/s when inputting bank/card details. So i went through the process again using false information and found there is indeed information there but it is very vague on the main page and is made out to look like it is part of a loan deal. The only other mention is within the terms and conditions page , which at the end of the application form, you tick to state you have read.
NOW , for the vital bits .... Within the terms and conditions it does state:
4.1 A one off joining fee of no more than £74.85 is payable in most cases after you have had an average of 14 days membership and access to the site. If you have not cancelled/terminated your membership with us, you will be automatically charged by a direct charge to the debit/credit card authorised by the member with an ongoing membership fee of £8.89 which is payable monthly until such time as you decide to cancel your membership.
** hmmm ... note the words 'after 14 days membership' yet i was charged instantly !
So i put all the evidence together and emailed them back again, to which i finally got the following ...
4.2 Under the Financial Services (Distance Marketing) Regulations 2004 you have a right to cancel your application within 14 days of receiving these terms and conditions and receive a refund. If You wish to cancel your application, You must write to us confirming your request to cancel your application, either in writing to: Customer Services, Ezeloans.net, 88 Wood Street, London, EC2V 7RS.
Please include the following information:
REF - **/**
-Name
-Postal Address
-Membership Fee
-Email address used to register
On receipt of your signed refund request your refund will be processed, dispatched and returned to your account within 14 working days.
**** THERE IS A WAY - Tough one i know but you can persue them ffor your money back even if 14 days have expired , as they broke the terms and conditions in the first place in sec 4.1 stating they would take funds after 14 days of membership , NOT immediately.

PLEASE , anyone who has been ripped off by this company , please take a little time to email BBC Watchdog , lets get this case on there to stop others falling into the trap

Cheers

[15/04/2011] peter johnson: Has any one got a contact number for these people!!! same hear 67.70 taken out my account.

[21/04/2011] louise rigby: this company have taken 2 payments of 74.75 out of account on the same day i was then told via email to write a letter to them to cancel. i did this oveer a week ago and have heard nothing back i followed the e mail step by step i want my money back .

If anyone knows the address please let me know whether its a London address or Cardiff address. It real dont matter, I just need my money back as they took my £74.75 from my account and im on jobseeker..Guess how i feel now?, Please guys, i beg u to pass that address to me and you will see what good comes out of it.. Claim title: Easyloans-Cs.Co.Uk Cardiff - Stolen Money

[08/04/2011] Mick: A Good news update.
For all those who have been ripped off by these people, I have found out how to get my money back!

When the payment shows up on your bank statement as "Easyloans-cs.co.uk", it's actually "ezeloans.net"!!
I found this out after I recieved an auto response from the email I sent on easyloans-cs.co.uk website, from help@ezeloans.net!
I found these two paragraphs in their Terms & Conditions.

"4.1 A one off joining fee of no more than £74.85 is payable in most cases after you have had an average of 14 days membership and access to the site. 4.2 Under the Financial Services (Distance Marketing) Regulations 2004 you have a right to cancel your application within 14 days of receiving these terms and conditions and receive a refund. If You wish to cancel your application, You must write to us confirming your request to cancel your application, either in writing to: Customer Services, Ezeloans.net, 88 Wood Street, London, EC2V 7RS."

Below is a copy of the emails that I exchanged with them;

yes it does.
As you have stated.
"4.1 A one off joining fee of no more than £74.85 is payable in most cases after you have had an average of 14 days membership and access to the site."
I have not had 14 days access to your site, I cannot even log on, and also only 7 days have passed, in addition the money was taken from my account on the same day I 'browsed' various sites. Plus, as I mention under section 4.2 of your terms and conditions, I am fully entitled to cancel my membership and be refunded. Which is what I wish to do - end of story!

Mick Scott!

As you have contacted us with regards to Cancellation of your account we feel it is prudent to remind you of the following things.

Since we received your application we have worked hard to find you lenders who can provide the loan you requested. We have uploaded these loan products and lenders to your personal profile for you to review and complete. To view these you will need to log back into your personal profile at www.ezeloans.net/profile.aspx and complete the details they ask for and then you will be able to receive your credit agreement and loan. If the lenders are not suitable you need to let us know the reasons why so that we can source alternatives for you.

We have provided the services as set out in the terms and conditions. When you completed your application you confirmed you had read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions. The membership fee was clearly stated on the page into which you input your credit/debit card details and also clearly stated in the terms and conditions:

4.1 A one off joining fee of no more than £74.85 is payable in most cases after you have had an average of 14 days membership and access to the site. If you have not cancelled/terminated your membership with us, you will be automatically charged by a direct charge to the debit/credit card authorised by the member with an ongoing membership fee of £8.89 which is payable monthly until such time as you decide to cancel your membership.

I will cancel your monthly subscription with immediate effect and your on-going membership fee of £8.89 will not be collected. I will leave your personal profile active until the end of your current membership period and then turn it to an inactive status.

Kind Regards

The membership you have signed up to is designed to help you find the loan you need. We specialize in sourcing all types of loans from quick payday loans to long term consolidation loans that can clear all your debts and leave you with only one monthly repayment to make.
The great news is that you were accepted by several of the lenders we approached with your application. In order to complete your application and receive your loan funds you need to log back into your personal profile at www.ezeloans.net/profile.aspx
All you need to do is select your preferred lender from the list, complete any further details they ask for on their website and receive your credit agreement.
If you need me to email you your log-in details please let me know and I will send them over to you.

recieved a new email this morning;
"Ezeloans, Apr-08 10:10 (AZOST):
I can confrim that we have received your signed refund request; your refund will be processed, dispatched and returned to your account within 14 working days."

Long and short of it is this: Don't Give up!
If you have had this happen to you, as long as it is less then 14 days since the money was taken, write to them telling them you want to cancel your membership and want a full refend as stated in section 4.2 of their terms and conditions.

Make sure you send the letter via recorded delivery, then they can't say that they have never recieved it!

Hope this helps..
Mick!

[07/08/2011] Chris X: To get your money back from your bank do exactly as stated:- First get a Police Crime Number; by doing so you are merely dissociating yourself from the felon.

Your Crime Number is the imperative component of your case, especially if the charge was applied to your account holding one of the following cards Cash Card, Visa Debit, Solo, Switch etc.

The best thing to do in this regard is to "Deny Till You Die" that you ever submitted an application to easyloans-cs.co.uk even if you did or think you must have.

Deny till you die; I feel the necessity to stress upon this.

If the bank feels there is any doubt in there mind about the transaction well things will get messy for you. If you don't believe in what your saying then why should they.

The banks do not like taking the hit for unauthorized transactions.

Claim title: loan

[29/04/2011] ami jordan: please persevere with your complaint!
i got my money back today after reporting them to the financial ombudsman!!

the loan centre.net took £67.70 from my bank account without my permission on 31st march 2011.
After seeing the numerous complaints about them on this website and seeing that some people had got their money back I was encouraged to continue complaining and ignore their claims in response to my email complaints that i had agreed to give them this money as a 'membership fee'.
After being infuriated and reduced to tears by Natwest's refusal to admit that the loan centre.net stole my money, I reported them to the financial ombudsman in a quick phone call (0800 023 4567 if you're calling from a landline or 0300 123 9 123 from a mobile) and a few weeks later, after no further contact with theloancentre (they stopped responding after i mentioned the financial ombudsman...) I found the refunded money in my bank! hurrah!

I hope this encourages others to persevere. We can't let them get away with targeting vulnerable people and stealing their money.

the loan centre.net is a morally bankrupt company and hopefully one day will be financially bankrupt too!!

[28/11/2011] Jock: This lot took £74.75 out my account in April and after trying to be as pleasant as possible I stupidly eventually gave up. I let them off the hook. Incredibly I checked my bank account today and there is another withdrawl for, you guessed it £74.75, only this time under the guise of ccbill.co.uk. I don't believe in coincidence and seeing as they left me feeling like a mug the last time I have reported them to my bank and a fraud action is being taken against them. At least the first time I looked on their website, even if not authorising the disgusting fraudsters payment, but this time I haven't been near a pay day loan site since that day. I should report them to the police as well.

The back told me they cant stop the transaction, for reasons i am unknown and to ring trading standards if i cant get in touch. Ive sent easyloans-cs.co.uk an email but i really doubt i'll get a reply...

[01/05/2011] Garfield: Since making this post,my BANK has refunded the money. They have also reported this company to the police for fraud, and have put a block on any further attempts made by this company to pilfer our money.I strongly recommend anyone who has suffered at the hands of 'Easyloan' to speak to their bank, because hopefully if enough people report it,the police or the financial institutes might be able to stop other vunerable people being targeted.
