Claim title: Totally scammed

[24/08/2010] J: Beneficial Claims/Yes Loans/We Fight Any Claim all appear to be run by the same cowboys!! Beware!! Talk to trading standards. The more complaints they get about these companies maybe something will be done to stop them ripping people off. They are very quick to take money you didn't know was going to be taken and then very slow to repay what they owe you!!! I don't know how their sales people sleep at night preying on the vulnerable. Shocking!! One way to get through to them is to bombard them with emails - someone will soon call you back!! It's worked for some.

[03/06/2009] J cairns : Exactly the same happened to me i was allocated an adviser and told to always call his mobile number i called to cancel and they took £350 out of my account.
I was told the agent had left the company, i was allocated another agent to deal with my complaint for a refund and again before long this agent no longer worked for the company. I am now onto the financial ombudsman to see if they can help.

[03/06/2009] Karen Kiernan: The BBC would be interested in your experience - karen.kiernan@bbc.co.uk

[15/07/2009] noelia: has anyone got their money back,,

[08/09/2009] julie: these scum bag scam artists done same with me i was paying them £150 a month £25 was apparently for admin fees the rest was going to my two creditors( or so i thought) to date iv paid them £1200, how much have they paid my creditors £69 one payment SCUMBAGS.

[07/11/2009] Louise: Hi the same thing has happening to me. I have since emailed the financial ombudsman and bbc watchdog. Maybe you should do the same. If enough of us get together and complain we should hopefully get our money back.

[07/01/2010] RICHARD: Cant belive it this company has taken money from my account without being authorised. I didnt even contact them or give them my details, they got them from their sister company YES loans who never give me the loan anyway. They took the money a week before christmas i was gutted because i have 3 girls and a new born, it left us short and spoilt our christmas. When i eventually got through to them they couldnt understand why i was so angry and even tried to get me to take out a plan.My bank fraud department advised me to close my debit account and set up all my direct debits again with a new account because they cant cancel the type of payment the company have set up and they probably take more payments. Not just money they are messing with but peoples lives, its just unbelieveable but true.

[11/01/2010] kevin: 11.01.2010 kev: same hear started off with yes loans then money worries they took 200 out of my account i didnt sign any paper work and cancelled within 7 days and fobbed off that before being repaid there would have to be an investigation into my account phoned them today because i had'nt heard off them and told it was a cancellation request not a refund which i then told them that 1.4 on the terms and agreements i was entitled to a refund for cancelling within 14 days so i wrote them a letter and sent a email and informed them that legal action would be taken if i was,nt refunded. i may also drive down the offices as well. there should be laws against these companies ripping off us the public

[13/01/2010] HFletch: I too recently contacted Yes Loans and was told they had a loan for me. The next day it was recinded and I was passed onto Money Worries, who railroaded me into a debt management programme. I have now written to them to halt the process and ask for the £69.50 back. So far they haven't taken any money from my account for the rest of the fee and I am hoping I don't have to take it further - but watch this space. Incidently if anyone wants a debt management programme Gregory Pennington are more professional and cost less.

[14/03/2010] steve boyd smith :

why are the serious fraud squad not on this i cant believe this is going on to this degree it is blatant theft and fraud...i looking into it ....
as a whole we could bring these theiving bastards to their knees,,,

e mailme steveboydsmith@yahoo.co.uk lets get this ball rolling we can do this !!!

[20/05/2010] lee gawne: I am struggling to get a refund for £600 that was taken from my credit cards accounts and I am struggling to even get back into touch with them as I simply get passed from department to another Does anyone have the e.mail address or fax numbers?

[02/06/2010] Liam Mulligan: this company are leeches, the pits of scum and a complete jobs worth. i would have no sympathy seeing this company and any of the employees go bust. they are on a level with only cockroaches.

they obviously employ utter idiots seeing as they read off scripts. the woman i spoke to complete with the sounded like a moron. she had no clue and after stealing £300 from my mother had the nerve to keep selling this micky mouse company to her.

then she was introduced to the organ grinder once the monkey ran out of script, luke brewster. my word what a poor excuse for a human being this man is. believed he had every right to speak to a woman in the way he did. he honestly believes that what they are doing is right which shows what kind of "human-being" he is. this man would not be missed; a sick man with a huge ego.

i strongly advise anyone NOT to deal with this company. there are so many reliable companies who really do want to help you and this pack of wolves do not. they would steal from their own grandmother if it mean't another peice of silver in the trunk.

vile comapny with vile employess. any justice in this universe would see this company go bust and starve in the pits of liquidation.

[15/06/2010] Natalie: I have had the same thing with money worries, i contacted Yes loans and they agreed to the loan to help me out, so they took £69.50 and then passed me to money worries.
They didnt tell me what i was agreeing to, did not explain anything what so ever, then when i defaulted on my loan they decided that they could not help me after taking £360.00 of my money.
I have then cancelled within the 14 days. I was then told that i have to wait 30 working days to get my money back. I received a letter telling me that i would receive a full refund.
Now today is the 30th day and i called to find out what is happening only to be told that i have to wait for the advisor who got me into this mess to call me back and sign off the paperwork for me to get a refund. I have called him 5 times and still got no call back. so i am not holding my breath for this refund.

Im just not sure of who to contact next????

[12/10/2010] Trans: Hi everybody, yes loans did do the same for me, they took 69.50 pounds from my bank account without my authorysation, I gonna close my bank account because am afraid lose more. If somebody know the way what We can do with this sytuation, please, letm for Us know right of the bat !!!!

[07/03/2011] miranda.lewis: i went to yes loan because i need help with money for them to take money out my bank £69.70 to be told they will give me a loan in 5 to 7 days i did not get a loan so i phoned them to find out what was going on i waited over 20 mins i had to pay £5 in phone calls for them to hang up on me it has been two weeks now i stil have not had a loan i need help to get my mone back?

[28/03/2011] Chris: Hello people yes i've joined the the STUPID list by thinking this was a genuine company but you all know the out come, but have had a happy ending by getting onto my bank right away changed my card and got full refund from the bank because it was an unauthorised transaction top marks to HSBC who acted immediately,i hope you all have the same luck as me getting your money back and hope the scum involved with this scam get what they deserve

Claim title: 61066

[28/08/2009] david: Money Worries are a complete scam. Phoned for a loan and was given the hard sell sales pitch by a guy called Gareth. Instead of a loan he tried to talk me into a debt management plan. During conversation he took my bank details to verify who I was and to 'pass on to loan dept', he said! (as that was what I was really wanting). He asked about debts and then said if we decided on the debt management plan it would be £150 per month. I wasn't interested so just agreed that he could send me details out to get rid of him. When it came I had a quick look, there was paperwork to sign but as I wasn't interested I just left it. Been to bank today and guess what.. £150 down. I've just spoken to Money Worries and been told that I'd made a verbal agreement! I didn't at any point agree to anything. I was conned into giving bank details and I have now been told that I need to put it in writing to get money back. They have also stated that as i'm out of the 14 day cancellation period they will have to listen to telephone conversation as there system states a verbal agreement was made. After reading previous posts i'm not very optimistic about getting my money back, however I will persue it. I now have to change my bank account to ensure that next payment doesn't come out. I cannot believe that this company can get away with this and I feel I should be going to the police as to me it's just theft. They have taken my money without any consent.

Claim title: Fraud

[09/11/2009] Louise: Hi I have recently had a bad experience with money worries too. I have since contacted the financial ombudsman, wrote a letter of complaint to money worries and also the bbc. If I have any luck getting my money back I will keep you posted.
I have also closed my bank account because money worries were just taking money whenever they pleased without my permission. Maybe you should do the same.

[11/12/2009] goz: Hi there I too have ripped off by this company Money worries. They taked me into set up a debt consolidation plan or should I say they as good as promised to loan me 3,000 pounds. upon researching the company and speaking to other companies who have had dealings with them in the past I then learned that they were nothing of the lending sort. I emailed the advisor Karl lewis 4 times who never got me and when he did then told me that I should write a letter to get this back. Guess what, never happened and still out of pocket. When they finally aswered my calls they then sais I was out of my cooling off period. TOTAL RIPOFF. I have since been in touch with the Guardian Newpaper, whom have heard of numerous people they have ripped off. PEOPLE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY MONEY WORRIES LTD THEY WILL RIPP YOU OFF.

[29/03/2010] shell: Hey, I only came across this website today. I spent nearly a year trying to get my initial payment of £450 back from moneyworries and luckily with the involvement of the Financial Ombudsman and Trading Standards, I got a cheque for the amount. I tried phoning, emailing, faxing and every way you could imagine to get in touch and they never replied which I think was their downfall. Keep a hold of every call, letter and email you send and forward it with your complaint. I am with the CCCS now and they couldn't be more different, all my money now goes to the debt and not lining someone elses pockets.
S x

[24/08/2010] J: Beneficial Claims/Yes Loans/We Fight Any Claim all appear to be run by the same cowboys!! Beware!! Talk to trading standards. Shocking!!

[20/08/2010] smith: same here we were passed on to Beneficial claims via Yes Loans beneficial took £11.800 off me over 9 months and never did anything for me dispite repeated writen requests for a refund they say they have passed my money onto there sister company called We Fight Any claims who deal with ppi claims but this company have never writen to me to expain why after 3 months now i have had no correspondence regarding this. also my advisor at beneficial put me in touch with money worries who have took £1.600 off me to set up a debt management program but now ive got a charging order on my property due to the the fact that they had not dealt with the creditor under the plan and again dispite several writen and verbal requests for a statement so i no which creditors are happy with the arrangements and who are not...in fact ive recently had more court papers through which i sent them but proberely gona get shelved like everything else you send them. IT IS MY OPINION THAT YES LOANS -BENEFICIAL CLAIMS- WE FIGHT ANY CLAIMS-& MONEY WORRIES ARE ALL WORKING IN A SYNDICATE... I HAVE ALSO BEEN GETTING LETTERS AND PHONE CALLS FROM ANOTHER COMPANY CALLED DEBT SOLUTIONS I WONDER IF THATS ALSO CONNECTED.DO NOT TOUCH ANY OF THESE COMPANIES THEY WILL FLEECE YOU. ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY THAT DIRECT TELEPHONE NUMBER THEY GIVE YOU IN THE BEGINING TO GAIN YOUR TRUST... EITHER GETS CHANGED OR YOU CAN NEVER GET THROUGH AND YOUR LETTERS OF COMPLAINT WILL BE IGNORED.. IVE INCURRED COURT CHARGES OF &669 AND OUT OF POCKET BY £11.800 SO STAY AWAY.

[21/04/2010] Claire: I have also had the misfortune of dealing with Beneficial Claims, as my details were passed on to them by Yes Loans. After feeling pressured into it, I gave them a £50 deposit, but then decided to cancel. I did this within the time period they set out and asked for my refund back. I spoke to a very rude and argumentative bloke who said he was a supervisor (turns out he wasn't!!) and that he didnt know the procedure for a refund because no-one has asked for a refund before (can u believe it??) Anyway, after approx 20 of him trying to persuade me to carry on, he gave up and told me to write in to ask for my refund, which I did. This was on 22/02/10 and am still waiting for it now. They are in breach of contract and they know it, they just dont seem to care. I am planning to contact the financial ombudsman regarding this company, as I have already spoken to them regarding another company. Give them the consumer license number and they will contact the company for you. They give the company 8 weeks from when you made the original complaint or request for a refund and if you have not received any correspondance then they will take it further!
Hope this helps - and good luck!

Claim title: Money taken without consent

[21/09/2010] Mrs. M: I have experienced the same with Beneficial claim which name is trading with we fight any claim and they took 1190 from my credit card. I went to money on-line claim which is small court to claim what is due for me. I have known the site from certain people that made a complaints to we fight any claim as well so I tried that. I just put a complaints so I don't know what will going to happened but according to some person who tried it the company refunded their money. might as well try it.

[21/09/2010] Mrs. M: I don't know why these peoples existed they were heartless, hearthstone and no conscience.

Claim title: FINALLY Got Refund!!

[26/09/2010] DMK: AND...in addition to above, their "final response" to made complaint (which I only got by the way due to FOS contacting them and making them send it to me) was a complete JOKE!!! Said they received my complaint on 9 Sept 2010 but I had a letter from them acknowleging receipt of complaint on 30 June 2010!!! Also said I was outside cooling period but would refund as a good will gesture pfffst - again - I cancelled under 1.4 of their T&C 5 days after initial conversation (sent letter via recorded delivery along with the complaint they acknowledged receipt of above). As I said before - company is dreadful!!!! I get the impression they are flooded with refund requests and are now "fighting fires" ie only replying to letters and refunding when authorities like FOS step in. Tading Standards would need to shut them down and tell them to get all their refunds SORTED!!! AVOID AVOID AVOID this company and if you've been caught out - contact Financial ombudsman because they pay no attention to letters from customers - only the Ombudsman.
