On the 6th January 2009 i returned to Sit up tv a faulty camera- as advised i sent it by P.O. Special Delivery - after waiting a month i had not been re-imbersed for the faulty item, I therefore rang the customer services who asked for the "session number" from the receipt issued by the P.O.- because i did not have it to hand i could not give it- i was asked to find it and ring back. This i did and spoke to another customer service lady. On giving her the relevant number she told me that the item had not yet been received into the warehouse!! i then asked where it could be and what was the procedure for items such as this, i was told that I should contact the P.O. and track the item. I also did this and printed off a copy of the signed document that was proof the item had been received by Sit-up-tv. I sent a covering letter enclosing a copy of the proof of delivery and asked if this incident could be investigated. This letter was sent by Recorded Delivery on the 6th February 2009. I waited another month without hearing anything. I wrote again re-iterating my complaint. That letter was dated 28th February 2009, and again was sent by Recorded Delivery on the 2nd March 2009. To date I have heard nothing. I have had to replace the item and used my Credit Card to make the purchase.(because i was waiting for a refund that should have taken care of the new purchase)now after all this time I am incurring interest on my credit card because of the long delay in securing my refund- plus all the extra postage it is costing me due to their inefficiency. All i want is my money back plus additional costs that i have incurred.
