I parked my car in Park Court, off Park Road, Uxbridge UB8 one night. It was very dark in there and there were a lot of cars parked there, there was only one space left, which was near the entrance. I didn't block the entrance. This was around 11pm. I returned at around 3.30 am, my car was gone. Someone else who also parked there, their car was also gone. We knew we had been towed. We started looking around for signs and found one on the wall adjacent to where I was parked. The sign had very small writing and wasn't clear. My eyes are not that bad yet, but someone with glasses etc, would struggle to see the writing during the day, let alone at night. Anyway this was early hours of Sunday morning and the sign said release times were only between mon-fri during office hours, so I was effectively stranded and had very little money to get home, transport at that time was hard to come by, was 20 miles away from home. So they charge you storage charge no matter what plus you have to take the day off just to go down there, JOKE! Collection of vehicle is by appointment only, so if you're late due to getting lost, you have to rebook, which mean being charged an extra days storage. Furthermore unlike council or police, this firm only accepts cash, will be finding out from HMRC if they're up to date with their taxes as it seems a bit odd. Another point the charge is excessive, its not seen as reasonable, so in-turn its theft as most people won't be able to pay and turn on their cars. I thought Clamping and Tow-ing on private land was being outlawed in England now? Frontline Parking, beware, I haven't even started with you yet. When I'm done your company will be placing security on public TOILETS!
