I clicked a link on Facebook for this company I did not recieve any items through the post but Really had forgotten about it as it was only for £2.95 so did not think it was a great loss of money.
On November 17th when i checked my bank online I noticed a payment had been taken for £56.09. This left me overdrawn with bank charges the payment went to the company below:
Novapay-OL87729235 Hong Kong HK
This is what shows on my statement,My card was cancelled and i had to wait a week for a new one , I also reported it to the fraud squad in my Bank who have now told me that it is a dispute between me and the company and there is nothing that they can do.There is no way at all of contacting the company,I still recieve emails of this company but a noreply address

[07/02/2011] JENNIFER DAVIES: MY BANK WAS MORE HELPFUL THAN YOURS , THEY TELEPHONED THE UK NUMBER AND TOLD A MAN NAMED FRANK TO REFUND MY MONEY WITHIN 7 DAYS OR THEIR FRAUD DEPT. WOULD INVESTIGATE THEM, MY MONEY WAS REFUNDED IN 5 DAYS .DO NOT GIVE UP ,I PHONED THEM MANY TIMES BEFORE MY BANK INTERVENED .THEY ARE UNSCRUPULOUS SCAMMERS PREYING ON VULNERABLE PEOPLE.
[17/02/2011] Ann: I too fell for scam before Christmas requested refund and reported to my bank who promised to investigate and follow up, however the refund arrived before the bank took any action....I thought that was the incident finished but now 2 months later £81.48 deducted from my account by MYCATALOG PHOENIX AZ....so I have now cancelled my cards and again the bank are going to investigate so beware even though you think you have resolved a problem the scam may involve multiple addresses ...what a pain!!!! good luck to all
