I just noticed that aswell as myloan.co.uk taking £69.99,the company CREDIT CONFIDENTIAL had also taken £9.95 out of my account.When I phoned and queried them they said that when I signed up to myloan.co.uk (WHICH I NEVER DID!!) I also invoked a credit report from them.I'd never visited either of those sites.
So if youve been ripped of by myloan.co.uk - check you haven't been also ripped off by CREDIT CONFIDENTIAL!! Does this ever end???

[24/05/2012] Guy Graham: Credit Confidential used their underhand sales tactics to do this to me via Myloan. I was refunded the full £60 by Myloan but although I called CC the 1st time I noticed this unauthorised £9.95 payment 1 month ago, they failed to refund that payment and stop a future payment that was taken today. When I disputed this with my bank they told me a previous further £9.95 was taken in March, which CC failed to mention to me (although admittedly I missed it on my statement).
I called CC today, they said they had no record of my previous call and took my various phone nos to check their records, however they stated no record of cancellation would mean they were within rights to take the money. I have no faith in such dishonest company, so will now incur further bank charges as they took me over my OD limit. Has anyone had any redress from this co, or should I go straight to OFT, Watchdog etc?
