[13/06/2012] Sandra King: Have just gone through completely the same situation. Applied for a loan for £250, they took £49.95 from my account and then I found out that the companies they recommended could not provide a loan for under £500 and even then I needed a guarantor, which is completely useless to me!! Despite phoning their office and writing to them on 3 and 23 May, they have never responded. I am livid and so have today referred them to the Financial Ombudsman Service!! Companies should not be able to do this to people and keep on getting away with it!!!
