I received a text saying i should ring the number 0906 400 1820 and i was given a reference number to qoute,i rang them as i believed they are loan lenders and i was told the phone cost £1,50 per min and will get refunded for that as long as i was using my contract phone.I was put on hold for 15 minutes the guy on the phone was asking my details and pretended as if the system is slow,and i asked him how will i get refunded he gave me the address to post my mobile bill to which is non-existing to me,i feel like i have been ripped off and this company CFD they are a scam!!!Only to check my phone bill and it was £36 for 15 minutes have contacted them they told me they have no idea who am i and have never rang their number even though i gave them my date of birth and address!!!WARNING...NO ONE SHOULD RING THEM THEY ARE CROOKS!!!

I work within the customer service department at CFD.
The text you received was from a 3rd party company who promote our services.
At the beginning of every premium rate telephone call we always state we are a finance broker and what the cost of the call will be ( we never state we are a lender).
Pleased e-mail a copy of your telephone bill showing our call charges with a copy of the front cover with the bill payers name and address to customer services, I will then deal with this complaint immediately.
