We came back from holiday (28/06/2012) to find a letter from a solicitors on behalf of BMW stating that the car we bought from NB Cars belongs to BMW and was let on hire purchase to a previous owner. When we travelled 5 hours to pick up the car NB Cars (Neel Shah) stated that he would send the car documents to us in the post as he could not find them. It is now 29/06/2012 and we had to sort out our own V5C and log book as Neel Shah failed to send them to us - looking back, it is now obvious that the seller(NB Cars) knew that the car that they were selling was on hire purchase.

We now live in fear that the car we have spent a lot of money on will be taken off of us, and we will be left with a huge amount of debt for nothing - or we will have to spend money in court trying to retrieve it. This is a very stressful time for us, and we would like to have a settlement with the seller. Ideally we would like to keep the car, but this sale has been hell for us and we would just like it sorted so that we can relax again.
