I bought a jacket as a present, this was mentioned at the time to the owner of the business as I paid for it. I took off the price label  as it was a gift. The jacket was to small and I took it back to exchange it for the bigger size.The owner would not do this as the price tag was off despite the fact I had a receipt. I have since found out he is within his rights as the price tag was off but I felt he should have pointed this out at the time or purchase as it is not a commonly know point. Any other shop I have been to has never insisted on the price tag being on. I felt he was unreasonable with such an expensive item returned within 14 days.
