Letters were stolen by a member of Royal Mail staff in 2004
These letters contained cheques valued at £208 which are now out of date so I vannot cash them
Royal Mail say they will not compensate me for the loss because 'under section 28 of The Postal Services Act 200 the service we provide is not contractural' which means the staff can pinch what they choose and Royal Mail has no control over them - or responsibility for theft by their staff - SHAMEFUL !! BEWARE you could lose valuables to thieving postal workers and no chance of getting any recompense for their actions

[14/03/2010] Bruce Kain: They are thieving bastards, i wouldn't trust them with anything of value, i had a mobile phone stolen. Write to this guy and tell him what you think ....
