Dazzlewhite/Dazzlesmile Rip Off »29/08/09yes03/10/20091

Ordered trial with a shipping charge  of $1.95  0n 29/08/09. Tried to cancel order within half an hour of ordering but they wouldn't allow it. Told me to send it back within 14 days and no further charges would be made. They charged my account £9.95 for shipping and although the package was returned unopened by recorded delivery the same day it , they have just taken a further £31.69 and £1 handling charges on 1/10/09 under the name of Wellbhealth. Have been treated appallingly by their on line customer service staff and I will take this matter further to ensure I get all my money back and this company is taken to the cleaners for the scams they are pulling on innocent working people.

This compnay and product are scams!!  They do not make it clear that they are going to automatically charge you 87.62 for the pen that you order.  They make it sound like you are getting a pen for about 3.00 including shipping.  When you try to tell them that you have not used the product and want to send it back, they say it's past the 14 days .  I did not get the product in time to use it.  I know they are operating "with-in the law" and if people fall victim to them, so what?  They will ocntinue to rip people off 87.62 at a time.  They will get rich by misleading hard working honest people.  When will the government or some organization put a stop to these unethical business practices?

on 14th october 2009 i requested a free trial of dazzle smile at $1.95 shipping which i was happy to pay. i read the small print afterwards, i cancelled my order and account on 17th october 2009 and sent the product back via recorded delivery, i then telephoned them a couple of days later to see if they had received it which they had. to my surprise on 2nd november 2009 i went to the bank and noticed they had taken a futher £91 altoghether. i followed there small print and it stated that if the order was returned and the account was cancelled within the 15 days trial period i wouldnt be charged. i did so but they still helped tere self to my money which wasnt authorized. i had to close my bank account. i have called them several times and had live chats with the support team, they said they would refund me but havent yet. i am still trying.

refuse to refund returned product »November 2, 2009no20/11/20091

On 10/13/09 I was online and this tooth whitening product came up and I decided to get it for my son.  They called and asked if I wanted another product and I said no and that I needed to cancell what I already had.  I called back the number they called from immediately to cancel the whitening pen and they said o.k. it's cancelled not explaining to me that i had to return the product.  On 11/4/09 I returned the product via certified mail with insurance and tracking number.  It was accepted by their company 11/05/09 at 4:24 p.m.. They now say it it non-refundable because it wasn't sorted until 11/16/09.  All this time I kept calling and they kept saying they would look into it and they even, when I asked for their corporate nunber gave me a bogus fax number.  I called back and they gave me the Army Post Distribution address and when I googled it I came to this site.

Continuing Charges & Hidden Cost »11/11/09no21/11/20091

I recently agreed to a delivery of a teeth whitening sample (small pen)which would be $2.50 - then charged $12.00 including delivery which was fine.

I was then charged an additional $94.45 after the apparent 14 day trial as they hadn't heard from me. After calling the company I was told this was the remaining cost of the small pen (free sample) I had agreed to. Because they hadn't heard if I was satisfied or not this was the actual cost of the product - further cost NOT mentioned online when the free sample was agreed to.

Only 5 days after that further charge was taken out of my credit account ANOTHER $94.77 was then charged. Which was an apparent ongoing product delivery. The major problem is I have never received any more than the initial small pen which I agreed to at a total of $12.00! In total I have now been charged $189.22 by Dazzle Smile and only have the inital free sample pen!!

Free Trial Scam »05/12/2009no07/12/20091
I bought my free trial teeth whitening from Dazzlesmile and fell for their advertising trick of $1.95 and paid £11.98 for shipping and handling cost from US. Free trial was received after 16 days of ordering. To my utter amazement when I received my bank statements I had been charged 2 payments of £54 by a company called Pristnhlth. Called my bank and asked them to stop this company taking payments from my debit account. They have told me that many people have been scammed by this company. I seriously advise people to contact their banks or credit card companies and stop the payments or cancel their cards. My bank has already told me that the money that has already been taken from the account cannot not be disputed by them. Innocent people should not be duped into these so called advertising gimmicks. Health Warning: Stay away from this company at all cost as they are a bunch of charlatans.

Scam »11-11-2009no09/12/20091
I purchased an order for Dazzle smile whitening toothpaste in which it is a complete scam. It said it would cost $2.99 in which I entered my bank details and submitted the requested, then a message appeared once the details had gone through to say that $87.00 would come out my account every 4 weeks as a direct debit. I immediately called the contact centre in the USA to cancel this subscription as this payment was not authorised, they said that due to the order going through that I would have to pay $87.00 on 25-11-09 in which the payment came out my account on 08-12-2009. So the total I have had to pay in english money is 64.29 in which I beleive is a complete scam. I am very angry that no print was available to read before the order was purchased and after reading reviews so many people have been affected. I wonder if I can claim this back?

Refund for cancelled free trial offer and cancellation of ongoing charges »Start 11 November 2009rno09/12/20091

I respondedto an advert popsted on the web for teeth whitener - a free 60 day trial. However having found that my teeth were sensitive I did not start the trial. I asked for the trial to end and I received an invoice (undated) for the free sample plus $11.90 charge for Shipping & Hanling. This charege was a surprise as nowhere did it state that one would bew made. However if the matter stopped there then so be it. However, to my amazement on 11 November 2009 a withdrawal from my bank account of £53.84 was made to "pristinehlth" and on 8 December 2009 a withdrawal of £14.98 was made to "SUP*WORLDFIT". From other reports I have read, both of these companies are linked to "Dazzle Smile and my experience does not appear to be unique. On contacting the company on about 11 November 2009 I was advised that the account would be cancelled and I did receive a "No reply" e-mail from them and I was given the impression that if supplies had not be delivered then I assumed I could have a refund. This has not happened todate and I get this new deduction which I undedrstand may belong to an associated health club for which (a) I did not sign up for and (b) i would not want to travel from UK to the States to take part. I am very unhappy about the transaction and I have been unable to get through on their published telephone number. My Bank seems to be powerless to stop deductions as the company has mmy debit card details and by using a different name on the second unauthorised withdrawalmaybe they have circumvented any stop put on this company but this is pure conjecture. All my bank (the Coop) wouls say was thay had had a number of similar complaint about this company and its associates. My impression was however that as I had given the company my debit card number - (which I do often when I buy on line) then there seems to be little that they can do at present. TYhe sales practices of these linked companies arfe not of the highest order and they need to mend their ways - but who is going to do it? I can't..

UPDATE I've got my money back!!!!!

It is now 30 January 2010. Co-op Bank has now refunded all my payments which eventually totalled £81.10. The sting in the tail of their letter to me was that the Dazzle Smile & associates bank had 60 days to appeal. So I am not out of the woods yet. However as I did not receive any goods I am cautiously confident that my refund will be upheld. Watch this space in 60 days time.

BE WARNED

On the subject of "Continuous debits" as my bank and no doubt other banks call it, once you have given a  company your debit/credit cards details, you are at their mercy. This facility, whist useful, should be used with great care. In this day and age with internet transactions on the increase it is questionable as to whether the procedure should be continued. Standing orders and direct debits keep the control of your money in your hands. This reduces the possibility of enthuisiastic companies taking out cash ad lib.

BE CAREFUL
