My mother bought s kitchen from this company and as with other comments had major problems. Normally she would check out companies she deals with bt did not do this on this occassion.Parts missing on the original delivery which held up the fitter from getting on with the build. She had to wait 3 weeks for missing units.Meanwhile my mother who is 70 has no cooking facilities. All the units have no predrilled holes for shelves, doors hinges,or drawers, good job she has an excellent fitter(her own source)who knew how to cope with this. Customer Services are a joke and frankly unprofesional. Buyer Beware- go to Wickes or B&Q for a cheap kitchen. atillathehundog

i ordered two kitchens.The company phoned and told me they would be delivery and.iI arranged a delivery date.  they said they would accept bankers draft and cash.  Fortunately I only gave £120.00 deposit.  The day came for delivery and I phoned the company and they said that they had a fire and they would get back to me. They never did and when I phoned them they said they would phone me baIck with an answer they never did and the manager refuses to speak to me at all .  I firmly believe that they had no intentiion of ever delivering my kitchens.I very conveniently a fire that destroyed 75% of their stock. I personallyt believe that the warehouse was empty.  That they never had the stock in the first place.  This is clearly fraud. If you check their web site you will see that there are numerous erous complaints about this company.

Here is a copy of the email I sent to this joke of a company which trades under the name, Rock Solid Kitchens. I have given £2,600 to a delivery driver who made a hasty exit once the cash was in his pocket and left me with boxes of complete rubbish - any hlep would be greatly appreciated.

"Dear Sirs

DEMAND FOR FULL REFUND !

A kitchen arrived on sunday after ordering one throu gh one of your sales reps who visited our home. Due to your appauling phone handling team who either promise to call back and don't or simply leave the phone ringing without an answer, I have been forced to demand a refund via email through your website. Please send my full refund and arrange immediate collection of this very dissapointing kitchen from my home: XXXX

I have a number of complaints regarding service, quality, mis-representation and advertsing using mis-leading statements. Firstly, upon delivery our granite tiles, larder units and larder doors did not arrive. They were promised the next day (Monday 1st) and it is now Thursday 4th and stll nothing despite 38 phone calls to your offices.

Secondly, the pelmit, the plinth, the doors and the units are all totally differnt colours. Thirdly, you steate very clearly yupon your website and through your sales people that teh kitchens are 'real wood' that is comp lete nonsense. The doors that arrives are indeed real wood but the base units, drawer units and side panels arec all very very poor quality laminated chipboard.

Everything that arrived was scratched and or dirty. We paid for a solid hard wood kitchen and did not receive one - this is disgusting.

Next, 3 lengths of granite turned up - all 3 are different thicknesses. Again this is appauling as no-one could possibly fit granite which is different thicknesses.

Your service level is probably the worst I have ever come across. You rarely pick up the phone regardless of the time of day the call is made. You never call back after promising that you will and the phone is engaged, more often than not. It is a joke. We proceed. The boxes state 'light oak' but the items actually inside the boxes vary from pale ash to cherry. How on earth can you honestly expect someone to have a multi-coloured kitchen in their home.

Overall, the quality of your product and level of service is simply te rrible. I am amazed that trading standards have not paid you a visit or closed you down. I look forward to someone coming to collect the items from us and for the full refund that will arrive very very soon. We have been mis-sold and you have mis-represented yourselves greatly and provided us with somthing that is not only incomplete but is damaged and incorrect."

Kitchen ordered in May 08 and £200 cash deposit paid, delivery date agreed July 08. On reciept of kitchen in July 08 wrong and missing parts discovered. Told by RSK customer service dept to e-mail list of all missing parts, this was done and wrong parts sent on three separate occasions. The customer service phone number has been removed and the only way to contact them is by e-mail, I have sent 5 or more emails with no response, it has now been over 3 months and I am still missing parts and unable to contact a manager or senior member of the service team for help. On the web site there is number for customer care, when you ring this number you are told that it is the advertising dept and they cant help. I have also written a letter to what I think is the Owner of the company, I can only pressium that I was given a bogus address as I have recieved no reply. This company should have a complaints procedure when there has been a breech of contract but know one wants to know. I am at my wits end and dont know what to do to get my kitchen finished!

we purchased a kitchen from rock solid kitchens on the 11th december 2008 and were missing several units,we are still waiting for the rest.I have phoned on several occasions but got no correspondance back from them then i emailed but have still heard nothing back.We have paid for these units but they dont seem bothered that we havnt got what we have paid for i wish i hadnt used the company now and will check companys like this out more thorough in the future.I don t know what to do next.

WHEN DELIVERED SERVERAL ITEMS WERE MISSING, CONTACTED THE COMPANY VIA THE PHONE NUMBER ON THE ORDER FORM TO GET A RECORDED MESSAGE SAYING THE ONLY ACCEPT E MAILS OR FAXES. SENT EMAIL ON THE 7TH AND THE 10TH OF THIS MONTH AND HEARD NOTHING SO I AM NOW STUCK WITH THREE QUARTERS OF A KITCHEN MANY OF ITEMS ARE DAMAGED..

Bought kitchen off rock solid kitchens for £1,557.they sent kitchen but there were parts missing,that is when we got problems.you cannot contact them by phone, only e-mail or fax which they totally ignore.I have been sending e-mails for four weeks now and they have still not replied to any of them.Took case up with trading standards,but i am waiting for them to answer my calls.

I ordered my kitchen on the 3rd feb 2009 i received delivery on the 3rd march with a lot of the components missing. I paid an initial deposit of £200 by cheque and the rest by bankers draft and cash when the kitchen arrived. Since i have had the kitchen i have contacted the company by phone at least 20 times and refer me to customer services that i think do not exist. I have also sent over 100 emails and at least a dozen faxes. I have now sent a recorded letter to them and also involving trading standards. The opinion i get about this company is that they will shortfall you so as to get your money, then once you have parted with it, no matter how many attempts you make to contact their supposed customer services, they have as a company no further interest in making and further dealings with you. Unless of course you wish to make further purchases. Before dealing with this company, make a 180 degree turn and walk the other way. The more people that you pass this information onto the less dealings they will receive.

Kitchens Direct Offered me ready built units and soft closing door for

£100 extra which I agreed to. I received and was fitted from flat pack

no soft closing doors.The cooker hood was dented. the fitters spoke

no English so I couldn't complain to them. I have emailed at least 7 times. rang countless times and they said they would deal with it

I have also posted two letters, one addressed to the managing director

I have received no answer at all. This morning one of the doors

fell off as hinges were broken. I think I deserve some compensation

This company has put the phone down on me several times as they are unable to answere my questions and stating its not their problem that the kitchen is incomplete.

First of all they sent the wrong units for the kitchen in january after i took a day off work for the delivery. This was in the begining of January

After two weeks another lot was sent and then paid for, only to find out when the boxes were opened by my own fitters broken bits were inside.

I called up straight away on the customer service number given on the website only to be told they are not customer services. I explaind my problem and they said i would have to send an e-mail. I asked to speak to a manager but apparently she was out (miss Kelly Jones). I spent money on fitters who were unable to start on the kitchen as units were broken. i sent the e-mail thinking that i would get a response within a few days but nothing. After a week i called up the same number as before and they said it can take up to 21 days to reply. So three weeks later i recieve a call saying that the bits would be delivered and that the was a balance of 70 pounds was outstanding. I recived the rest of the kitchen only to realise the units i recieved were broken and chipped.

I again tried to call them but they said it has to be done through e-mail.

Once again i send an e-mail and this time no reply no phone call. I called up the number as before and didn't even state my name or order number. I explaind my situation and they again tried to fob me off with the e-mail. i replied that its been over 21 days and i have had no reply. They then saind not thier problem and put the phone down on me.

I again called and soon as they realised who they were talking to put the phone down.

I then got my parter to call up on the same number and told her to ask for kelly jones. The woman on the end of the line said that my partner had got through to customer service and Kelly jones isn't in that section. My partner replied "ok so if i'm through to customer service u can answer my questions about the kitchen" RSK said"ok". once that RSK realised they couldn't answer, my partner was told she was in the call centre not customer service. When my partner said why did they say they were customer service the phone got put down again.

Ive paid money for a kitchen and almost 4 months later nothing.

This company shold not be allowed to continuously rip people off, they are providing incomplete kitchens, they do not take calls and when you email, fax or send a registered letter they do not respond at.  I am left with half a kitchen, 6 missing wall unit doors, no plinths, two missing base units and doors no drawer fronts, no drawers at all, i can't get through to them, i think everyone who is dissatidfied with the treatment we have received from Rock Solid Kitchens should bring them to court, contact trading standards/watchdog, take pictures!! 

This company have no respect for consumers whatsoever and totally unprofessional.

Having a sales rep from Rock Solid Kitchens call at my home, was a big mistake. First they gave us a very good price for my kitchen which included granite work tops, myself and my partner were very interested but said we would think about it and let them know the next day. Then came the preasure.! The price we had been quoted was so cheap because if we could give a £200 deposit on this day it saves on the cost of returning so this good price was only valid for this day only. I said we not got any money at the moment, but more preasure, so i offered a cheque but this company doesn't except cheques? so foolishly we withdrew £200 from our visa card and payed them our deposit in cash. After getting our money the rep got us to sign a form and then left. Reading the terms on the back of the contract alarmed us straight away "Guaranteed to have parts missing or damaged". So we looked on the internet for this company and were met with complaint after complaint. The next day we sent a letter recorded delivery cancelling our order using the 7 day cooling off period and asking for our money back but like everyone else no reply. Maybe we lucky to have ONLY lost £200!!
