refund »16/12/201218/01/20122
I was rung on the 16th December by a very plausible salesman called Ben who told me that I was definately owed money by my bank.So I paid £358.98p up front.
At no time was I told that there was a 2 week cooling off period, nor did I receive an e mail from them explainig everything despite ringig two or threetimes to remind them.
I heard from my bank and they do not owe me any money. I rang lifestyle claims and told them that there was no money owed, so no claim to chase and I wanted my money back. According to them because i had missed the two week deadline I was not entitled to any sort of refund but, they would follow one claim through. They do not seem to understand that there is NO claim against the bank. All they go on about is the two week deadline I have missed, even though I was not told about it.
They do not reply to e mails and i have had the phone put down on me numerous times.
I WANT MY MONEY BACK!
I am now, if i havn't heard from them by tomorrow going to start legal action

up front fee claim back »june20/07/20121
June 2011 fell for the sales pitch of lifestyle claims & I forked out upfront fee for 5 PPi claims,I was told that this advance fee was refundable once all the ppi claims had been claimed. The months passd & they had 4 sucsessfull claims & I had no problem getting my money from the ppi refunds..My problem now is I want my upfront fee refunded,as ive being paying interest on my credit card for over a year since i put this fee on it.I did get a refund reference number from lifestyle & i had to fill the form in send it back to them.I phoned them to see if they had recieved the form & they said yes its being processed & a cheque will be with me very soon. Its been nearly 2 months now & im still waiting.I phoned them on 9th July,I was told they are waiting for the owner to sign the cheque!!..I gave them an ultimatum by 13th july if i dont get my money i will be seeking legal advice. And whats made the matter worse,is my father died 2 weeks ago & we needed the cash to help with funeral costs.I even sent them an email to tell them this...I want my money, its not yours!

I was called by a man saying I could be entitle to a ppi claim on my credit card or handling fees on my card gave same long story anyway. I agreed thinking I would get money as I had done on a previous loan from a diff company so I had no reason to believe this company were bad in anyway!! I paid the upfront fee and told my claim could take up to 12weeks. I've been calling them hundreds of times leaving messages rarely someone gets back to me to then say we're still waiting on the bank! Another time was told yes you are entitled to something can't tell you the amount were waiting for bank to agree you'll know in a few weeks. It's now middle of October obviously longer than the stated 12week period now no one is answering my calls or answer messages. I've googled the company and I'm not the only one in this situation but I'm struggling to pay my credit card at the min so I want my refund as they have not delivered me the service that I've paid an extortionate amount for! I need help and advice as what to do. Thanks

Lifestyle rip off »Oct 201218/10/20120
I've just spoken to the Ministry of Justice re this company on 0845 450 6858.
This company handed their licence to trade in 2 weeks ago and are no longer trading.
If you are owed money by this company contact the MOJ and they will offer guidance.
They were very helpful with me and advised that if I paid by Credit card (which thankfully I did)I may well get my money back.
Never again will I deal with a company that requires up front fees!
Hope this helps all those who have been caught out.

Refund of upfront charges »july 201224/10/20120
I have been waiting for a refund of these funds for over 12 weeks. I have been ringing them with no reply for twelve days now. I have also been trying to email them for my charges refund.
I have now started to resort to reporting this to trading standards and the CAB. Today I have rang the Police for advice.
Why should it take so long to get my money back.

I am in the same boat as most of you, lifestyle claims told me that i had ppi and took a sum of £359.98 to proceed with 5 claims, this was back in dec2011. they continued and took another £2399.92 from my credit card account, which i have been trying desperatly to get back for some time now. Today however fri 9 nov 2012 i rang them yet again as i had not heard or received anything from them, only to be told from someone at the end of the phone that i was now speaking to a different company and that lifestyle claims has gone into administration.
this new company told me that they will pursue any ppi and that lifestyle claims admin should refund my £2759.90. Will i ever see my money again. I just dont know what do do next the stress is making me ill

I was contacted by you on the 19th September 2011 with regards to claiming PPI; I agreed to your terms and have done everything that you have asked. I initially paid you £719.96 to complete this on my behalf; on the 29th September you took 6 x payments of £599.98 = £2’999.90
When i contacted you about this I was told the money was taken to be used on your voucher scheme, Which was supposed to take twelve weeks and as each individual claim was settled a payment of £ 599.98 would be refunded, this has not happened. I was also told that any interest occurred would be refunded, later to be told that I was misled by one of your managers.

I have phoned your department on numerous occasions and have being given various excuses, your voucher scheme line does not work, all enquires have to go through your 0844 669 333 line. I have been told to phone Ultimate Law who you claim are dealing with my claim they have no knowledge and state that they have returned all paper work to you

I put your fees on a credit card which has cost me more in interest than I have received in various settlements that you have obtained.

I believe that you are in breach of contract and have not provided the service that you initially promised. I would grateful if someone can look into this as at present I have paid you a total of £ 3’719.86.

Every time I speak to anyone with regards’ to my situation you send me another set of forms to fill in for settlements that I have previously received can someone sought this out asap
