Unable to contact company re undelivered goods - Success! »30 August 201128/09/201110
I placed this order on 30 August 2011 and my account was immediated debited. Delivery was supposed to be two to three days but three weeks later it had still not arrived. I sent numerous emails and received a few automatic replies saying that someone would come back to me. The telephone number in their terms & conditions just rings out to a fax machine or computer terminal. In the end I contacted Trading Standards who gave me a reference number and told me to write to the company by registered post (normal postage plus £0.77 to track and see signature) giving them one week to refund or deliver goods. I added that I had contacted Trading Standards and the reference number in my letter. I also contacted Sage Pay (who had taken the payment) and they asked for the reference number on my confirmation email. The goods arrived within a week of my registered letter being delivered. No explanation for delay. But a result! I would never, ever deal with this company again. (Thank you for giving people an opportunity to share complaints and highlight poor customer service 'canyoutrustthem.com'

Unauthorised withdrawal of funds from bank account »11 January 201106/02/20116
11 January 2011: followed link from Facebook for a trial sized collagen serum. Cost was £4.99 plus p&p. Paid by debit card. No confirmation upon completion of transaction & no confirmation email. Without contact details, I had no way of contacting the company (who I discovered later are called anti-agingstore.com) to find out if my order had gone through.

13 Jan: withdrawal of £9.95 from my bank account by cml*procollagen.com. No product received.

30 Jan: checked bank account online, saw withdrawal of £96.35 from my bank account taken on 27 Jan by cml*procollagen.com. Immediately phoned bank who gave me contact telephone number which appeared by transactions. Product had still not been received by me.

I phoned the 0845 number as the withdrawal of £96.35 had not been authorised by me and I knew I had been cheated. I spoke to 'Stephen'. It was only then I realised the company was really based in the USA and not the UK. They use a UK distribution centre based in Middlesex,

Was told refund would be made once product returned. Informed them product had not been received. They sent me 2 emails (first contact I'd ever had from them) – one confirming the cancellation of product the second giving return instructions. The email was from service@anti-agingstore.com.

31 January: the product arrived. The address label gives 14 Jan as the day it was dispatched. This is a printed dispatch label, not a post office stamp. I kept a photocopy of the label before returning the product. I also photocopied the dispatch note which claimed that 2 'pieces' and a catalogue were in the parcel. Only 1 bottle of serum and no catalogue were in the parcel. I noted this on the dispatch note before including it in the parcel to be returned.

1 February: I returned product to the Middlesex distribution centre by tracking post & emailed company to tell them the product had been returned unused and that I expected a refund in full. I did not receive any reply from them.

I checked post office tracking and found the product had been received by the Middlesex distribution centre on 3 February. Still no communication.

At time of order: the link to the T&Cs page brought up an error page ie the link was broken (checked it again today – what do you know, it's still broken). When you check the T&Cs which are found in teeny writing right at the bottom of the 'trial offers' page (see http://uk.anti-agingstore.com/aastrial/) it says you get a 14-day trial after which, if not satisfied, you can send it back (even if EMPTY) within 30 days and you will NEVER BE BILLED. You would just be responsible for the p&p. As they withdrew the £96.35 just a fortnight after my order, these words are untrue.

My bank advise me that I cannot start a complaints procedure until 30 days have lapsed. Meantime, this company have my money. On the cancellation email, it says that returns can take 3-4 weeks to process – how strange then that it takes them only 17 days to WITHDRAW a total of £106.30 from my bank account.

On advice from my Bank, I did a google search and discovered that others world-wide have complained about anti-agingstore.com and the stories are duplicate to mine.

We must stop the anti-agingstore continuing to sucker unsuspecting women into this dreadful way.

I hope you can help!

Unauthorised payments for 'free trial' products »December/Jan 201203/01/20126
Ordered 2 x creams at postage and packing costs and was offered free sample of eye cream.
Postage and packing was 5.99 per item. First payment came out of my bank during Christmas holidays for £74.99 - I emailed them but no response. 2nd payment £79.99 on New years eve and third payment (for free eye cream sample) on 2nd January. All whilst banks were closed and I had no access to details on my account.
I have since cancelled my ' subscription' which I did not take in the first place. Am absoluately disgusted. Cream is ineffective and certainly not worth £200+
There is nothing on the offer page to indicate that such amounts are payable

No way to cancel product! »29th July 201029/07/20104

I am trying in vain to cancel a product purchased from My True White Kit (has a 10 day trial period from when order placed, disregarding delivery time!) However, I cannot get through on any of the tel. no. they have listed on their website to make the cancellation. Unless I cancel, they will collect $87.47 after 10 days, keep sending me the product and keep charging me accordingly. I am appalled that there is no way to contact these people, not one single tel no works, and there is no e-mail which is contrary to what they state in their terms and conditions.

Shampoo Shop rip-off »27/09/1127/09/20113
Having ordered a Paul Mitchell product from the Shampoo Shop on the 27/08/11, I was assured my product would be with me within 5 days.

I have chased and chased and chased and chased. No one has replied to my emails, my online support tickets and surprisingly once you actually find a phone number for them, no one answers.

This is disgusting and although only a small amount for me to lose, I am sure there must be others who have lost considerably more.

Requested refund of money taken from bank account without authorisation »10/01/201217/01/20123

I sent for samples of products on 28th december and two amounts of £2.95 and 97p were taken from my bank account to cover the costs. I then noticed on my bank statement that a further £74.95 had been taken from my bank account on 10th january without my knowledge or concent and I have received nor signed up for further products. I have had to close my bank account for fear of further amounts being removed. this is nothing short of theft. I have spent a full day on the phone trying to speak to a "support person" only to be left hanging listening to a male voice repeating that my call is important to them and annoying music. I have sent two quite strong emails also and have received a reply telling me that due to high demand it may take a while for them to get around to dealing with my enquiry. In other words I have no hope of it being resolved as these are quite clearly con artists and thieves and should be thourely ashamed of themselves. It has not only cost me a large sum of money , which I cannot afford to be without but a whole load of grief having to set up a new bank account.

Refund of unautherised payment taken from my bank account »10/01/201215/02/20123
On 26th December 2011 i ordered free samples of perfect radiance and revitaderm for the price of shipping costs only. One of £2.95 and a second for 97p which was taken from my account on 28th dec 2011.On the 10th january 2012 i discovered that a further £74.95 had been taken from my bank account without my knowledge or consent. i then went online and discovered that this had happened to an abundance of people who unfortunately had not noticed until some had lost three such amounts or more. I like a lot of other people had to close my bank account to avoid further amounts being stolen. My bank told me that it couldnt be classed as fraud and couldnt refund the money as i had given this company my bank details and had to take it up with them!!! i did give them my bank details but only authorised the shipping payments for what was clearly advertised as a free trial.I tried calling and got no reply. I tried emailing and finally got a reply informing of an apparant 14 day trial and if not cancelled the full payments for the products would be taken. This was most definately not explained in the ad and was clearly a scam, however, what are we to do now as there doesnt seem to be a way of getting this money back?? There has to be some kind of law or something that protects innocent and trusting people from these scammers?!I have since tried to get back on the site to get a print out of the original ad to prove that they did not explain their so called terms but was unable to and I am assuming that its because of all the complaints that they are now unobtainable and no longer in business. Please can you help me and anyone else who asks for it.

Feel such a fool having just had over £200 deducted from my bank for my 'free trial'. Have emailed the companys thanks to email addresses posted on this site & will wait for their reply. Threatened them with trading standards as advised here too. Only consolation is that unfortunately I am not the only one to have been scammed

Update 10.02.12. Just thought I'd tell you that I have received a full refund after threatening them with police for fraudelent claims/sales!!  Good luck to everyone else

..... 15 - 45 Days For A Refund!! »29/11/1006/12/20102
I purchased a pair of ghd's from this website
http://www.ghdstraightenerscheap.co.uk/
for my daughter as a birthday present because
i thought i was getting a bargain price, the website seemed
to be very reliable but i didnt check the delivery time for the item.
after i paid for it, i checked in how many days they would deliever
the straightners but there deliever time was 5-7 working days which was too long
because her birthday was on the 1st of december. so i cancelled the order straight away.
The company then emailed my back saying that they have cancelled my order, i then replied and asked
them after how many days they will give me a refund and they said 15- 45 working days!!! bloody hell
it takes seconds to take a payment from somebody but 15 to 45 working days to repay it!!
I then sent them another reply telling them to send me a refund as soon as possible and they didnt reply.....
I then purchased a pair of straightners from the official GHD website and did a webiste checker to see if
http://www.ghdstraightenerscheap.co.uk/ were selling fake ghds and it turned out that they arent even registered.
So this company needs a realy good grilling!!

I placed an order for Paul Mitchell products totalling £108.44 on 11th May 2011. The Shampoo Shop debited my bank account the next day and emailed me to confirm the order. Having not heard anything further from them 10 days later I emailed them to state my dissatisfaction with the service and demanding to know the status of my order. (I had encountered some difficulties with this service on 2 previous occasions which were resolved through emails). The Shampoo Shop have failed to even acknowledge receipt of my email and I have sent several more over recent days with no response. The phone number can be found embedded amongst the Terms and Conditions page but if you phone it it rings with no response. A shockingly sloppy service which is in breach of consumers rights!

Refund »October 201119/10/20112
My wife who is 84 yrs.old ordered a trial bottle of ReliftXS.As she is rather aged she didn't read the small print. It said it was a "No Risk Trial". She got her trial bottle but soon afterwards a parcel arrived at the Post Office which I am sure contains More ReliftXS.This would cost us £125.49p including the customs duty. I refused to accept it from the Post Office and they will return it to "Shipping Dept. PO Box 9300,Jersey City,NJ07303-9908" I only hope ReliftXS's conscience strikes them and they refund the money involved as we can ill afford it as we are both pensioners. I won't hold my breath. They should make it much plainer what the consequences will be if you order a trial bottle. Refund the money and all will be forgiven.

I recently sent away for a sample size of PERFECT RADIANCE
and REVITA DERM and paid £2.95 for each product.
Much to my dismay £74.44 has been taken from my account
Having looked into it
The terms and conditions state that £74.44 will be taken out of account for future supplies if not cancelled in 12 days.
Now the money has been taken out I expect my supplies which have not appeared. There seems to be
a confusion as how to contact the company.
Please warn people of this scam!
