Never book with this company - Scam »28.02.1306/03/20131
This company are an absolute joke - do not book with them.

Firstly, they will only give you a retest if you fail on minors only. Which means that you will have to have failed on 16 minors, generally its fair to say if you fail with that many minors, there will be a major involved... that is of course if you ever actually get a test.

My sister booked her test through this company based on the fact that you could get the retests and this was appealing, as soon as I found out she had done this I researched the company and its rules and cancelled the booking within 7 days by email (and post) as per their T&C's.. No confirmation of cancellation ever arrived nor a refund.

I then agreed that I would pay for her test through the official website and once she had claimed her money back from the bank, she would repay me. So we booked and confirmed a test through the DSA... still with no correspondence from book your test online... a week later we get a confirmed date from book your driving test for over 200 miles away and 3 months later than asked for... another week later I receive a refund from the DSA with no email/letter advising why. I call them to talk about it and basically this scam of a company had used my sisters details to cancel her booking, then re-book it under their own name at the exact same time and date and pass it off as their own booking (presumably because we had cancelled it and advised the bank) So we had been refunded by the DSA and they had paid for our booking. This was a new low even to the helpful DSA advisor I was speaking to, who was adamant at the beginning that I had never made the booking and the third party had.

I had the DSA confirm the date, forward the email to me and put a note that no one was to make amendments but my sister to the booking.

All in all my sister lost £26.00 which we can deal with but many will never get a date or get any money back. Please do not deal with them. Always go direct through the DSA.

The Dsa are lazy, thieving and liers. »3/12/0807/01/20090

I was supposed to have my driving test in one place, they tell me a week before my test it has changed venues because of building works at that particular place ( surely they would have known this in advance) so they move me to a different venue that takes me and hour to drive there! I payed £66 for the privilege of the car, apparently the weather conditions were too poor (how is 2 degrees celsius too bad conditions) there was no ice no fog and the conditions were fine, I then get a letter through telling me I have to wait a further 2 months to do my test. At the bottom of the letter (all of there letters) they have a Customer service exellence badge HOW DARE THEY! If they even cared a little bit about customer service they would pay overtime to there testers and get the people who have been cheated tested, instead they make us wait another 2 months, so now I have been waiting 4 months to do my test, Ive spent god knows how much on lessons, and I have to fork another £66 to rent the car again, although the DSA refund the test price I think they should try harder to help the consumer, the consumer should not be cheated, its a disgrace that badge they have at the bottom of there letters is not worth the paper its printed on!

hazard perception test »20-02-2-200921/02/20090

i just wanted to warn everybody about dsa hazard perception test, it has got nothing to do with how much you practice or how good you are, i have been driving for 18 years and never involved in an accident and i failed hazard perception test what about the new learner drivers i think its just a random or your luck if you pass which i think is wrong i think its just another way of making money for dsa i mean if you spot the hazard before there so called technical team who make them clips you are fail, if you click couple of time more for same hazard to make sure they wont fail you for clicking too early you are than cheater i think some body like watchdog should have a look into it, because dsa doing this to public and there is  no body to question them and i would like the people to come forward who think this hazard perception test is not fair.

overcharged for theory test booking »january 201117/03/20110
my daughter booked her driving theory test on the first site she can to on goggle and as she was only 19 did not realise that it was not the official site. They charged her £52 instead of £31. her test dated came through for end February but she realised she didnt have her paper licence so we phoned and cancelled the test and rebooked for end March. I was told that we would be reimbursed within 14 days but i have now found out that it was booked by another company called theorytest.net and so now they have taken two lots of £52. I am not able to find a telephone number for them and have seen several sites where other people have been conned.can anyone let me know where this company operates, they used paypal to deal with the payment.

Book my driving on the 28/03/13 as I failed my first test on 28/03/13 and need a cancellation as my theory runs out on 18/04/13 and so this website came up being first one on google and having links with dsa and I paid and received an email saying conformation of payment and I will receive an email 2 weeks later which was weird as my first test I booked gave me my date straight away and so I've tired to contact them by phone which goes to a fax tone in the evening and during the day it just rings and I've emailed them 4 times a day for the last 7 days and no response and now I see its actually a scam website I'm so angry and upset that this has happened

Fraud company »10/04/201329/04/20130
I paid 78 quid for what I thought was my driving test to this company that I thought were DSA... Noo I was wrong, they told me I would get an email on the 23rd April confirming my date time of my test, still nothing, I've emailed and tried calling but had no luck. I'm very angry because I'm on a low income and have saved for weeks just to do my test. This company is horrible, thinking they can just rob descent people. It's not right

This company advertise on Google - the first company at the top of the page if you search 'book your drving test online' They have taken £99 out of my sons account but not booked a test. They do not respond to emails. They do not answer the phone. I got through on two occasions and have been charged £50 for the calls. They said they were putting me through to a different department to sort out the test but left me hanging on the phone and didnt come back to me. The second time they put the phone down on me when i complained that they were not providing the service they advertised.

Theory Test Fraud!!! »21st October 201314/11/20130
I wanted to book my theory test so I went online to the DSA and was directed to www.bookingsdirect.org.uk where I went to book my theory test. I was charge £62.00 and at the time I thought this was weird but was not concerned as it was the "offical DSA site" and everything looked normal. It wasn't until I spoke to my driving instructor who informed me that I had been ripped off!! I am livid, I cannot get in contact with the, they are not replying to my e-mails. I have reported it to my bank who are sending me dispute forms and gave me a contact number but guess what the number is DEAD!! I am a student and cannot afford to be ripped off like this. The actual test is only £31.00 and therefore all I want is the over charge of £31.00 back.

It is sic and a total outrage hat these companies are ripping people off and I am not the first after researching this. All I want is my over charge back as that is my food shop for the week!!
