1 x iPod nano 5th red-8GB »05/11/201015/11/20106
As detailed below I had searched on-line via google for Ipod's for sale as I wished to buy one as a gift for my girlfriend at xmas, having found the site below I ordered the ipod on the 5/11/2010 and have heard nothing since, my only real concern here apart from my being out of pocket is that this site was at the very top of the search results on google (which I assumed were safer or at least well known) and as such I am convinced I will not be the last victim of this scam, just what we need a month before xmas! thanks a bunch - www.ipodnano-sales.info

Bought a 8gb Nano iPod from www.ipodnanouk.com and although emailed the contact for confirmation of purchase, needless to say, no replies.
£71 taken from my account and have since heard this company is non existent and therefore will not get the goods.

Very peeved, and would like to meet the perpetrators of this online scam for a chat.

FAKE IPOD »23/9/201014/10/20105
Hi

We ordered an ipod Nano from the website of www.diggingshop.com/ipodnanouk.com on 23rd September. In the meantime, the ignored all my e-mails. On their webiste, they don't have company address or telephone for customers to contact them.

The ipod did not arrive until 12th October from Shenzen in China without any delivery note or the address from where it was dispatched. Since then I have contacted them at least 10 times asking for the address for returning the item. The reason for returning is not only the late delivery, but to my shock I took the i-pod the Apple store in Regent street who confirmed that the i-pod was a fake and the transaction was fraudulent. So I have lost my £92.26.

PLEASE DO NO BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM THE COMPANY MENTIONED ABOVE.

Ipod rip off . . Money Back? »28/11/201028/11/20105

My fiance and I were out window shopping for MP3 players today for my Christmas gift and saw that we did not really like the new style Nano. I mentioned that as the shops did not seem to be stocking the old style (5th gen) anymore, we might find a bargain online. My fiance punched in ipod nano into google and came across ipodnanosales.com and we were deligted to see the exact thing we wanted for just £59, which we foolishly assumed was Apple getting rid of old model stock to make way for the new edition. Also as it came up as a sponsored link in google he instingtively trusted it and used his debit card to purchase an 8gb ipod. Later on, feeling quite chuffed I wanted to look at the item again and serch the Apple site, but couldn't find it. When I found genuine ipod nano's refurbished by Apple for the exact same price as our 'brand new one', alarm bells began to ring!! I asked my fiance what he had searched as I was having trouble finding it again, he told me and then of course my research lead me here! I was so gutted having to let him know what I had found out as he was so excited to find what I wanted within our modest Christmas budget. I am so angry not at the lost of £61.00 as such but more so for knocking the wind out of our sales and tainting Christmas for us with such greed, now we feel quite foolish. Any way he used his O2 money card which is backed by Natwest and he will call them tomorrow to see if there is anything we can do to get our money back. I wonder has anyone had this fraud recognised by their bank and managed to get their money back at all?

I picked this site as it was the first listed in a google search. I was looking for an ipod nano 5th generation for my daughter for Christmas. The goods were advertised at £89 but appear on my mastercard statement as £91.87

Goods arrived after about 12-15 days, and all looked OK. When my daughter opened her present yesterday, we tried to connect the 'ipod' to itunes, but it wouldn't connect. It also doesn't appear to hold any charge!

Domain seized »22 November 201026/11/20103

It's my eldest daughters 13th birthday next week and I wanted to buy her an ipod nano. I looked at the popular websites - argos, comet, etc but they all are now selling the newer shaped model which I don't think she will like. I did a google search and came across ipodnanouk.com and saw a purple 16gb ipod nano for £89, without any hesitation I bought it straightaway using my visa electron debit card. I didn't recieve a confirmation email which to be honest I expected so throughout the day I kept checking their my account on their website...order status said 'processing'. I have checked everyday, same result. I also checked my bank account and it was obvious to assume the money was already taken from the account but was not showing up on the statement. This morning (26/11), I checked my bank account to find £91.58 had been taken from my account to 'Sh Lanpu It Co., L'. Still no confirmation email so I went to the ipodnanouk site only to find a message basically stating the domain name has been seized by ICE - Homeland Security Investigations.

I am completely gutted as now I have less than £10 in my account and will have nothing to give to my daughter. How awful!! I feel so stupid. So I am now going to call my bank and cancel my bank card!!

I was looking for a ipod nano for my daughter for Christmas. I came upon the site (www.ipodnanouk.com)that looked genuine and ordered an 5th generation nano.

I became suspicious when I didn't receive a confirmation email and when I tried to go back to the website today (25/11/2010) it no longer exists but www.ipodnanosales.com is now the same site.

Purple Ipod Nano »10/12/201017/12/20102

I ordered a 16Gb purple Ipod Nano as part of my wife's Christmas preasent for £89.00 late last Friday. As soon as the transaction was completed I felt uncomfortable about it and tried to get back into the account, which I had been required to set up in order to make the purchase. The website reported that it did not recognise my account and so I sent a message via the website's "contact us" section, stating that I intended to contact the authorities. I did not receive the confirmation email that I was told I would receive and have not received either a reply to my website complaint or the iPod Nano. A payment for £93.25 has been taken from my account by someone calling themselves CNTOPAY.com but otherwise I have heard nothing.

I was looking on the internet to find an iPod nano 5th generation for my girlfriend for our 2 year anniversary, and I came across the site ipodnano-sales.info whilst searching google. The website was highlighted in pale yellow at the top of the search, so I thought that it would be a trustworthy site as these sites are supposedly exactly that. Although I did think the site looked rather dodgy I ended up 'buying' a blue iPod for £59.99- what seemed like a great bargain! However it is now two weeks on and not only have I already been charged for the item and still haven't received it but I haven't heard anything back from any emails I have sent and, after looking at this website, have now found out that I have been scammed. Help!

I bought this ipod for my step sone for christmas. Like many others on here I believed this to be a reputable site as it came up first on a google search! I bought a 5th gen for £89, which was a bargain. I did get a confirmation but it said I had paid using a gift certificate. I didn't like the look of the e mail so I went back to the site and logged in, again it all looked ok at this stage. After a week I hadn't received the ipod so I went back to the site to find a number, no number!, no adress, and no response to four emails. The ipod eventually turned up, from Shenzhen! it looked ok so I didn't tried to load it, I wrapped it up and put it under the tree. Guess what?? dissapointment it doesn't work, switches itself off, and isn't compatible with itunes, I have been ripped off, I will have to contact my bank on monday to see if the money can be recovered. Has anyone had any success getting the money back?

Bogus ipods »16/11/1026/11/20101
I ordered 2 x 5th gen ipod nanos on 1/11/10 from what I thought was an Apple Store in China - one for a birthday present and one for a christmas present. I paid by credit card and the money was taken out of my account on 3/11/10. Each ipod cost £79.00 with free delivery. The amount taken was £182.64 and on my credit card statement the name appears as www.oilpaintingcheap.c shenzhen chn. I received the ipods on 16th November - well packaged but with no receipt/credit note. To me they looked genuine - but I am certainly no expert. I gave the orange ipod to my son on 20th November for his birthday. He was immediately disappointed with it. It failed to charge up fully, it wasn't compatible with i-tunes and he said there were many differences/faults to this one and the one he had previously had (from a reputable UK store). I searched the site that I'd purchased it from, but failed to find the customer services department or any address or phone numbers. I emailed them but heard nothing. I also contacted www.ipodnanoukshop - which is obviously the same store. Again, I received no news. I purchased from this store believing it to be an Apple store. I was satisfied with what I read about the 7-day money back guaranteee if the customer is not fully satisfied, as well as the Special Holiday Return Policy and the 1 year warranty. Obviously this is a bogus site with bogus goods. I'm £182 out of pocket with xmas approaching, have 2 naff ipods and don't know what to do next. PLEASE HELP.

Marc.
Like many others I was "seduced" by the prospect of getting a i-Pod Nano 5g for what you would expect to be on sale at a reduced price due to the release of the 6g.
Site looked genuine - only after my order was confirmed did I suspect that something was wrong. E-mail from them in broken english saying order was being processed - no delivery date.
Tried to e-mail them back, 10 times now, but have been getting no reply.
Checked my credit card transactions only to find they tried to take £91.74 twice !!. Only ordered one at £89.00 ??.
Immediately tried to cancel transactions - successfully got one cancelled, but other went through - now trying to get refund through credit card company.
Have cancelled my credit card and got a new one.
Also changed my contact details on their site - don't want the theiving b*****ds have them.

Oh, I am still waiting for them to deliver - HA HA

Find it hard to believe that Google & Apple are doing nothing to shut this site down. Maybe they don't care ??
