Not re-funding the amount and no communication »04/03/200916/03/20097

I bought a digital camera Canon powershot G1o from the website www.bitesizedeals.co.uk on the 4th March. During the time of purchase their online stock update showed there were 35 pcs of this same camera availiable to buy online and will be despatched within 24 to48 hours. After 48 hours too I did not get any mail confirming that my camera has been despatched. Following which I sent an enquirey mail to the company. They did not reply for 2 days. The third day, they sent me a mail appologising that this product was not in stock. I replied saying I would like to cancell my order as I needed the camera ASAP for the 12th March to be given a gift for my Friend's B'day. They did not reply for 48 hours and I re-send the mail quiet  few times. Then they sent me a mail on 11th March they sent me a mail confirming that I will be re-funded te full amount and they will cancel my order. I sent a thank you mail and requested for a quick re-fund. There was again no reply for 24 hours and on 12th one of their customer service manager Steve replid saying they were sorry for what happened and will refund me the full money. I sent a reply again saying thank you and asking for quick re-fund as I had paid with my credit card and did not want unwanted interest on my balance. Since then I have not got any reply or communication from the company. Today is the 16th March and I am still worried if I would get my money back or not. They have their website which ends with .co.uk, but on their website in About Us session, they say the company is based in the USA. I do not know if this is a fraud company and it they are trying to rip people off and get the money and interst on the money. Please help and please let me know what can I do to get my money back please. Thank you.

Regards

Prathika

Ripped off »20th November201023/11/20104

On the 20th November I THOUGHT I had ordered two pairs of UGG boots from UGG Australia, the website looked 100% authentic. It was only when I checked my crdit card statement did I see that the company that had taken the payment was DIGGINGSHOP.COM, who claim to sell replacement batteries for laptops, as I do not own a laptop I am hardly likely to purchase a battery!!!!!!!!I will be going into my bank this morning and see what advice they can offer me.

Craigslist Scam using ParcelForce »11/30/201102/12/20114

A girl, "Lindsey Valentine" posted on Craigslist that she was selling a used ipad 2 for $300. Assuming it was fairly worn, I figured I'd buy it and get it fixed. She suggested using a third party company called "Global-parcelforce" which did a "third-party exchange. I was instructed to go to Western Union to transfer $300 to a CHARLA ASHEAR in Bolton, UK. Turns out she's been scamming multiple people into wiring her money through a fake website (global-parcelforce.com). I hope any employment company, or anyone who searches up her name will see this, unless she returns $300 dollars to me, this claim will remain here. CHARLA ASHEAR IS A SCAMMER.

Even using Parcelforce's label and name to scam, which will hopefully lead to a lawsuit on her behalf.

Undelivered Adobe Fireworks CS4 »17 March 200925/03/20092

Ordered and paid for this product on 17 March, the website says product 'usually ships in 24-48 hours'.  Eight days later my order is still 'in process', and the company is not responding to my emails to find out when or if I will receive this product (which I needed urgently).  There is no phone number to contact them.  I have tried to cancel the order on their website, but an automatic message prevents cancellation, saying they are 'too busy at this time to accept cancellations'.  I have subsequently found a forum with hundreds of complaints from buyers who have paid for products that either haven't arrived, or which have arrived from the US - in which case they come with warranties which are invalid in the UK.  This company advertises using Google Adwords - why is Google taking their money and not preventing what appears to be a US-based company disguising itself as British, and ripping off UK customers who have no recourse as there appear to be no contact details (UK or otherwise) for Trading Standards to take this up?

Fake web site »27th Nov. 201008/12/20101

I purchased a pair of ugg boots from what I thought was www.uggaustralia.com. I was asked to pay USA $112. The money was taken from my account on the 27th November to the value of £63.32. I received an email from a girl called Sarah who had an email address of sarah for me to confirm my order which I did. I am still waiting for my boots and from other web sites about fakes I think I will never receive them. I was so sure it was safe as the English content was very good. After my money had been taken the English became very bad. I work hard for my money and cannot afford for anyone to steal from me.

Lg Viewty phone not working »21/11/0803/03/20091

I purchased an Lg Veiwty Phone from Phones 4 U(Belfast) on 8th March 2008,  didnt gey insurance because the phone was £229.95 and i couldn't afford it and it was covered for a year by the warranty. The phone was only a few months old when it became temperamental when charging but it still charged. Shortly after that the phone stopped charging at all so i took it back to Phones 4 U and they sent it away to the engineers, on 21/11/08. I received my phone back on 1/12/08 with a letter saying that it was beyond economical repair, that i have dropped it, crushed it or misused it, which i havent, my phone is in perfect condition.

After many expensive calls to Phones 4 U customer services they told me to try Lg as they are the manufacturer.

So after more expensive phone calls to LG customer services they sent my phone to there engineers, The phone came back in bits with a shabby letter and a picture of the inside panal of the phone, it said the damage was caused by customer misuse. I rang there customer service again explaining to them i have never dropped or crusheh the phone. Thay told me all i coud do was write a letter of complaint, which i did.  explained in the letter that i didn't understand how thay coud say that i had broke the inside panal, then came another shabby 7 line long letter saying i had pushed my headphones into the head phone jack to hard and broke the panal. I emailed the person back and told them i have nevr used my headphones and i have them in the sealed wrapper they came in, i got an email back saying they could no longer assist me and they would be making no further contact!!

I think this is an absolute disgrace, i feel ripped off totally. I have never had to complain about anything before but i feel very strongly about this as i cant understand how any company can just push you to the side like that.

I want my money back or at least a new handset.

Re: Order BK-090429-161201-2173 CANCEL this order and REFUND IMMEDIATELY

Hi,

www.bitesizedeals.co.uk is a name for UK business. I have discovered that you are not UK based and I will incur tax (which you fail to mention).

You stated on your website that you held 12 in stock.
Even though I paid for one on 29th April 2009 your site still states that you still have 12 in stock.

You state on your site "Our prices include P&P".
You charged me £5.

From your website:

"
Customer Service!
It's no surprise that Bitesizedeals has become the Internet destination of choice. We know that the secret to running a successful business is keeping our customers happy. We set out to provide our customers with the kind of world-class service that keeps them coming back for more. Our customers are our priority and providing them with excellent customer service is necessary to our businesses success. "
I have had no response to any of my previous emails.

My account shows you have made no progress since 29th April 2009.

REFUND MY MONEY.

Regards
andrew "

I have ordered Ipod Nano 5th Generation on 02.12.10 for a Christmas present and was worried I had not received an email confirming my order. When you access the site it looks like an official apple shop site.(obviously not having read the other comments). I checked my credit card account and the transaction went through 02.12.10. Having checked out www.diggingshop.com I came across all the other reports of fake/fraud goods I have now contacted my credit card company asking them to cancel this transaction and hoping for a refund to my account. I will update with outcome.
