I ordered two cake tins from this website which claimed to despatch within 48 hours.  I have to date not received the items.  I have emailed them and received an automated reply that my query would be dealt with.  I emailed and asked for a response within 48 hours.  Th automated response assured me that most queries would be dealt with within 24 hours.  I told them I would take action if I received no reponse and I cancelled the order.  I have  received no replies at all and they have not refunded my money.

I have now contacted the credit card company to take the matter up with de Cuisine.

An order for a digital thermometer was made and paid for 16th July 2009.  Confirmation was received by email with order number. Since then nothing.  I started chase up emails 24th July  & odd intervals since. Not even the decency of a reply. Also unable to contact by telephone.  Are they still in business. If so they don't deserve to be. Or are they just a bunch of con merchants ?

I placed an order with this company on the friday of the bank holiday weekend (28th May), they took the money from my account on the tuesday after. When i checked the tracking service it said "it was in the warehouse awaiting to be packed." This message was diplayed for about 2 weeks, then i decided to email them, as there was no phone nubmer,and ask how long it took to put something in a box and post it. i didn't hear anything back from them. I've email them again but stil got no responce, my order with p&p is less than £5.00 but its the princapal of the matter they shouldn't be allowed to take money from people and not deliver the goods. I advise anyone not to order anything from this company.

I am still waiting for my product a Milton and Brooks mortar and pestle ordered 11/11/10 and bebited from my credit card 15/11/10. As today is 31/12/10 and my goods have still not arrived and all my emails remain unanswered apart from a "tracking advise of goods despatched", I have now contacted my credit card company and they have informed me they will investigate and hopefully refund me.
The Milton and Brooks mortar and pestle I ordered was not available in Australia at the time and Amazon would not despatch to Australia. I though I was lucky finding this company to purchase this product from...sadly I was mistaken.

I wish I had Googled before I purchased, I have only now investigated and found copious amounts of negative comments, dating back to 2008.
Others have posted comments about on sites such as was contacted by email on the above date and also on the following dates with no response.
I have attached an email delivery receipt to all my emails to and all emails have been delivered as I have email delivery notification to confirm.

I have also reported this company to and suggest others dealing with this company to do the same.

Ordered Goods, took my money, no stock, but they never intended to tell me that. »10th April 201220/04/20120
So i ordered this 15cm cake tin on the 10 of April 2012, it was an urgent order, i already specified to them when i ordered.

i got a confirmation email right after i filled in my details.

but never got a dispatch email.
i emailed them on their webform on the 12th. no response.

so on the 17th i called them, their phone is ALWAYS not free, as they claim they only have 1 line. me being my very determined self called until someone picked up

to be honest the guy was really nice, telling me they are out of stock and he will go into the warehouse to double check. then he said they dont have stock but they may have some with the delivery company, he doesnt know if my order was dispatched or not. he said he will get back to me later that day. i said okay and hung up. they never called back.

the next day i called again. telling him he didnt call back and asked about my order. he said they dont have stock but will check again now, he went away and came back telling me the same story and that he will call back 10 minutes later.
he did not.

on the 20th i called them and told them my order number. he said OHHH the cake tin one, youre not the only one.
by that time i was already fed up with them so i told them to cancel my order. he said yes immediately and said he will send me an email later this afternoon to confirm the cancellation.

I doubt they will send me any emails though, if not i will call again. i hope i get my money back and the delivery cost.

these guys dont deserve to have a business. they should have specified that the items are not in stock on the website, not 10 days after when the customer calls their forever-unfree hotline.

will write another review if they dont cancel my order today and send me back my money.

In the evening of 26 october 2010, i try to comand some pizza from Luciano´s Pizza, 626 Bristol Road Selly Oak, Birmingham B29 6BQ.
I went online and this website:, and i try to order a menu, i try to pay for 5 times, but my visa debit card was not accepted.
Finally i order a menu of 20 GBP, the employer come home, and i pay cash the money for the product.
In this night i cheked my card online to ckeck my balance, and i saw 5 order of 39.02 GBP to Nochex Leeds.

I also make a complain to my bank to stop the payment to Nochex Leeds.
