I saw a listing on Craig's list for a ipad $300 posted in Albany new york the person then proceeded to send me pictures but tell me that I should use parcelforce they sent me a email to wire money then wld send out ipad. I did this then realized it was a scam and I really need my money back, I am going through cancer treatments and really did not need this, please help! The person said she moved to Vancouver that is why had to use parcelforce.

CLAIM REFUSAL:    Interlink Express/Direct have just refused me a claim for goods damaged in transit from Devon, UK to Germany.  I booked on-line with them to carry my 40 piece Royal Dolton Tea Set and at no point on the booking form was there a mention of the fact that they do not accept liability for this type of goods? If I had known I would not have booked through them. I clearly stated on the form what was in my parcel and duly signed up, the contents where never queried with me and they were happy to take my money for transit.  I took 3 hours to pack the tea set to a high standard and was shocked to hear that when opened upon arrival there was substantial damage done.  I clearly marked on the box fragile/this way up and cannot see how this happened unless there was neglegance in transit. My customer sent me photos of the damage and I also had photos of my own packing to provide the company with along with everything else that they asked me for only to receive a letter today stating that "They are unable to recomend payment as the goods carried are amongst those where no liability is accepted". Why was this not clearly stated on the booking form? I duly phone their office and was told that I hadn't taken out their insurance and if I'd read the Terms & Conditions I would have known about what was covered and what wasn't.  In good faith I have re-imbursed my customer back his money.  £82.70 is not a lot money to Interlink Express/Direct but it is to me.   I would not recommend anyone to use Interlink Express/Direct as they obviously do not care about the "little" customer and have no customer care policies. It is now May and I have not had any recompense from this company, this only reaffirms my opinions of them.

These letters contained cheques valued at £208 which are now out of date so I vannot cash them


Royal Mail say they will not compensate me for the loss because 'under section 28 of The Postal Services Act 200 the service we provide is not contractural' which means the staff can pinch what they choose and Royal Mail has no control over them - or responsibility for theft by their staff - SHAMEFUL !! BEWARE you could lose valuables to thieving postal workers and no chance of getting any recompense for their actions

No cards arrived on my son's birthday (24/04/09) I found out later that 3 different family members sent him cards via the royal mail first class service from 3 different areas of the UK, Kent, Glasgow and Derbyshire. All cards were posted on the wednesday 22/04/09 and has still not been received to date 11/05/09 one card contained £50 one £30 and one £10. Not only is it very hard that the money has gone but the fact that my little boy only had one card on his birthday (from me) is very upsetting.

I had my brothers european cup final ticket sent to my house by special next day delivery and it never arrived. Apparently it was stolen. These circumstances have resulted in me not being able to go to Rome because of Manchester Uniteds ridiculous policy where my dad has to pick the ticket up in Rome even though my brothers details where on the travel report they requested. All 3 of us share 2 season tickets between us because of the scandalous price rises but united say tough basically. I will not go if my brother isn't getting in so we have lost the flights and both tickets totalling 800 pounds. Manchester United knew my brothers details including passport number because we filled them in, it said ' Fill in the travelling supporters details', which we did but apparently the rules have changed and it isn't transferable.

 I use the Worldwide Parcel Express Ltd. delivery service quite a few times to send items abroad. THEY USE DHL FOR THEIR DELIVERIES and insurance up to £50 is included in the price paid if the item's value is up to £50. Once the item arrived broken, but I did not get my claim paid as they found all sorts of legal "clauses" preventing a payment. In December, again, I sent 2 parcels to different people abroad WHO LIVED IN DIFFERENT TOWNS but both parcels were delivered TO THE SAME PERSON. AS A RESULT THE PERSON IN QUESTION OPENED THE PARCEL, TOOK OUT ONE ITEM AND PACKED IT AGAIN. WHEN FINALLY THE CARRIERS DECIDED TO COLLECT THE PARCEL AFTER TEN DAYS HAD GONE BY, AND DELIVERED IT TO THE RIGHTFUL VERY ANGRY PERSON, HE FOUND THAT THE ITEMS HE HAD PAID FOR WERE NOT ALL IN THE PARCEL, AND I HAD TO REFUND THE COST OF THE ITEM, WELL ABOVE THE £50 I SHOULD HAVE RECEIVED AS COMPENSATION. I SENT ALL THE DOCUMENTATION NECESSARY TO WORLDWIDE AND AFTER 1 MONTH WEN I ENQUIRED ABOUT MY CLAIM I WAS TOLD THAT DHL TAKES UP TO 3 MONTHS TO SETTLE. IT IS NOW MAY, AND ALTHOUGH I HAVE SENT VARIOUS EMAILS TO THE CONTACT THEY GAVE ME IN THE COMPANY,AS THEY DO NOT HAVE AN EMAIL ADDRESS ON THEIR SITE. I HAVE NOT EVEN RECEIVED A REPLY. THEY CANNOT BE REACHED ON THE PHONE AS NOBODY EVER ANSWERS IT! ALL THIS COST ME A GREAT DEAL OF STRESS WHEN IT HAPPENED, VARIOUS CALLS TO THE PEOPLE INVOLVED IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY, THE COST OF THE ITEMS THAT I REFUNDED. SHOULD THE COMPANY GET AWAY WITH IT AGAIN? While I was in India earlier this year I decided to send a sitar back from Varanasi in the north as I had my full quota of plane baggage & an extra 150 quid was a little over the top to take it with me on my Emirates flight back home. Cost of about £60

So back from Varanasi P.O. it went the saturday before the thursday I returned. It arrived to be impounded at Customs (surprise!!!) on the friday after I got back. Good quick post that.

After having sent them bought proof/postage receipts from bought from shop in India, kindly got by fellow Brit, Katinka, who was still in India (how I would've got this had she NOT been there....) I got a letter from Parcelforce saying I was to be charged again for them paying for it to be released. OK!!

When said sitar arrived I had the young driver watch as I unpacked the item only to find it damaged. I then went on Parecelforce's web site to claim & had a reply saying 'apologies' etc & could I send all receipts from India & pics of damage which I subsequently did. I then got an e-mail saying I had to get a claim form from the country I sent it.

Why this wasn't said in the first place is beyond me



Several times was I told this even after I asked how/where on earth I was to get said claim form, even after a CAB threat.

Being totally ignored from then on, I went to Citizens' Advice who rang &, EVENTUALLY, after much pursuing of 'relevant people' was given an address.

Nowhere on this site is a downloadable compensation claim form.

I put the claim in in jan then again each month till I got a response. however pacel force sent the form to my UK address and I live here in Bornep . So my father sent the form by post , Like all the mail he has sent here from the UK in the last two years, Its never got here. to kotakinabalu borneo malaysia.  I have loads of e mails and no replies but one. Still no claim I phoned and they said the claim was lost in the archives. So it was to be sorted out, They came back with an e mail saying I should have filled out the form. in 30 days.  I have e mailed again and again woth only and auto reply. I lost my diving spars kit water tight box and diving mask and flask. All broken . Oh not to forget the most impotent part the chinese plate 


its now 9 months and still no claim. I even sent photographs of the damage ask asked.

Am getting nowhere with e mails as they seem unable to reconciliate.  Have written and faxed copies of docs which they take several weeks to acknowledge and have now threatened with trading standards as I dont know what else to do. My ref with them is HR543964. I have been paying via credit card - have told them how much has been debited to credit card and amts refunded but getting nowhere.

i am a pensioner and when my heating allowance was due i should have got it the same day as my pension, so i should have recieved 400.oo that day, i only recieved 200.00 and the girl behind the counter insisted sge paid me my full money, but i know she didnt. as i returned home and after counting my money and realising i was 200.00 short, i returned to the post office to tell her of her mistake but she denied it, but said she would count the money at the end of the day and let me know. she called me back that night saying she wasnt 200.00 over, but 23.00 over, and she would give me that as a goodwill gesture, to my digust obviuosley i refused, i am sure that is against the law also. ive been to a lawyer ect, but to no avail, can you help me with my dilema

My parcel with my sons xmas present in was sent to me recorded delivery. I never receieved this item. After weeks of trying to find out how to claim and several emails later i finally handed in my claim form with all the relevent details they requested. I then get a letter to say there is no record of my recorded item and 6 first class stamps for my trouble.


 I refused to accept this so i logged on to royal mail websites track and trace service, and low and behold there was a record of my item being delivered and a copy of the signature. I was absolutely furious as i live alone and i had not signed for the parcel, it was clearly not my signature. I sent several emails and then another letter to say that they did have record of my parcel being delivered afterall and appologised.


It is now april 2009 and my son is still without his xmas present. Im disgusted with the service i have received, nobody has even had the decentsy tyo speak to me and just send automated emails.


There last bit of advice was to contact the sender and they would have to claim. The whole experience has taken over my life, i have no faith in the postal system as i was told that basically the postman could dump all his parcels in the bin, and sign the slips hiself. The purpose of recorded delivery is to deliver to the address and obtain a signature. In my case this was not true.

Sent a first class recorded letter containing a postal order value £28.09 for a purchase online. checked track and trace each day and no sign of delivery. Eventually after the 15 working days put in a claim form for the amount of postal order and postage. Letter receiived told me that postal order cashed on the 27th Feb 09 and yet the letter was not signed for. How is that? I had to send the money again to the lady and by next day dleivery at a cost. In fact paid twice for the item. They broke the contract with me to get a signature for a letter which I had paid for. Sent them details and original receipts plus further phone calls to the company, which were not received with empathy. I have asked for an escalation of the investigation in a letter to Royal Mail as to where the postal order was cashed as the lady I sent it to assured me she never had it. Nothing coming back from them whatsoever. They did tell me on the phone that they would refund the cost of the recorded letter but not the postal order inside. I told them this was not acceptable. I have heard nothing from them and feel that they have betrayed my trust in them to deliver the service that I paid for. Again I posted a next day delivery letter, it was not delivered, I was refunded for postage. Again I sent a letter last week and it also contained a postal order sent first class, was not received. What kind of service is this?  Its high time that they got their act together and with the rising cost of mail one item went up by 35p that is next day delivery letter. We would likely be much better off with a private company. Give me my money back Royal Mail!!

I sent goods via the Royal mail, I paid extra for 1st class recorded delievery. To stop my parcel going missing.


According to Royal mail they have no record of the parcel from when it left the post office.  Royal Mail now state first class delievery means the goods will be delivered in the next seven days. Which is different to what the post office staff state.


It doesn't matter what form of postage is usage there is no way you can stop postal workers helping themselves to any items they fancy.


If Royal Mail looked into the matter, of missing post sooner rather than waiting three weeks they might find who is taking the goods instead of delivering them. 


If you want your goods delivered do not use Royal Mail because all you are doing is paying for your goods to be solen.

I purchased a pair of boots on 14/08/09.  Until today they have never arrived.   I have contacted Ugg boots and informed them that I never received the goods and they kept telling me that they're on the way.  I contacted royal mail and they said that the boots may have been lost and that they will not investigate as i'm not the sender.  Royal mail have lost the package or delivered to the wrong address.  It was a recorded delivery item and yet they said they have no copy of the signature.  I have asked them to at least inform me where they delivered the boots to and they say they have no information.  I have asked them for compensation as there is evidence that they have lost the boots and they said that the seller should request for compensation.  How can the seller request for compensation when they are not the ones out of pocket?  This company is a disgrace!
