Fake DVD »28/11/200918/12/20094
Bought a Disney Lion King DVD from 7entertainment.co.uk. Advertised as genuine import which I believed to mean still a genuine disney dvd - just from anither country.
DVD arrived from Thailand & is clearly a copy - the print quality on the cover for a start is terrible.
Seller denies it is a copy & agrees to refund if I return. Only thing is it has to be returned expensive recorded delivery to Thailand. Royal Mail only guarantee the package until it leaves the UK & cannot provide a copy of the signature mmm....what are the chances of this guy admitting it has been recieved? So I either write off £15 as a stark lesson learned or risk losing even more money sending something back to a black hole.
Paypal will not uphold my dispute claim as they can only refund for goods not recieved - another lesson - dont trust that just because a company uses paypal it means they are reputable & safe!
I know I probably wont get anything back - I just want to let everyone know about this company & try & stop someone else from being ripped off - this company should not be allowed to trade but looking at the comments here it looks as if he will just keep opening up under different names even if we can stop him trading under this one!!

wrong product »14/08/0914/08/20093

I ordered what I thought was a Disney DVD of Beauty and the Beast when i opened it it was a copy (not genuine as stated) of Snow White and seven dwarfs.  When I went back on line to follow up the complaint the web addresses for support to make a complaint was not valid so I've no way of getting either my money back or a replacement as it states when ordering.

Placed an order on 07/06/2009 for 3 DVDs none of which have arrived despite 2 weeks having passed. E-mailed customer service only to be told no tracking number available.

**MAKE SURE YOU PLACE A CLAIM WITH PAYPAL WITHIN THEIR TIME LIMITS OTHERWISE YOU ARE LEFT WITH NOTHING AND NO MONEY**

I think the 25 days before delivery can be investigated is to put you over this limit!

Non delivery »8.1. 200914/03/20091

I first ordered 2 DVD's from this company on 21.11.2008.   When they arrived one of the DVD's did not have the film in the case only 2 disc 2's.  I informed the company and they apologised and told me the DVD was on it's way.  As I had still not received the DVD by 20/1/2009, I sent another email asking if there was a problem and they replied asking me to be patient the film was on it's way.  I then waited until 16/2/09 and sent another email enquiring where my DVD was and I had no response.

I have since sent another 10 emails which have all been ignored, I even tracked down the name of the person my money went to through my paypal account and he also ignored my email.

I know it's only £14.95 but this is not the first time this has happened to me and I feel ripped off by this company.  Can you help?

I have sent you all 3 email addresses I have for this company.

Many thanks

Julie Berry

Fake dvd's & non-receipt!! »2201201011/03/20101
On the 22nd of January 2010 i ordered four dvds from this so called website paying via PayPal. I received 2 of the dvds about three weeks later which were clearly fake! terrible cover quality and a terrible copy in general! I was still waiting for the other 2 to arrive (they were for a birthday on the 17th Feb - i preseumed a month would be ample for delivery!!!) when i did not receive the other two dvds i thought it would be a case of contacting the website and letting them know and the problem would be resolved either by sending some more out to me or refund (which they claim on the website they do if dvds are not received within 28 days!!!) so i contacted Andy Byard, about a week or so later after 2 emails he made contact to ask what i was missing (which id explained in my emails) no contact again, so i sent another email to asvise what was happening, he replied and said he'd asked what i was missing, it was clear on the email thread he had neither read the emails i sent or acknowledged anything i was saying! over the past few weeks i have realised ive been scammed, this man has no intention of refunding me for the fake dvds or for the ones i haven't received! He cant even provide me with a tracking number! i have never had the displeasure of dealing with such a person, waste of my time and i am sick of it now! PayPal are as useless! i have contacted trading standards but they say they cant help in individual cases!
Does anyone have any advice on how i can get my money back and make sure this fake website and this Andy Byard get what they deserve for ripping people off!! Any help woulf be great as i really don't know where to go with this now! Thanks :)

DVD's not received »21.06.0924/09/20091

As with all these others I have had a similarly bad experience with Moviebytes. I ordered 4 DVD's from them on 21 June to the tune of nearly £50. When I hadn't received anything by 15 july I emailed them and they responded very apologetically to say all items posted on the 23 June had been lost in the post and they had sent duplicates as a precaution. I then waited until 5 August and emailed them again and they said the goods were on their way. On 17 Aug I contacted them yet again and they responded to say that my delivery had been returned to them as uncalled for as I hadn't been in to sign for the goods. Again they were quite apologetic so I wasn't particularly suspicious and stupidly I agreed to let them have a 3rd try at sending the items. I then contacted them on 16 Sept and subsequently on 21 Sept with no response. I then found this website and read all the other posts about this site and realised I've been royally ripped off - unable to claim via Paypal as the time elapsed is too long and I paid on my Switch card so cannot claim any of the money back  :( I contacted my local trading standards office about them to see if anything could be done but they have checked an apparently the website is registered in Singapore, even though it has  co.uk address, so there is absolutely nothing they can do....

Beauty and the Beast and Snow White DVD »06/09/200920/10/20091

I am very similar to a lot of you insofar as I ordered dvd's (beauty and the beast and snow white).  In addition to this my friend wanted Beauty and the Beast as well, so I ordered a second copy.  the beauty and the beast dvd arrived and as like a lot of you was blatantly a fake.  I have emailed them regarding the other 3 dvd's and have had the same excuses regarding the 25 day rule and the tracking number.  however I have now had enough and asked for a complete refund have been chasing this up and received an email this morning, stating that paypal will send me an email when done.  however, have cearly caught them out as I did not pay through paypal.  I have returned an email to them telling them that i did not pay through paypal and therefore they now have 24 hours to refund to my card or I will issue court proceeings against them.

For anyone else who needs their address, I have located it:-

Disney DVD - Fake »02/05/201223/05/20121
I ordered seven Disney DVD's from Kiddyhome.co.uk on 02 May 2012 (Jungle Book x 2, The Little Mermaid x 2, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and Snow White). They were sold as genuine UK Region 2 movies, however the items I have received are copies. The covers are variations of the originals and on some of them the printing is low quality. The images on the site are not the same as the DVD's that I have been sent and therefore misleads shoppers to believe that the DVD's on sale are genuine. They are not. I am currently pursuing a claim through PayPal and my credit card provider is also assisting. The seller offered me a refund of £8.93 which I declined. He then offered me £3.93. It was at this point that I have ceased communication with Phut Saensurin and now through PayPal only. I am in the process of obtaining a letter from the Disney store with confirmation that the products are counterfeit.

Won't Give Refund »26/05/0926/05/20090

I purchased 10 DVD's on 2nd May '09. I firstly didn't receive the films for 2 and a half weeks despite being told they were shipped the day after payment. I decided to test the film quality. 6 of the 10 were not in english, 1 had no audio at all and all were of a very poor visual quality (not even watchable - the picture kept freezing or was blurred to the point you could not recognise anything). I e-mailed LatestDVD9.com's customer services explaining the problem and asking for a full refund and that I would send back the films. They replied explaining they do not issue refunds and if I wanted a better quality I should have purchased the 4.99 films (despite the 3.99 and 4.99 films still having the 3 out of 5 star rating!). I responded explaining 3/5 stars does not accurately rate the quality of the films and nowhere does it state the movies are not in english, the response was a 'no, sorry we don't issue refunds, have a nice day!'.

I am down nearly £60, they shouldn't be able to get away with this!

Failed to send purchased goods »12/02/0928/03/20090

I ordered a box set of DVD's from this company (Lost series 4) via Google Accounts.  I waited two weeks after Google confirmed that the order had been dispatched.  When the goods had not been received I sent three e-mails via Google Accounts to ask for either my money back or for the goods to be sent. I waited for a bank statement which showed the money had been taken from my account before making a claim via this site.

Fake DVDs »Jan 201029/03/20100

Ordered 3 Disney Dvds - Lion King, Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast because, like others, the website led me to believe they were based in UK. Turned out they are not and, as described by others, the DVDs are fakes which do not play on my DVD. When contacted they vehemently denied they were fakes and suggested i return them if i was not satisfied. I duly spent another £5,50 on postage and surprise, surprise have never received a refund as the DVDs have apparently never been received by them. A bunch of con artists.

Lost season 5 »16 11 200916/04/20100

Ordered Lost season 5 on 16.11.2009. It came wrapped in plastic but it was clearly a fake copy. I did not open the seal but e-mailed 7 entertainment and asked to return it, no problem and was told a Thailand address to return it to, this cost me a further £8. Told to wait 3 weeks for it to be returned to Thailand. I e-mailed again, not returned yet I was told, a further 2 weeks later, again I e-mailed, not here yet was the reply. I was told to contact The Royal Mail. I did this and as I had paid to return this by recorded post it was tracked. The Royal Mail told me they would look into this but it could take up to 3 months. I got a letter today it had been returned to 7entertainment on 8.12 2009. E-mailed them umpteen times as yet no reply.

Scam »14 May 201014/05/20100

I ordered 3 DVDs from 7entertainment on 31 January 2010. They took payment straight away and delivered two DVDs. I have enquired where the third was and they said it was out of stock and would be posted in 3 days. It is now May and I am still waiting. I have sent countless emails asking for said DVD and have not had a reply. It may not be much money £11.99 but I am now doing this out of principal.
