SEO cheats »February 200927/06/20091

I was contacted on the phone by a representative of a company working on behalf of Google promising excellent Search Optimisation Services for my website... I was quoted a price of around £700, that they conveniently didn't mention was excluding VAT until I found out from my bank statement.. (Even though I specifically asked if the sum quoted would be the exact amount I would be charged and Antonio, who was handling my claim said it was... so I was cheated off the price.. Anyway, for that price I was promised two things.. One was a promise that once they received the money, they would begin to optimise my website on google for the term "Overseas property" and that "within two to three weeks" my website [www.isuhomes.com] (link: http://www.isuhomes.com) would be within the top five normal entries on the first page with that search result and "within one week" would be on the first page... I was also promised 300 pay per clicks with sponsored links, free, after I had bought the optimisation..

After several weeks i began to notice that none of the search result terms were bringing up my website at all and after clicking through the first 50 pages of Google, my website was nowhere to be seen to the term agreed!! I called several times for Antonio but was largely ignored, leaving behind many messages that went unanswered until one day, he finally answered his phone. I enquired why I had seen nothing and he said that we had put me in for the term "overseas property London" as oppose to "overseas property"... saying that the one I had wanted would have been too expensive for the budget I paid!!!! I told him I was not interested in that phrase since I don't offer any properties in London and couldn't see how that would help target potential customers, but after a while, inside myself, I had felt that I was scammed by this company, and there was nothing much else I could do. I asked for my money back and they said that wasn't possible since they had already started optimising for a term I hadn't agreed... Anyway, several months later and my website still appears nowhere near the first page of the lame and useless "overseas property London" term...

There was also an issue with the company adding so many useless terms to me with my sponsored links and after lengthy calls to this guy, I got him to change them.

They have done absolutely none of its initial promises and this has set me back the money I paid them and potential lost revenue of several thousand pounds, as that same money, if it was used to the terms I was initially promised (without the london fixed on to it and having it there on the front page of that search term within the time quoted.. I know I would have comfortably generated at least three sales, which is the amount I'm claiming for on top of the costs I've already been charged.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT BLACK WIDOW INTERNET and SCOTT SMITH ARE TRADING UNDER NEW NAME CALLED SEO Mission Control »01 June 201001/06/20101

SEO Mission Control – please do not use this company for any web development work as it is a phoenix company of Black Widow Internet/Crystal Clear Digital (Global) Solutions and Digispike. These companies went into liquidation on the 25th May 2010 with £349,640 debt, leaving many companies who have paid upfront for their sites to be developed out of pocket. If you would like to learn more about how these companies operate then please Google Black Widow Internet.

SEO Mission Control operates from the same offices of the previously liquidated companies. Cybernetmedia.co.uk do not provide the services that they offer. Services are offered with a "refund" policy which clearly doesn't exist as we've been chasing a refund for weeks and do not ever get a return phone call or email. Stay well clear.

WEB DESIGN SCAM www.sexyseo.co.uk »10 feb 201022/02/20100
SEO SCAM www.sexyseo.co.uk Miss Tarnia Jones

This female scam artist waffles on about scams yet she is the biggest seo scam on the net.
She states the following:
"I am always happy to provide you with a list of clients that you can ask for feedback and also their positions on google."

I soon found out that these people are her friends and family and part of this seo scam.

She sounds plausible but this is to suck you in for thousands of pounds of your money.
Genuine seo companies do not waffle on about scams.
Genuine seo firms provide a business address.

This woman has no business address, and no trading details.

Why would you want to give money to a firm who hides their details.

Goods not received »24/08/201019/10/20100

In August I received a phone call from someone claiming to represent a web design company. He told me he could get my website onto the first page of Google and three other search engines. They started the work on 24/08/2010 taking the price of the job from me. The cost was £411.25. They said it would take a month to set it up. I have tried to contact them since then with little luck. There was one time when the mobile phone was answered at around 11pm, but that is all. Then he said sorry for the delay and would get onto it in the morning. I heard nothing. I have now discovered they have moved from their address in Cleveland, and nobody knows where they are. The owner of the firm, Assured Web Developments, is known as Charlie Manners. I have tried to contact him and another man by the name of Kerry Booth, but have got nowhere. I wonder if you can give me some advice on how to be reimbursed for a job I haven't received.

Ongoing complaint »23/8/1124/08/20110
I complained about this company last year and they asked me to remove my complaint and that they would give me a year's free advertising to compensate for the money I had paid but not got any results as promised. I was promised Page 1 on Google for 10 keywords. I could not afford to pay again so I agreed but it has taken them 9 months to even get anything done and I have still not had any results.

I have phoned and emailed many times but not had any responses. I am totally fed up with this company. They take your money fast enough and then sit and do nothing. They must be stopped. They have ruined my business.

SocialMediAdd.com Adds Fake Twitter Followers, Facebook Fans, Linkedin Connections »12/02/1122/12/20110

SocialMediadd.com claims to be a marketing company that specializes in social media. They advertise that they will add likes to your Facebook

Fan page, connections to your Linkedin account, subscribers to your YouTube account and followers to your Twitter account. Their website states

that they follow all Facebook, Linkedin and Twitter rules and regulations and claims that the company is a member of various trade

organizations, including the American Marketing Association.

Using a discount coupon they sent via email, I purchased a Twitter package from SocialMediadd.com on Dec 2, 2011; the package was for 1000

Twitter followers. During the first three weeks they added only 38 followers to the account so I contacted support. Support gave a an answer

that I knew to be lie so I contacted the CEO, Brandon, via email and told him they needed to complete the job prior to the 28th. He did not

respond to my email, but by the next day they had added 1049 Twitter followers to the account, however, when I checked the followers it was

apparent that they were not real.

I've worked in web development and internet marketing industry since the mid 1990's and employed as an internet marketing director or search

marketing company manager since 1998. In order to facilitate my job I use several browser plugins that add data to the Twitter timeline. The

additional data makes it quite obvious when users are fake, and routinely use it to verify that department employees are getting quality

followers for their accounts. As SocialMediAdd was adding the first 38 accounts I checked them and they appeared to be legit, however the last

1000+ were not.

Socialmediadd.com lists their office address on www.socialmediadd.com as being
4501 Magnolia Cove Dr #201Kingwood, TX 77345. When I looked it up on Google Maps Century 21 is shown iin that location instead of

SocialMediAdd.com. streetview was not available so I called the business at that location. They have never heard of SocialMediAdd. I also

contacted AMA to see if they really are members and I'm waiting for their response.

The company claims to be experienced, however their domain www.socialmediadd.com was registered for th

Watch out Ranklogix is an online scam »6/6/201327/07/20130
I recently lost USD2000 to this company after they promised to help me build my site ranking on SEO. I asked them to show me where I can see the prepared links with my keywords in them after a period of time, this way, I would tell if they were really genuine.
What raised the alarms for me was the fact that I received my first report from them, and the report that was not satisfactory and it was full of discrepancies!
The links were incomplete! I kept calling Mr. Mark Kreischer (who also uses the name Chris Barnes) because I felt they did not meet what they had promised instead they choose to wriggle and squirm. After patiently waiting, I got an email from Chris Barnes saying that the results can be seen only after 8months!!
That is when I figured out that this was an SEO scam so be warned, Ranklogix is not genuine!!!
Below are their details:
