SCAMMED - Still no bookings »15th August 200924/09/20099

I found an advertisement in the Daily Echo whilst I was searching for a new job. I sent them my CV and within half an hour I had a phone call from them. I had a sort of interview over the phone and was told that if I signed up for the executive companion package, I would earn £800 for 3 hours work, with an earning of £250 per hour after. I would also be able to work abroad for this. All I had to do was pay them £700 for my advertising.

I was told I had 2 bookings confirmed and that there was no way they could cancel on me, so I paid them the money thinking I would make my money back straight away. They were so convincing, and told me time and again that I would have no problem getting bookings because I was stunning and young and that there was plenty of work in my area. In fact, they said I was expected to do 2 bookings a week.

Mysteriously, the 2 bookings I had were not known about. I have been phoning them every week since the middle of August and they always say the same thing.......you've had plenty of interest but no confirmation, we're working really hard for you, please be patient. And I can never seem to speak to the person who originally recruited me.

I ended up sending them a nasty email saying I had contacted trading standards and that even though we didn't have a written contract a verbal one was as legally binding. I got a reply saying that they were doing eveything they could for me and that they would suggest me changing my photos as they weren't very good. When I sent them the photos originally, the girl said I was beautiful and that I would get bookings on my photos alone!!

I then got a phone call the next day saying that they had noticed I had no bookings from them (funny as I've been calling them every week) and that would I be interested in being a 'Constant Companion' as there was a guy who was interested in me. I said yes, and they actually asked me for more money!! You don't even want to know what I said to her, I was livid!

DO NOT give this company money, it is a big fat scam and it should be illegal. They only get away with it because they display terms and conditions on their website, which you don't actually get to see until you've paid. These T & C's state that it is not their fault if you don't get bookings and bookings are not guaranteed. I strongly believe that they do not intend to provide you with the service they offer you - I am an attractive 21 year old girl who gets plenty of offers to be taken out just by walking down the street without having to pay £700 first to get a bloody date!!!! Getting bookings should be a doddle for me. I want justice, I told them it was all the money I had and I even said I wasn't gonna pay them. They reassured me they would look after me. If I don't get this money back soon, I am going to be living on the street. They are liars and cheats - DO NOT TRUST THEM!!!!!!

Don't hire this male escort Brian vipmaleescort.com I've since heard male escort Brian allegedly has STD, Gonorrhea, herpes, who knows what he has.

It seems conciergedumonde.com is the culprit for churning out males escorts with Diseases.

I think it would have been fair to tell me before I paid him £150.

Scam »June - Present 200929/10/20091

After booking up with this agency, I am now £2,500 pounds out of pocket, plus  £550 membership free.

I could believe my amazement when they informed me a minor celebraty wanted to use my services. I had to put down a £1,500 bond for a confidentiality agreement, which I would recieve back once signing, which was promised within a week.

After telling me the bond was the wrong amount, I reluctantly paid another £1000 in two £500 installments, to speed up proceedings and get my money back asap.

Its now nearly November, and as a student I have a lot of debt, and still have not recieved my money back. I am planning to take legal action against first4companions. Any publicity, through others going through the same or the media would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know and get in contact with me.

I have recently been ill off work which meant i was lacking money for rent! At desperate measures i found a companion website with high pay! Easy money i thought...! I signed up and they told me i had a guaranteed booking the next day! i was over the moon until they said i had to pay a £250 registration fee! Well as i had a booking i just assumed i could easily make that back the next day. So i paid it and waited to hear from them. The next day (day of booking) i didnt hear anything and was ringing all day waiting for a response. Nothing. Then 15 minutes before i was due to work i had a call saying the client had cancelled but he will re-arrange. i havent heard anything since and everytime i ring i am told i will get a call back. still nothing!! now i am down £250 on my rent and already in debt trying to pay for things.

Adult movies - ripped off »November 201127/04/20121

After discovering an ad in the Brighton Friday Ad, I decided to give the number on it a call. It was for a company, Select69, ( http://select69.com/ ) that provided work for people as 'extras' in adult movies. I phoned up, spoke to a woman named Robbie and gave her details such as height, hair colour, eye colour and so forth. After finishing this, she mentioned that there was a fee of £295 for three months membership, so that they could advertise. They justified this as to avoid time wasters. I was guaranteed work and told that there was already 8 roles suitable for me (based from the information given. I told them I'd think about it, and the following day I'd made the deposit of £295 into their Natwest account. A few days passed without hearing anything from them, eventually I was told they had found 2 jobs for me, one in Kent and another elsewhere, yet I had to pay £600 (each) to accept these! When I asked why, they said it was 'out of their area'. I declined, and a few weeks later I received another call for a 'course' that will 'guarantee me work' that will cost another £300. They provided me with no work (which they told me before paying they already had roles suited for me), and the 'work' they did find, for some reason I needed to pay more to accept. As well as the £295 paid directly to them, there was also £30 for a certificate of an STI test required to work in the adult industry and the costs of all phone calls made to them chasing them up on work.

scam »June 201216/06/20121
An advert was in the The mirror newspaper for extras in adult movies. The company was select69.com,phone number 08449934569. When i initially rang them, they told that there would be an registration fee of £290 for 3 months), and they would aim to get me work within a week. I spoke to two ladies called Brook and Summer. I paid the fee as I was told that they would require no other payments, and the "work" they would provide me with was very high paid, and there was already jobs available for me in my area, and they contact me in a few days to be put forward for these. However I wasn't informed that any jobs that they offered me I had to pay to accept, this varied from £2,500 down to £700. I paid them £700 as i was told that I would have work for the next day and the payment was £4,000 more than enough to cover the £700. However soon as I had made the payment they said that they were unable to process my details on time, so would rearrange the job, they never contacted me to rearrange anything and every time I've tried contacting Brook/Summer they were either out of the office or would ring me back and never did. Its apparent to me now this was a scam as they would ring me like crazy before I made any payments then once I did stopped calling me. Has anyone any advice on what I should do to get my money back?

Scam of £500 »22/08/0916/10/20090
I saw the advert for First4companions on total jobs.com back in August, when I was about to be made redundant, so I sent along my c.v. and was contacted by a lovely lady called Tara. I ws informed that she needed to take some details from me, to make sure that there are matches in the area for me, so that they can get me out straight away. I provided her with all the details and was informed that she had 12 matched for me. I asked when I would start, at which point I was informed that I needed to pay £500 as a registration fee. Not thinking much of it, I informed her that I could not afford this, at which point, she said the £250 will be fine and she will circulate my details and I should be working asap.

Soon after payment was made (copy payment slip can be provided if required), I heard nothing more, until I had a call from another person called Dawn in their executive department, promising that they had had a lot of enquires about me and would like to have me out with their european clients where I would be earning another £800 per booking for an extra £250, which is discounted as I was new and had had a lot of interests.

After sending these monies, I have tried to contact either girls, to no avail. Infact, I have even sent emails re: work I was promised and was never fulfilled and received no response. Infact, it ha gotten to the point where I am so fraustrated, I was crying on the phone to them. I will be doing an email to them today asking for my money back. I don't suppose I will get any response as I have had no response from any other emails. I would like some help in getting this done please.

Ripped off by First4companions »30/06/0920/11/20090

I called First4companions after seeing their advetisement in the Daily Star and i spoke to a lady called 'Liz' on the phone for at least 45 mins. The next day i borrowed the £279 off my niece for the 'so called' admin costs and i payed the company the money through my nieces bank account via online bank transfer. After they had confirmed that they had recieve the money, they gave me a password and user name for their website, so i could post up some photos of myself for my profile. But when i tried the username and password it didn't work. So i rang the company and they said to email the photos to their tech dept and they will add them on my profile. So i did just that. And ever since, i've not heard anything from them and when i try calling them no one answers the phone. I would like the money back a.s.a.p!!

Promise of work »2009/1018/08/20110
The escort vacancy was advertised locally when I was living in Aberdeen and I was in desperate need of extra cash. I applied by borrowing money from a friend. Each time I got a call from the company promising fantastic work opportunites with benefits but it would cost me so much to cover insurances etc and my committment to their high profile customers. From Aug '09 to Jul '10 I paid them in excess of £6,000. Now all I want is to get this money back from a scam outfit and forget all about my stupidity that was earned the very hard way for being to greedy in the first place.

Cheating Bad Attitude and Wrong Guidance

This incident took place yesterday (Wednesday the 19/05/2010)

I had purchased tickets of from Qatar Airways for flight to Mumbai for my wife and child to travel on emergency for medical treatment of my child as advised by HMC. I had fixed a doctors appointment in Mumbai for 20/05/2010 and my child. I dropped my wife and child at the Airport and they cleared the immigration at 9pm as I received a message from the Matrash. My wife went at the boarding Gate (Gate No 14) at around 9.13pm, the staff at the counter tells her that the Flight has already departed, please note this point the flight time is 9.35pm, my wife calls me at 9.20pm and let me to speak to someone who is on the counter, he is not ready to tell his name and speaks in a bad way, I try to convince him that there is still time for departure, he is not ready to listen to anything and asks my wife and child to go back home, the same person at 9.30 asks for boarding of my wife and child and writes a remark on the boarding pass now show on gate and writes the time 9.29pm, my wife tells him if I was late you did not announce my name or my daughters name, he rudely replies Qatar Airways does not have that policy of announcing name, you can go home now, please see the behavior of a counter staff, any way my wife and child had to come back to arrivals, where the immigration stamp had been cancelled, and had to wait for an hour for the off loaded baggage. (NOW I WOULD TELL YOU SOMETHING KNOWN BY SOURCES, WHY DID THIS HAPPEN, TWO QATARWAYS STAFF FORM LOST AND FOUND DEPARTMENT, WERE BOARDED AND GIVEN THE PREFERENCE TO TRAVEL, AND YOUR FULL PAID PASSENGER WAS LEFT BEHIND. I would request you to take a swift action on this matter, I have purchased new tickets for today where I had to pay nearly double the amount I paid yesterday becos the same class was not available.
I have the boarding passes but I think there is no attachment option. Below please find the reference of the travelling passengers.
