I began my claim over a year ago with this company and i still have not received any payment from them.

I paid them a £750 upfront fee which they told me would be refunded to me should there not be a claim available to me.

I have contacted them on numerous occasions only to be told the same nonsense each time, "we are awaiting documentation from your mortgage provider".

This company have as all the necessary documentation sent off to them from my bank, and still, i am waiting on my refund!

I am beginning to wonder, have i been ripped off???

no money should have been taken from me as this is supposed to be a "no win, no fee", service. What a joke.

furthermore, i have just emailed the company and have had the email returned to me undelivered! Is this company finished?

Not sure if these guys are on the level but I called them after hearing thier ad on the radio. They explained the process and all sounded good. I sent the lit and they called me back as agreed telling me that I had a strong case for writing off 20K off my mortgage. GREAT I thought. I had to pay £500 which be refunded if solicitor said the case was not 100% water tight to win otherwise I do not get anything back but get my 20K written off. I presume they back date it and get the monies plus fees and thats how they make thier money. They said take 9 weeks to give me an answer... After Dec I call every week between 2-5 times chasing whats happening. Everytime I am told they will call me back but never do... not sure how long to hold out for before asking for my monies back. I did pay via credit card but still no service to what was agreed which I do have in writing.

Consumer Advice UK was a trading style of 7 Marketing which has closed.


 


I became suspicious of 7 Marketing towards the end of 2009 when certain things they were saying to me didn’t quite add up. Point in case: - I was contacted on 22 November 2009 by a representative of Consumer Advice UK saying that the Supreme Court had ruled favourably for consumers regarding excessive bank fees and that if I paid £100 now they would be able to claim back on all these fees for me. This was the RED FLAG for me - I knew that the ruling wasn’t due until 26 November 2009.


 


This led me to do some research on this company and its directors. The Directors of Consumer Advice UK are / were:

The maze of appointments,resignations and re-appointments by these directors within these companies is suspicious and would lead me to believe that there is a deliberate tactic to confuse, mislead and deceive.


 


Consumer Advice UK worked with Chatwins Solicitors (01792 224 060) who would make legal representation on behalf of Consumer Advice UK clients. I recently contacted Chatwins Solicitors (Alison Daniel) and I was advised that Consumer Advice UK is no longer on their panel of referrals. Unfortunately I was not on Chatwins database as a client, contrary to what I had been told by Consumer Advice UK.


 


Bottom Line: I believe there are about 8000 clients of 7 Marketing who each paid a minimum of about £200. These guys are scammers and need to be stopped before they do it again.

WE CLAIM U GAIN cold called my home, asking if I had any loans, I told them yes a secured loan with First Plus, they told me they were 99% sure I have been mis-sold PPI, they asked if one of their reps could come to my home to discuss making a claim, I said ok. Guy arrived looked at all the paperwork, said I had a good claim. I signed form giving them authority to contact First Plus on my behalf. Four weeks later WE CLAIM U GAIN sent me a letter stating that First Plus had made an offer which they recommended I refuse,( I was never advised what the offer was ), they sent me a form to complete to be sent on to the Financial Ombudsman. Four months later I rang WE CLAIM U GAIN for an update as I had heard nothing I was told " If you want to get an update on your claim contact First Plus. I did contact First Plus, they advised me my claim had been upheld, cheques for refund of my PPI premiums paid plus interest and had been sent to WE CLAIM U GAIN, I attempted to contact WE CLAIM U GAIN, answering service only, left numerous messages asking someone to call finally 3 weeks later someone called, and advised me that they had recieved cheques from First Plus for £3302.38 , the PPI total £9.965.00 had been removed from my loan, and £3302.38 was a refund of premiums paid to date + interest, however their fee was £4750, so I needed to pay them £1450 pounds !!! Ironically WE CLAIM U GAIN stated on the complaint form sent to the Financial Ombudsman, that I had expierienced financial hardship paying the PPI premiums and any compensation should be paid to me and not taken off my loan, I was never advised of what offers First Plus had made,never consulted, WE CLAIM U GAIN agreed to the settlement knowing that I would have to pay them nearly £1500, if not they would charge me 5% a day interest on top !!, they were meant to be working on my behalf, they have £3302.38 not enough, all they are interested in is getting a large fee, and they don't care how they get it, no communication with client, no updates, no correspondence nothing, I went down the road of claiming back PPI hoping I might get some cash back, as a single mum struggling to pay a mortgage and all that goes with that, on top I now have a company demanding £1450, I thought when you were successful with a PPI claim you were better off clearly not, steer well clear of WE CLAIM U GAIM

In may 2009 I received a phone call from "claimed4u"( apparently that was the name of the company), this guy named curtis gave me information about the kind of thing they would for people who had taken any finance or credit cards before april 2007, certainly it did apply to me and he assured me that they would sort everything out if not i would get a refund,my case was given to someone called sarah, who sent me some documents in which i have to give full details of my credit cards, also signing to authorize them to deal with the card company, i sent everything back to her spoke to her on the phone the same day, and she said , i just to wait and she'd be in touch... IT NEVER HAPPENED! i have been trying to call them but there is either no answer or the phone is engaged.. I would like to know where and how i can make a formal complaint about this people , if anyone knows please let me know.

Kerobo contacted me regarding unenforceable credit agreements. I agreed with them at a cost of £595 per card to claim on MBNA and HSBC. They claim to have found breaches and therefore making the contracts unenforceable. However, I was originally told that they would make sure no credit references would go on my file, and that the card companies would deal direct with them. I was hounded by HSBC daily when i stopped my card payments to them. My case for MBNA was passed ATM solicitors. Little did i know that they had only just started in line of business and took them 6 months to put test cases forward which were declined and now they want to pass me to another agency Legal Direct at a further cost of £595 plus VAT. I have tried to contact ATM over the past few weeks with no success. As for the HSBC Kerobo did say in our last email 6 months ago that they were still dealing with it. No further contact. I have looked into claiming my costs back but have been told that the contract says they will identify breaches, which they claim they have so makes it difficult to claim back the fees that I have paid.

I paid the above company £99.99 on August 8th 2008 to investigate the set-up of my Nationwide Visa Creditcard. The money, which they said was reclaimable from Nationwide Creditcard, should my creditcard have been set up correctly and no charges could be reclaimed,was to pay their soliciltors who would need to contact Nationwide to ask for back statements over a six year period.I understand from the Ministry of Justice that the company has now been de-registered and they are unreachable at their previous address & phone number.What can I do now?

I contacted a solicitor and got my deposit back. 6 months later I phoned to see what was happeniong and was told my claim had been closed down.It has been restarted but have not heard anything since.

The company asked me mycredit card numbers and their security numbers giving me the impression that they were going to claim minimum �£49000 pounds of missold PPI's .Infact they took �£14600 out of the credit cards and told me after they taken the money out . When i asked them to put it back they past me to diffrent department to give me the assurance that under no circumtances i was going to lose my money . In the two weeks i have contacted them to put the money back to the credit cards but they played with time by telling me by January the latest after the judicial review it would have been cleared . I still asked for my money back but this time i was told i could have 5 claims's money back which they didn't have the account numbers for. Intead they send me forms to ask for authority to obtain the account numbers. They never stuck by their word. I told them to put the money back into the credit cards and now they are blackmailing me with 7-8 thousand pounds solicitours fees . I am sure in one year they never even recovered the account numbers for some of the claim. Their estimate has been so high for their own purposes to hold such a vast amount of money that 2 Credit cards that was estimated aproximately �£4000 has been settled at 229.60p Their right of aproximately �£67 which is %30 but they got the chick of holding the amount of which they were estimating. I have been telling them you are putting me in trouble with credit card payments .Mortgage payments and my debts all because of you they just offer me apparently a favour by holding onto �£10 000 pounds for service thet they didn't provide me and to top up blackmailing me if i pull out they will keep 7-8 thousand pounds solicitours fees for just posting 10 forms which i havee filled.
On top of this so far i have paid in excess �£1400 interest payments and they are telling me there is no time limit to period i have to wait and they will hold on to the money

I was cold called on 17th February 2011, by Dain Jones of wefightanyclaim, in the end he convinced me that Barclaycard, MBNA and Tesco had hidden my PPI Payments. He also said what haveI got to lose if I do not win as it is a “No Win NO Fee” service. He also put my husband's mortgage on file. I can only claim a refund of PPI on a DFS loan which to this day I have not received a penny.
After agreeing to go ahead he asked for £1210 00 for their services I was then put through to Ross Nicholson who asked for the commission for my PPI of £3329.15, a total payment of £4539.15.
By this time I had been on the phone over 1 hour and put the phone down and Dain Jones rang back and took the details for the payment to be made.
I have received no acknowledgement of this amount and have not received any refunded PPI or refund of any nature..
As Joe Calzage backed this company I thought it would be ok. I received the docs on 19th February 2011 I returned them about a week later by this time the money had been taken from my account I received letters back from wefightanyclaim, saying that there was no PPI on my 3 cards and I could not find any proof for the credit cards. But the DFS loan I had proof for which I sent to wefightanyclaim
I rang three times that year and each time they told me that everything was all in hand and the DFS loan claim was with the FSA.
Then in February 2012 I rang three times more within two or three days and got no reply, so I sent a letter requesting cancellation of their service.
A Ben Foster rang me in early April, and said that the service was poor he will send more forms. I did not want this as there is no PPI on the cards and they had full details of the DFS loan anyway.
I received the forms and they had sent one for the mortgage which I also did not want. Included in the £4539.15 was a charge for investigating the mortgage, which I had specifically asked to ignore.
It was then I felt I had been conned out of my money for sure. So I cattempted to cancel again by letter They had charged me for a service I did not want them to do and I had notreceived any refund of PPI on the DFS loan that I had sent them full details of already.
Julian Philips sent me a letter saying they had done nothing wrong and offered me half my money back and continue to pursue my claims that I had sent in cancellations for.
I wrote back saying no and requested all my money back.
He sent another letter saying they would charge me £1400 00 for their services
So this No Win No Fee service was going to cost me £1400.
On the basis that this company had not achieved anything for me at all I call this a scam and have reported it to Action Fraud, the Trading Standards and the Sun newspaper.

i applied for a loan with yes loans it was a declined unless i could provide a guarantor and they asked if i had any credit cards and give me some bull about them being unenforceable and me like a fool agreed to pay a fee of 1200 with 150 per month instalments they then told me to stop paying the credit card company and it wouldnt affect my credit file as once they had wrote the company it was illegal for them to put anything on it well 4 years later i still have debt collectors chasing me and have to enter into a debt management plan i still have the letters where they said it was on a no win no fee basis and if unsucsessfull i would get my money back which obviously dont look like its gonna happen

Contacted in July 2009 by Aaron of Core Management (I believe this is the new name for Claimed4U about whom there are already complaints on here.)  Was told that they could look into having my credit cards written off as they may not be compliant with FSA regs. I was a bit dibious, but they assured me that if there was no cliam my fee would be returned. The main reason I thought they were above board is that they quoted me a registration number with the government claims regulation body which i checked on the government website. I have since found this means very little, it is basically something a claims business registers, and it is only after they have been reported that they get taken off.  So I paid £1800.00 to get 6 cards looked into. Can't believe in hindsight I did that. Paid this on 21st July 2009. Since then have had no contact from them. Have tried to phone, but the call is not answerd. I have managed to get in touch with with the company that let the office to them, and they inform me the office is now empty.


I am now pretty sure this company is acting fraudulently, if they even still exist at all, however they may now be under a new name.

In October 2009 I contacted Kerobo after hearing their radio adverts stating that they could overturn credit card debt and loans which were taken out pre-2006. They were very positive, stating that there was a 97% chance that the companies I am in debt to had breached financial regulations and that these debts were likely to be written off. They told me that this would take 9 weeks for the process to be carried out, but they had to take my fees up front, which would be repaid if they did not win my case. I paid this - BIG MISTAKE!!!

They told me in March/April this year that my loan with Egg Finance was unenforceable and I should stop paying it, however Egg maintain this is not the case. I contacted the Ministry of Justice who confirm that Egg are correct and that Kerobo have been suspended from operating.

I cannot get to speak to anyone in authority at Kerobo to get my money back, and if they do not respond following a recorded delivery letter requesting this, I will have to go through the Small Claims Court - I am not hopeful, as I suspect they will go out of business soon, and where does that leave me and others like me?

I paid £995 up front to Kerobo Claims to clear 2 credit cards which they told me were un enforceable as they were taken out before 2006.I was assured they both would be cleared no problem!
They passed on my details and original credit card agreements,which were also sent to me,to ATM solicitors in Sale who then sent me paperwork to fill in,which i did and returned to them promptly.
Having not heard anything for a few months(i was told it would take 3-6 months to clear),i have today received letters from the solicitors ATM that my file is now closed as they have received insufficient paperwork,including my original agreements,from Kerobo Claims,and they are not now taking on anymore claims from Kerobo!
This has now left me in limbo really,because it looks like the cards won't be sorted and i have been relieved of £995,which i will be looking to get refunded as my 'claim' wasn't successful!

I paid Kerobo £345 to overturn my credit card account with MBNA as they stated that having received the necessary documentation from MBNA there were flaws in the contract and therefore it was not legal. Now 14 months later I have finally received a letter from ATM Solicitors who acted on behalf of Kerobo stating that their claim was unsuccessful in court and that the only route now was to appeal. Kerobo therefore have been unsuccessful in their attempt to overturn the MBNA account and as the contract clearly states "On a no win no fee" agreement, I am entitled to have my money refunded. I have tried to contact Kerobo who now only seem contactable by a single email address. No matter what,I will take action to see that justice is done. There are many innocent and trusting people who have been conned in the same way and measures must be put in place to ensure this does not happen in future.

I paid Kerobo £350 in June 2009 to overturn my credit card account with Natwest as they stated that having received the necessary documentation from Natwest there were flaws in the contract and therefore it was not legal. For months I rang them nearly everyday and I was told someone would me back or they were in the middle of changing computer systems. In Sept 2010 I discovered when looking on the internet that people were rasing doubts about them. The telephone numbers and e-mail addresses I have no longer work.

He is a "cash for crash" con merchant and sets up dodgy accidents then sells their details. Beware - do not let this man handle your claim! Currently under investigation by the Ministry of Justice and BBC Watchdog - avoid!
