We brought a brand new Hyundai Tucson 4wd Limited on the 30/06/08. We have had a change of circumstances and we are relocating abroad in a few weeks.
We paid £19445 for this vehicle including running boards, we have ask this company to buy back the vehicle, of which used ones are on the forecourt at between £15,500 upto £16,700.
They have offered £8000 for the car, Thats £11445 loss in 8 weeks and 4 days, £190.75 a day depreciation. Where is the justice in this. More to the point why are they being allowed to get away with.
We are also contacting Hyundai directly to see if they can intervine as this is a new dealership

[16/09/2008] James Alfred: what do you expect when you buy a new car, all cars lose a massive amount as soon as you drive them off the forcourt.
As well as that you brought a 4x4 which is one of the worst markets at the moment.
I feel it is not the dealers fault but your stupidity!!
They can offer you what they like i know i had another make of car from the same dealer and only lost 1K in 12 months which works out less than new tyres and a service. Maybe you should choose you choice of car better next time.
