UPON OPENING THE PACKAGING I NOTICED THAT THE PRODUCT THEY SENT WAS OUT OF DATE!!
I EMAILED ADVSING THEM AND THEY HAVE SIMPLY IGNORED MY REQUEST FOR THEM TO COLLECT THEIR OUT OF DATE PRODUCT AND REDELIVER.
THEY ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT BY TELEPHONE AND IGNORE EMAILS.
I UNDERSTAND THAT LOTS OF PEOPLE HAVE ORDERED WITHOUT HAVING HAD THEIR GOODS DELIVERED.
I HAVE LODGED A COMPLAINT WITH TRADING STANDARDS IN GLASGOW AND HOPE THEM OTHER WILL DO THE SAME AND POST ON FACE BOOK WARNING NOT TO USE THIS SUPPLIER AT ANY COSTS!

| I paid £399 to this company and was promised work in the bradford and leeds area, i spoke to a 2 ladies who kept fobbing me off and never returned my call, they asked me to email them pictures of myself which was then put on there website, i was given a member number and password to login and view my profile then after a few weeks i could no longer get on the website has it had gone and the telephone number that i had was disconnected, i have recently tried to ring that number and its connected to a different country i paid the money into a natwest account (account num 18680186) (sort code 602477) has anyone had there money back and how did they go about it? i still have the reciept from the bank from which i got when i paid it in to the account??

I called Yes Loans to enquire about their loan service. I answered some simple questions & he said I was accepted definitely for a loan. I had to give my debit card number for a loan payment fee. I said there may not be enough money in the account to take it so he said it's ok, he would only use it to verify that I had a bank account & there would be no fee taken if I didnt take a loan out. I gave the details and a payment has been taken. I have tried about 20 times to call them, they either cut you off when you say you want a refund, or they put you on hold onto a line that never gets answered, one time I was on for 40 minutes (at 10p a minute). They are rude, obnoxious, unprofessional & con artists. I have not taken up any loan, I have not authorised this payment & I have been incredibly misled. They have taken £69.50 from my acocunt. I called my bank to help & they put me through to Yes Loans who then put me on the never ending phone line!! I have emailed them 4 times, sent a recorded delivery letter, asking for my money back as well as all the calls. No response!

I made an application for a loan with an online service, received a text and called the number, where I was told I had been accepted for a loan and just needed to pay admin fee of £55.00, and that within 3-5 working days the money would be in my account. Our holiday settlement date is this week, so we decided to transfer the money into Virgins account and transfered the total amount via internet banking. We were told that the payment could not be processed, so thinking the amount was too great we started to transfer a smaller amount. Guess what, the first amount went out after all, plus an overpayment of £2000. Have Virgin brocken the law by their faulty payment system? Will Virgen pay the overdraft charges? On 13th May 2010 at approximately 22.42pm I parked on Park Court, Uxbridge. Leaving my car I walked past a car with two guys inside of with their side lights on watching me as I parked. I returned to my car at 12.00am to realise it was gone. After a call to the police assuming it was stolen (with those two dodgy guys in that car on my mind) my car had not been tracked to be dropped off at any local pound. Later in the morning I called the Trace number again to have confirmed that my car was towed. I was given the number of the tow company. I had to make an appointment to meet the tow people to collect my car on 14/05/10 at 3pm at a location which was not a property; it was at a petrol station as this company I think does not have an actual premise. On arriving at the location a man comes out of the same car I saw parked near to where I parked the previous night. I was forced to pay £370 to have my car released. Before paying the sum I was shown the Warning Notice (although on the warning ntoice it states a max of £300 to be charged - I had contacted the company to confirm pick of my car less than 12hours after towing). Time of clamp: 22.46(4min after I parked; is questionable if I was actually clamped, It is highly likely that I was towed straight away). They claimed I had parked on a private road and that it was illegal to park where I had. What I feel is more illegal is them watching me park in a so called 'illegal' spot and clamping and/or towing my car within minutes. Returning to the location there was no visible signage stating it is a private road and the tow notice was in very small print, high on the wall of a building opposite (across the street) to where I had parked. I have the details of the car watching me park and instigating the tow, the SIA number issuing ticket, photos of the parking location and copies of correspondence. I have just finished university and am now out of pocket and my girlfriend with a baby on the way. I need justice against this so called company. I went on the internet looking for part time jobs to supplement my current income as i am struggling financially and i found this escorting site which i applied for . | This all started on 5/5/2010 when i found a company on the internet trading as Reconditioned-engines.co.uk, who quoted me 1296 to reconditioned my engine block after the pistons had broke, i paid the amount over the phone via credit card(thankfully), and they then gave me a collection date for the pick up of the engine, however to start with the courier turned up at my home address instead of the garage, finally 4 days later the engine was picked up and delivered to the company, after around 10 calls a day trying to speak with the manager ryan, to find out when the engine will be ready and what the issues were, he eventually rang me back stating it had a cracked head gasket and it would be ready for dispatch on 24/05/2010, however after spending several hours on the phone today to random people who haven't a clue whats going on and transfer me either to a constantly ringing number or keep saying the only person i can speak to about the engine is either out, on lunch not here,or too busy. After researching on the internet(which i should have done before hand), i find all these comments relating to this dreadful company. I am going to try ringing in the morning then in no joy(which i doubt there will be) move onto trading standards, and citizens advice, i have rung mastercard who i paid the amount on and advised me they are allowed 30 days from payment to do the job. So i have to wait until 05/06/2010 to process a dispute with them. Can anyone please help me with advice on what action to take and who to speak to, this company is a joke and should not be allowed to carry on with this bogus work and awful service.

Ordered a tap from them and explained that I needed it by a specific date. Was told that this was no problem as long as I agreed to pay an additional 24.68 for delivery. Tap arrived a day late after the plumber had left and paperwork that accompanied it indicated that it had only been dispatched the previous day. They eventually had their courier collect the tap but then stared the fun and games of trying to obtain a refund. To be a telesales person at this company it is a pre-requisite to be ignorant and rude. Although I was promised a refund at the beginning of April, as late as the end of last week nothing had been received. I have three phone lines in the office and at one stage I was calling them on all three and refused to hang up and call back until I had spoken to the manager. One of the rude sales people told me that I was being "Childish". He went on to say that it didn't matter to them if I held on as they have 12 lines, but it means that I can disrupt 25% of there business which I intend to do on a regular basis if I don't get my money back. My advise to anyone is DON'T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

We had bought a car which after 13days spat oil out over the floor, as we were off for the weekend. We rang the RAC who came and looked and decided that the oil seal or feed pipe had gone, we were towed home. We arranged for a local mechanic to look at the car, after inspection he said the seals had gone and if you replaced just those two it might put stress on the others and may go again elsewhere, so he recomended a engine remanufacturing. So after looking on the web and speaking to 3 companies the above seemed the right choice as they could A) collect from our South Glocs. home and effect the repair in 7 working days. The car was picked up and two days later a report was emailed to us, the original email quote was £1700 +VAT this had now gone up to £2338.25 inc, but if I wanted the "Additional items desirable to replace" the total would be £2832.92inc. I rang "Paul" to discuss this and to ask why some of the items were needing to be chaged as the car had been seviced only 6 months before, he got a little short and told me he did not need our work and we could go elsewhere! As we live over 100 miles away this would have been a nightmare, so we agreed and paid the full amount. Two weeks later after speaking to them I was told the car would be ready on the 18/05/2010. I got a train up to Southall, when I arrived I was told my car was not ready as they were waiting on a "Head" from Germany. I questioned this as the V6 petrol was made in the Uk and fitted to Landrovers in only Birmingham or Liverpool,Ryan agreed and thought it strange too!! Anyway rather than argue, which would not have got my car fixed, Ryan agreed as way of compensation that We could get our first 500 mile service done locally to us and the next 6000 mile service would be done by them FOC!! I did ask why I had to have a service done by them every 6000 miles as Landrover quote 12000 he said as part of the warranty ALL servicing had to be done by them. I did mention I thought this was a restrictive practice and that as long as a reputable company did the work and I could prove same there should be NO problem. Well Surprise, surprise a week later and my car is still not ready! I have rang them and they claim to be still waiting on the "Head" from Germany although I have given them the name,number of a local co.(Harrow) that has them for sale brand new and at a price £100 less then thay have charged me, so no excuse for not having car ready for tomorrow 26/05/2010. I have checked and they have rang this other co. but not ordered as yet..... We have given them till close of play tomorrow 26/05/2010 to have our car fixed as per the contract, and ready to be picked up. We have spoken to Trading stds,police and CC Co.All three are prepared to help. Maybe hell will freeze over and our car will be ready tomorrow?????UPDATE just had paul on the phone telling me I'm ignorant and trying to blackmail him and he will report me to the police to which I will get three years.... | Bought a reconditioned engine and new turbo charger in 2007. Engine failed after 6000 miles (13 months) with a diagnosis of a cracked engine block!!! Had a real fight to get the faulty engine free of charge and the cost of pulling the engine out and put the new one in. Went to court but they settled in full 3 days before the scheduledcourt hearing.
The second engine failed 18000 miles later (24 months)!! Diagnos: slipped cylinder liner creating surpressure in the cooling system, then blown head gasket. Again complained but asked for a refund this time as I have absolutely no trust in the products they supplied nor the company. Filed a court claim in July 09 in Winchster County Court clain number 9WC00718, jugement in my favor 30th April 2010 with Prestige Engine Products Ltd ordered to pay the total of £4555.58 by May 25th which they did not! Will issue Warrant of Execution on May 26th at which time the bailiffs will go knocking at their door to get payment!!
DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMANY! They are bad news! They seem to slap engines together to last barely 12 months and then claim that the warranty hasa expired!! They obviously do not want to know about the Sale of Goods Act 1979 which stipulate that a customer can claim against a supplier for up to 6 years for goods of not reasonable quality or not fit for purpose. I wonder how they have managed to stay in business that long!! Now that hey have a CCJ against them, they will have the surprise to be turned down by their bank should they require an extended overdraft facility or a loan!!
