I contacted a Lady called Lisa at adultjobsuk.com (02033725040). This internet business advertise work for socialising. I was told to send an email to lisa@adultjobs.co.uk attaching pictures of myself and giving a short description about me. Lisa called me back complimenting my pictures and said she wouldn't have a problem finding me work. I was told not to pay the registration/advertising fee until a confirmed booking had been made and paid for by the client. Lisa called me back to say advising me that I had two bookings for the weekend. I was told to pay the fee into a NatWest account. name: RB WALKER AC/N:23589914 S/C: 601904. On doing this I would be released the details of my meeting. I was also advised to get another contact no, so my clients could call me. My meeting was arranged for 20.30...no meeting took place!...by 18.45 I became suspicious as my client had rang. I called and emailed the office no answer. | I was directed to this site when I was trying to apply for a pay day loan. I discovered then a couple of days later when checking my bank acct that a payment had been taken by the loan centre for £47.50. I have exchanged about 5 e-mails with this company req my money back but they state it was a membership fee that is agreed to pay in there terms an conditions. I have rechecked there page and it states a fee of (£9.00_ and that this is only taken on a agreed date. This company is a complete rip-off and they should not be able to do this to innocent people. I was applying for the payday loan as I was short until my next pay - I'm even worse off now thanks to them!! I don't hold much hope off even getting a refund and would definately not take any kind of loan with them. Can anyone advise me of any action I can take, thanks

I signed up for the free trial not a subscrition for monthly products. A Free trial should mean a free trial not taking money outta your account. not even an email to say that you are signed up for this product. it took me about 2 hours to try an find company still looking. this is an absolute disgrace. never am I signing up for free trails again. not only that I found another company has my details for some product for diet pills billing me for £82.88 for a product I didnt even ask or enquire about a week later called FOOD BEVERAGES and CO. Had to cancel all my cards to gat this stuff sorted.

| i ordered sample of teeth whitener where i agreed to pay £3.95 for. i now have had two claims on my credit card for £60.23 on the 25/6/10 and £58.61 on 16/7/10. I have cancelled my credit card so they can not take any more money. i was not aware that this would be the case . i would never have ordered it if i had. the same has happened with GLEAMIFY. but they have only taken one payment of £49.99 so far. they also did not make you aware that this would happen. I will be reporting it to my credit card company.

i was short on cash wen my partner said to me, "why dont you become an escort but not do private bookings. so i found a site and i applied for it. filled the form out and got a telephone call from a lady called emily. we then liasoned for about a week before she asked for the payement. i couldnt come up with the whole £199 so i said could i pay £100. they said that was fine and to pay the rest when i get my first booking. i was supposed to have a booking tonight but i couldnt get hold of anyone for most of the day. now i still cant get hold of anyone and i dont think i will. so i just want to tell people stay away from ELEGANCE4HER.. they are a scam.

I applied for a loan via YES Loans & was told I had been accepted & they would transfer me to a lender. I was transferred to money worries & at no point during the aapplication was I advised I was in fact applying for debt management. After obtaining all my person details including bank & debit card details was I informed of cost & what I had apllied for. I asked & was advise no money would be taken from my account untill I signed & returned an agreement which would be sent in the post. I was sent an agreement & did not wish to proceed so did not return it. I then discovered my bank account had been debited fby £162.50. I called several times & was told someone would called back & received several callbacks that cut off after 2 - 3 rings. Then everytime i contacted them I was cut off before being transferred. I have written for refund twice & have just written again, threatening legal action through the small claims court. They are disgracefull & they should not be allowed to practice.

I worked with this plumber for 10 years; he installed underfloor heating, a boiler, helped fit my cooker, and did various small jobs.
When it came to fitting solar panels, I engaged him despite the fact that he was not the cheapest. I wanted to get a 0% loan to finance it, knowing that I'd get 50% of the cost of materials from the government. A sticking point was connecting up to the Stanley cooker (a sort of Aga) which gives a bit of hot water when the cooker's on . I lent him the installation manual, he checked with Viessman, and said that everything would be ok.
M Bages ordered the materials and wanted payment despite me telling him that I needed to get the loan first, so I had to go for a standard loan. He then turned up 4 days before I was going to UK and promptly said that I couldn't place the new cylinder where the old one was (upstairs) as it was too heavy! Under pressure, I agreed that he could put it in the cellar in my wine cave.
Two days into fitting it, he told me that he'd have to give me another estimate for connecting up to the cooker, yet this is what delayed the fitting in the first place!
I went to UK, came back to find his estimate for about half a day's work was €2600!!!
I refused to accept it, talked to my insurer about taking him to court, but, having no confidence in the french judiciary, I decided to pay him and get my all important facture to reclaim the 50% of materials.
So, I have a system that works, but the pressure fluctuates with temperature; a wine cellar that heats up, the task of removing the old system myself, and the cost of connecting up the cooker and fitting an expansion vessel.
Why did he do this to me after all this time? Maybe it was to pay for his retirement; I do not know and it has left me totally frustrated and unable to trust any artisan here.
If you engage ANY artisan whether it be plumber, electrician, builder etc demand a fully detailed estimate and talk through exactly what is included: do not assume anything, get it in writing!
Under no circumstances ask for anything extra without an estimate first; do not assume that it will be cheaper/easier because the workman is on site.

I purchased a tooth whitening teeth product from DazzlinSmile8664453661 (later discovered to be the same company as www.viviwhitesmile.com or Syndex Industries Panama S.A). The product was purchased on 17 June 2010 for $3.87 and 10 days trial was supposed to end on 27 June 2010 . I called the US and Canada customer service telephone number (1-866-777-8751 and 1-866-445-3661) they had on their website, unfortunately none of the telephone numbers on their website is functioning. On the 27 June 2010, still the product has not arrived, I called the telephone numbers again, it’s the same result, numbers cannot be connected to. So I decided to send e-mail using the e-mail I received from them to confirm my order. It is a no reply e-mail address. Hence there was no way of contacting this company whatsoever. At this stage, I started panicking and started checking the web to find alternative way of contacting DazzlinSmile8664453661 or Syndex Industries Panama or Vivid White Smile. Fortunately, I came across another telephone number (001-888-869 2674) on 28 June 2010. I called them and spoke to one of their customer service advisor named Sandra. I explained the circumstances that my product had not arrived and that I have been trying to contact them during my trial period since the 26 June 2010 but the contact telephone numbers ( US and Canada) on their website is not functioning. Therefore, I asked her to extend my trial period; she bluntly refused to help me. I asked her for the contact details (telephone numbers and e-mails) of her supervisor, she said they are not authorised to give out any contact details. I was really shocked with this statement.She said that she will transfer me to someone else who will assist with my query and she kept me on hold for 30 minutes and later hung up. On the 29 June 2010, the package eventually shows up. According to the stamp on the package, it was actually posted on the 27 June 2010, this was the same day my trial period expires. On the pack of the teeth whitening product is the website www.viviwhitesmile.com, I checked the website for any contact details, and this took me to a similar website but with slightly different telephone number. I contacted this company; unfortunately it is the same people that I have been speaking to since 28 June 2010.It was a very big surprise to know that DazzlinSmile8664453661 has collected the sum of $87.47 on 26 June2010 and 16 July 2010 $87.47 total of three transactions the 1st being for $3.87, which I did authorise. The 2nd transaction which was a fraudulent transaction was on the 26 June 2010 $87.47 and 3rd on 16 July 2010 $87.47. I had not authorised this transactions, had not ordered anything and did not receive any goods. | I was a victim of the Tenretni scam and got in touch with smallclaims with a view to making a section 75 claim against my credit card.
I was in e-mail contact with tony fischer and gave all details (amounts, dates, method of payment etc.) to him so he could assess my claim. He said we could go ahead.
I paid the fee and we exchanged a few more e-mails and then I heard nothing for a couple of months. When I called he seemed unfamiliar with my case and would call back in the evening. No phone call came. All my e-mails and phone calls have since gone unanswered.
I have since found out (from someone who actually knows what they are doing) that I wouldn't be able to claim against my CC company anyway because I paid through a third party ie. Paypal and that would invalidate my claim against my CC company. So much for the advice that I could make a claim.
So basically, it appears that I have paid to make a claim that could never succeed, and the claim was never made anyway. A refund would be in order but I shan't be expecting one due to the service already recieved. | |||||||||

On 21st May 2009, after 3 appointments EDF energy finally fitted what they claimed was a meter for their 20/20 deal (20% reduction in electricity prices between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. weekdays and from 10 a.m. Friday evening until 6 a.m. Monday morning). After MANY telephone calls to various departments of EDF energy to tell them that it was not a 20/20 meter but an economy 7 meter, they have now, in their infinite wisdom charged me on the economy 7 tariff for a whole year instead of the 20/20 tariff agreed. The whole idea of me getting 20/20 was because I use all of my electricity for domestic chores at the weekend during the day. Because of their mess, I am now being charged at the higher Economy 7 rate instedad of the 20% less of the ECO 20/20 tariff. GOING OVER TO EDF ENERGY WAS THE BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER. I am now having to argue over the problems caused by the huge bill they are attempting to serve on me. I should add, that as a pensioner, I cannot afford the exhorbitant sums this company is requesting - and have requested a visit from someone in customer services | |||||||||
