Can some body please advise me if i am right or wrong. In May 2007, my wife and i were looking to remortgage the house to a better rate after getting into a bit of difficulty with our repayments. We made an internet enquiry to Orchard house, and shortly after we contacted by the very charming Ian James, who insisted we meet face to face to disscuss our needs. to cut the story short we got badgered into taking a mortgage out with the riddiculus DB mortgages, at as it turned out an even worse rate, the brokers fees were 3500, added to the loan?, he even paid our arrears with his own credit card, i know it sounds like, well more fool you, but we were in a bad state and he seemed so genuine. We are now stuck with a mortgage we cannot afford, repossesion looming and to stick the knife in, Ian James has been struck off the FSA because of fraud. Can i claim my fees back or am i doomed to lose the house.

In January this year my car insurance was due for renewal. This is to cover me (50yrs old and my son 19yrs old)We would be driving a 13yr old astra between us. In January I explained to DIRECT LINE that the car would be declared SORN until June this year. Today 1st June I went to renew the policy and was told that my no claims bonus for my son has expired because I did not renew within 90 days. Now how come they didnt tell me that when I advised them in January this year???? Could it be, it was so they could make more money??? Anyway after a discussion with the operator they gave me a new QUOTE using the tried and tested system of throwing the dice. Last year with NO no claims discount for either of us my premium was £1760. This year I have one year but my son has lost his.............so the premium for the renewal is WAIT FOR IT !!!! £2662. kike i said ...just rolling the dice!!! Got on to the "MEERKAT" site and low and behold my new premium is just £1154 for exactly the same insurance cover. GOOD BYE DIRECT LINE FOR MY CAR INSURANCE AND MY DAUGHTERS IN SEPTEMBER AND MY WIFES IN OCTOBER.

I informed the department that one of my grandchildren had torn one on our leather dining chairs they did it was a toy car, they sent an inspector round who said it not due to accident, its a scar in the material thats weaken. Now my grandson told us as soon as he had done it and there is a small tear on the chair next to it where he had run the car across. My insurance policy clearly states on it Accidental Damage and stains. I have been told they will not be doing anything as we are NOT COVERED FOR ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE. This is total misleading by the saleperson who said this was the perfect insurance to take out with as any accident are covered. This company sell the insurance put are not prepared to honour the cover. I am taking action to claim back the insurance we paid. One compnay I shall never purchase from again.

My daughter went online to book her car driving theory test. She searched through Google and TheoryTest.net comes up at the top of the list so she selecetd that as a genuine site. She was charged £51 for the test which is actually only £31 if booked through the DVLA site! It did not state that they would charge an extra £20 it inferred that it was the correct fee!

I did a search online for a gadget mobile phone called a xun chi and it brought up a listing for Yacast Limited with an email address to contact them. I emailed them asking for information whether they had any in stock and how much it would be for me to buy. They emailed back to confirm the price and that I had to pay by Western Union. They then chased me a week later asking whether I wanted to place an order and that it will be delivered within 24 hours. I confirmed that I did and they sent me details to enable me to pay through Western Union which I did on 18th May and sent a confirmation email to them confirming this. They then emailed me back on 20th May saying that there was a problem at Customs and that I had to pay another $100 to them so that Customs would then ship the item to me. This didn't ring true so I asked for the details of the person at Customs, what Country it was being sent from and their telephone number and if not then I would like a refund. They came back that they didn't have this information and that I had to pay the money to their manager who was out in Africa through Western Union. I asked again for a refund and they replied that I couldn't have a refund until the manager got back in 90 days. I told them I was entitled to a refund within 30 days as I had not received the item that I had agreed to buy for the agreed price. I have not had any response since 26th May saying that the manager hasn't given him any information and that the price was going up $5 each day.

It started on day one for me the confident talking representative telling me I would get all the support I need no need to go back to the start and complete GCSE which I passed with a C in science 2000. I was told there was no reason at all with all the support and forums and student services why I shouldn't complete this course. So I signed up for Alevel Biology and Physics with there online discount, the course packs quick to follow and I was on my way. I started with biology was ok little daunting but physics was what seemed impossible and so I hit the forums started to see a pattern amongst others all asking what do we do know how do we book our exams do we need equipment how do we do experiments a shambles I thought came straight of that and started working. When I got stuck I asked for help on the web chat and was told tutor would get back to me they didn't in the end I submitted my first paper with the hope I would have stressed my concern enough by writing what I could and then quoting the rest what I couldnt even understand how to answer using the guides. Weeks went past and I carried on still struggling received the test paper back eventually the tutor had noticed the copying and made it lcear offer no guidance and the bits I had done any response to these I could barely read. So I tried again resubmitted and every time I tried to get a response to help me with the question I struggled with the tutor was away not at her desk or uncontactable. I started calling talking online and left queries in march it had been over a month no response to my resubmitted paper I got a string of excuses it was as if the tutor had left the planet. 1 it takes at least 2 weeks to complete marking 2. The paper had gone to an IV 3. The tutor was on holiday 4. The Tutor had left 5. The tutor had left the 1st one I had and the 2nd the 1st one left due to ill health and the 2nd couldn't cope with the load and left. This is the email I received after nearly going crazy down the phone at someone because no one had a clue what was going on or how much it was stressing me out. Subject: RE: A-level Biology Test Paper 1 Dear Miss Tune I am deeply apologetic for the missing Test Paper. I have arranged for a month’s payment to be credited to your account as way of apology for this and if you require any extra support at the end of your studies I will ensure this added to your account. I should be revising now for both subjects if I had left work I could be seeing a tutor everyday but I didn't want to be out of work and struggling to pay my way and decided this to be the best of both worlds and I think that has been completely taken advantaged of. I am both out of pocket and disgusted with this behaviour I want to better my life and have a career to be proud of and now I don't even feel confident starting again with another company in case I get robbed again.

Much like what others have said to be honest. Was phoned and told I'd won a free makeover. Nice long description of what that would include, finally when I asked so am I gonna have to pay anything and was told reluctantly that I would need to pay a £50 deposit per person that would be refundable. Stupidly gave out my card details (duh!) and said to debit the money on the 8th June. That's one week away. I searched their company and it seemed legit but then my brain got workin, eventually I searched reviews and WOW I think for every twenty complaints there's one stupidly good review (That seems a bit suspicious to me, staff possibly?) I've emailed them and told them if they debit my bank I will report them. Not sure who to. That I decline their offer as I have very poor health and don't think I'll be able to travel (which is true). I haven't signed a contract and I wasn't told I was now obligated but I don't know if I'll be able to stop the transaction or if i can tell my bank about it? I do have a number for them though but it doesn't seem from what people have said that I'll be able to get through to them but I'll try.

After SmartABC have misrepresented the facts and have taken your hard earned money, some franchisees have failed within the first few months, but then SmartABC being the ethical company they are! then demand from you the remainder of the 5 years management fees plus products that you may have ordered from then in that period, in some cases demands have been for £30,000+ and if that’s not enough and you don't pay up, they then get debt collectors to chase you for the debt, 2 people have already declared themselves bankrupt and some are about to lose their home. My clain stems from very bad service from this so called company. Last year my boiler broke down and I was refered to WARMSURE by the manufacturers. After 4 visits by different engineers, none of which appeared to know what they were doing!!! an engineer from the Bedford area arrived at my house. Within 10 mins my boiler was up and running and the fault was simple to repair. He was brilliant but the company itself is complete and utter tosh!! Over the winter period, when it was freezing cold this companty left elderly and frail people cold, so that they could concentrate on the more money making side of the business from BARCLAYCARD. Warmfront customers were not attended because money grabbing managers thought it best to focus on CASH! SHAME ON YOU! The engineer who attended my property was glad to be leaving the company but to give him credit he was still defending its reputation until the bitter end

across an ad for male and female companions wanted so i called this number02071933586 and spoke to a man called kevin he said you get to go out with the high class man for dinner and drinks so i liked the sound of that then he said it would be 295 pouud for a week untill i could pay them he said a man by the name of james wanted to book me so i hade a booking for 11 oclock in the evening on the 31st of may with this james but a bout 3 days after i hade payed my money and thay got it it was about 5past 6 in the evening on the 31st i got a text telling me it was off and not heard any more from them this has happend to other poeple and i belive thay are scamers and i want my money back can you help kind regards denise mitchell

WHEN I CALL THE PERSON DEALING WITH MY CASE IS IN A MEETING AND THEY WILL RING ME BACK DOESNT HAPPEN, WHEN I EMAIL THEM I GET NO RESPONSE EITHER.

I was contacted on the 10th May & signed up to the 21 day free trial for advertising space. The company looked very pro & feel i asked all the right questions. Charlotte was very helpful & gave my card nums for the £4 something art costs. 17 days later £468.82 was debited from my acount!!! The dearest advertising cost listed for this co was only £249 for 16mths...where has this £468.82 come from? I am a new small business out of pocket & with any luck hope to get the money back from bank due to fraudulant behaviour. I have a copy of the t&c's & date of the 1st emial to prove i am still within the 21 day trial. I hope your reading this local events con artist, you will not continue this ripping off for too long!! Will let you know how i get on with getting money back from bank. This has now made me very aware of all edvertisng companies whom will now have lost potetial business through local events behaviours.

I ordered my wood in March and was told it would arrive in April as it needed staining. The end of April arrived and no contact from them. The first week after that I called and they told me the wood was drying and would be ready next week. The week after they told me they had a sickness bug in the warehouse so my order was not completed. Then it was they had had a staff injury and my order was not completed. Then it was that the wood had not taken the stain (when they had already said it was drying and fine). They then offered me a change of wood and when the sample arrived it was light wood total opposite to what I had ordered. At that point I asked them to refund our money as they could not deliver what we had paid for. After two weeks still no refund. Call after call and still no refund. I then receive a email telling me they were refunding 35 pound not the 1316 pounds we had paid. I then threatened them with trading standards and that I would sit in there shop for a week until I got a refund. They finally refunded my money. NEVER AGAIN
